• The context menu 'this framework' is missing

  There are two users in question, the two Firefox running on Windows 7 36.0.1. When right clicking on a frame in a Web site, they have a context menu option 'the framework', echoes cascading on to provide various actions you can take (this frame printed, etc.). The other user doesn't have this option. To the best of my knowledge, the two users are running installs similar: the default collection of plug-ins that are enabled in our enterprise environment, they do not have twisted all topic parameters: config, etc. Why 'This framework' context menu would only not available for one of them?   I re-read your posts tonight and spent some time tinkering with Firefox on my machine at home (36.0.3 on Win8.1). I was watching my mailbox in OWA, which has a shared mailbox added as well. I discovered that the messages in the shared mailbox Inbox had the option of this framework in the context menu, while the Inbox has no messages in my personal mailbox.

  A little back of comparison and I finally noticed: display the list of my Inbox is configured to display Conversations by Date (see screenshot). However, the shared mailbox Inbox had the Conversations view option deselected.

  When the Conversations view option is disabled, OWA displayed each message in the reading pane in a frame. In Conversations mode, it seems to use CSS for the reading instead of this pane.

  I just installed the latest version of Firefox, which is available for Ubuntu - 29,0 - and now the system menu of standard window disappeared. Instead, I have a horrible menu truncated to the right of the address bar.

  I can work where many of the missing menu items went to, but there are a few that I can't find. Especially the whole 'help' menu (I wanted to use "help-> about" to know what was the version, but I had to use dpkg instead) and the menu 'View-> character encoding', which I use often when debugging problems with web sites.

  Why the menu has been removed? Seems like a stupid idea for me. Is there a way to reactivate?

  I found it. Well, sort of.

  If you press 'alt', you get the menu appearing temporarily.

  If you right-click in the empty space next to the tabs, you get the option to activate permanently in the menu bar.

  Friends on IRC pointed out both of those myself. There is no way, I could find them without help. It is a terrible user interface.

However, it quickly became obvious to me when set up the camera or the menu system how much I already miss my flip to the previous cameras viewfinders where I can step of learning from the viewfinder to make adjustments to menu. (when I step to OLED viewfinder, it white this menu disappears).

  I guess I can feed the menu on to another monitor etc, but when you're traveling light, a monitor attached to the camera for purposes of access to menu is not really practical for me.

  Thanks for the response back.  If you have your data backed up on an external device or a dvd, you can always perform a clean install and let it update.

  With the boot, you disable the services to see if any third-party service is causing the problem.

  So you see your application autostart - unless it is enforcement, not UiApplication. Also focus on the method of Application.acceptsForeground - you might want to tinker with it.

  Check all the icons in the 'Application Switch' strip - it will be your main application with an icon as well.

  Anyone know of a good solution for this?

  A few weeks ago I started noticing that I couldn't open my application system preferences in the Apple Menu bar (via the Apple logo > system, or via the WiFi icon Preferences > network, or even Preferences by right-clicking on the desktop to change the desktop background, etc.).

  WHAT WORKS:

  I can open the system preferences if I click directly on the application icon or you try to open it from the dock.

  I can open the app in the Apple menu if I register as another user.

  WHAT DOES NOT WORK:

  The problem does not go away when I restart in mode 'start '.

  The problem does not go away when I run disk utility.

  The problem does not go away when I remove the "Finder" and "System Preferences".plist file in the Preferences folder in the user's library.

  The problem does not go away when I remove the files "Preferences panel" bury of the Cache in the user's library folder.

  I was about to just try and re-install the MacOS, but thought I would try the forums first, since the Apple Support site said that it should not be necessary if the problem is only limited to a user's profile.   Given all of the things you tried that don't work, over time it would take to troubleshoot more, you could restore OS X in 45 minutes to an hour on a broadband connection using OS X Recovery.

  Start your Mac while pressing the command + R keys. From there, you should be able to access the built in utility to verify and repair the disk from startup (if necessary) and OS X using OS X recoveryof restoration.

  What happened when you "press f8 and went into the start menu. ?  You should have seen the inscription as:

  'safe mode', "safe mode with networking", "last known good", etc. etc.  In these situations, it depends on what the computer or the user was doing when the computer crashed, what the line of resolution would result. Just from the top, select Safe mode and try to start.  If windows starts, there are probably a problem with drivers not loaded through a secure boot which only loads the windows drivers of base needed for windows open and run in a limited mode. While in safe mode, we will offer you the choice to use the SYSTEM RESTORE to restore your computer to an earlier point in time where everything worked well. In unknown situations, when I'm in front of a computer when you know not what caused the accident, I take a point of restoring older and not the most recent one, preferably a machine made on its own schedule, not a constraint by a device or driver installation. Note that a SafeMode restore is not generally reversible, i.e. canoe must be cancelled at the point before the restoration (in this case, the condition has crashed), yet other points before and after can be subsequently used.

  Once you have done this, or even before, if you would not rather try this again, you can use Event Viewer to try to find out what happened before the crash. Check the system and application logs, for the latest entries and repost here about this if you need help with the content of the newspapers, and we will try to help you. Alternatively, if you get it running, then you can visit this site to help you with additional questions.   On my desk, I have the old menu system that I prefer no doubt because everything is in English and easy to see and search. For example, on the menu desktop there a Tools option where I can quickly erase my history and cache.

  But on my laptop, it's the new paradigm where several menu commands are hidden and difficult to find, therefore, I do not like this new design. I don't understand why Firefox made this change, when the old system was much better and more effective.
