Now frustrated, I tried to reinstall for laptop (which is now down to win7) and it seems that my n ° s is no longer valid (red 'X'). Is there a way to reset s # to install second? I didn't downgrade my old system of production of win7 still works until I got up the new box and go.

  -Right-click on the EXE and select a previous compatibility mode in the options window

  Your serial number is only valid for a Mac system.  Unfortunately CS4 is not eligible for platform swap, your only option would be to buy the latest version for Mac or sign up for a subscription to creative cloud.

  1, I don't think that Adobe has ever put a serial number ON an area where everyone in the store could see... your serial number should be on a sticker inside the box

  2nd, check at https://accounts.adobe.com/ , then click on Plans & products above to find a list of your programs and your serial numbers

  If your version of Design Premium CS4 for Windows run on a 32 bit OS, then I don't think that it is running in Windows 10. There are a few cases of people install with the 64 bit version of CS4 Design Premium, however. See this thread: Re: CS4 and Windows 10?

  PC programs do not install on Mac computers (diesel in a petrol car and it does not work)

  CS4 is too old for a swap of the platform and is more commercialized... you'll have to buy a Windows computer to use this software
