Reinstall XP
Hi people:
I am not able (cost) to update or buy new equipment to upgrade XP, even if I wanted to. My question: if I ever reinstall XP from my CD, yet will I be able to update, service pack, security and various? Thank you Robert G |

You can get the updates and service packs from Microsoft Download Center.

How can I reinstall El Capitan?
I'm really impressed by Sierra to date. He made my Mac just as slow as a 2000 pre. I want to reinstall El Capitan. How can I do this? I have an iMac 21 inch end 2013 model. Memory is 8 GB 1600 mHz.
You will need to wipe your hard drive and can then restore your backup that you made before the upgrade. You use recovery to wipe and restore.

Reinstall Lion 10.7.5
Hello
I have an iMac, it s a little old, since 2011.
I m still using OS X Lion and I have to do a full restore. It has a few problems and I´d like to get rid of them.
As far as I know I do it in disk/Restore utility, then the OS download yourself.
My question is: I download Lion or I m going to get Maverick, Yosemite or El Capitan?
Thank you!! C.
If you use the recovery partition, then reinstall the latest version of the OS.
If you use a disk or USB key, you will get the version of the OS on it.
If you use the recovery of the Internet system, it will reload the computer's original OS (or Lion if the firmware of the computer has been upgraded to access.)

I think iTunes is damaged on my iMac as I get some POPs and clicks in the audio when playing music. This does not work when I use Spotify. Please notify.
Try using the Quick Look of Finder feature or your browser to listen to the music.
If the songs are playing correctly, back up your library and reinstall iTunes normally. Probably, you will not need to use the backup immediately.
If they aren't, delete and reload the songs, and then save the library.

Hello
You don't have to remove or reinstall anything.
On Apple TV (4th generation), go to settings > network. On Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation), go to settings > general > network. Select the name of a Wi - Fi compatible to join. If requested, enter your Wi - Fi password.

Uninstall/reinstall the sticker pack in iOS 10
I had some unusual problems with new stickers in the Messages. I had a few different packages installed and found that two of the packs do not appear in the box to 'Manage' the message store. However, the store shows them as installed. I've disabled all pack that I installed it, which seems to have made those able to be reinstalled, with the exception of those two who are seemingly invisible.
I was not able to find another method to disable/remove these packets of stickers of my camera. They are Super Mario racing stickers and Stickmappers.
I have a second phone for work and no problems with the new features of Messages here. Ask yourself if there is a way to reset the default message store or another way to delete/manage somehow the packs.
Thank you!
Greetings DGL,
Thanks for your post here on Apple's Support communities. I see that both of you have installed packets of stickers do not show up to use and do not show on the page manage the iMessage App Store for you to manage. I know how much I appreciate the use of sticker packs. I'll be more than happy to help.
If the packets of stickers was bundled with another application, they can be uninstalled by going to settings > general > storage management, in the first section of storage. Locate the application and press DELETE. If they are iMessage only apps they can be managed through the Manage tap in the app store of iMessage.
If it's apps only iMessage, have you tried restarting your iPhone to see if they have or can be removed on the tab manage?
Let us know.
Take care!

Will be my removed apps if I reinstall OS x?
Hello.
I sorta messed my osx el captain that it does not start and I need to reinstall the operating system.
I have 3 questions:
1-if I reinstall osx via recovery mode (by downloading all), deleted my application and data of the applications (such as the authorized iTunes or CameraRaw presets or Photoshop itself)?
2. If I reinstall osx as a pure install, through an external bootable flash drive, deleted my regular data such as photos and documents that I have on my drive? (I prefer to do what I already have el captain on a flash drive and do not need to download an extra 5 GB with recovery)
3. If I reinstall OS X through the means above, will be my deleted and deleted bootcamp drive?
BTW I don't really have the opportunity to make backups so please do not say backup and reinstall, I need to know exactly what will happen in one of the situations, so I lose nothing
1. reinstall by recovery will not erase your applications and will even keep your settings.
2 clean install should erase your drive before installing the new OS.
3. Bootcamp is not affected in both cases.

If your iPad (and without doubt of iPhone and iPod touch, too) is low on storage space, apparently it will lead you automatically remove apps for you, and reinstall their (and the apps data) after the update:
Is this new, or if I've been living under a rock? In any case, this feature seems very convenient!
Thanks for the tip. It's brand new and a very welcome feature. Whereas Apple called IOS 10 their biggest update, I'm surprised that they did not have a big stink top.

By updating my iPad iOS 10 it locked up and I had to reboot. Now a few apps do not work.
Is it possible to reinstall iOS 10 or should I just wait for the next update from Apple?
You can restore the device. You can either restore from a backup, or you can restore back to the factory. See the information in these two documents of support for instructions, depending on how you want to restore.

Reinstall OS x after replacing the hard drive
Hello
This is my second post, the first I wrote in German and I didn't know that most of you don't understand that.
In any case:
I am new to the apple world and bought a Macbook Pro Late 2008 with preinstalled OSX El Capitan of second hand.
But I don't trust those partitions of recovery (in reference to malware in them) and I want also to all of this a little speed. So I decided to build in an SSD that I already had. My problem: I can not start in the menu with Cmd + R or Alt + Cmd + R to reinstall El Capitan.
Can you help me?
Thank you
Note: Sorry for my English if I expressed me wrong somehow as I said at the beginning of the post that I am of the Germany.
A 2008 MBP came with the OSX installation discs. You need to use to install the original OSX or use the Snow Leopard retail disk:
http://www.Apple.com/shop/product/MC573Z/A/Mac-OS-x-106-Snow-Leopard
Then run the update to Snow Leopard drop-down list:
https://support.Apple.com/kb/dl1399?locale=en_US
Which will allow you to install El Capitan on the App store. Also then your MBP will be associated with your Apple ID, allowing you to update your software on the App store.
Ciao.
