  It is no problem to get a PDF of the analyses using the MFC cm1323 with a computer running Windows XP. After you change the computer and now Windows 8/64, the scan to PC function offers only files such as jpg, tiff, etc. I acknowledge also the 'Document Manager' is no longer available after downloading the Solution Center software. Is Manager of Document not yet available for Windows 8? If so, is there another possibility to get PDF files without Adobe Acrobat software?

  Thanks for this comment. It will be at least prevents me to keep looking. That I do not scan to PDF files very often, I'll get a solution that is free; No matter if I first scan and then reformat the file in a second operation.

  I would like to install the PDF generator on a dedicated machine, and other components LiveCycle to another machine. How to raise the process mgmt PDF generator location?

  LiveCycle is designed with the hope that all his pieces will reside in the same JVM (being done through consolidation scalability).  If you want to separate components and run separately, then you would have to make certain choices that might not be to your liking.

  Click Start > run > type CMD > Ok. Command prompt opens. On the command line type or paste each of the commands below, one at a time, pressing ENTER after each command. Restart the computer and attempt to print the photos.

  In addition, what makes you think that file associations have been changed to PDF format? You can right click on the files in question > will the properties and the file type. It would be very strange for jpeg files have been changed to PDF format. Possible but, strange.

  My project team has an obligation to provide the radio button and text field enable/disable features in a pdf generated by Documaker Studio 12.3 during the e-sign process.

  Currently, we run a script superimposed on the pdf to provide this functionality for customers.

  Fillable PDF is available in the two 12.4 SE and EE.

  In most cases, the XFA PDF file will have validation and formatting similar to the field types used on the Documaker data entry forms.

  If you issue XFA PDF files, the fields fill out the PDF form will have no formatting and validation in the field.

  Some things like the DAL support not available in XFA PDF files.

  If you are not familiar with the Documaker data entry forms used in Documaker Workstation, you can use the tool to check data entered in DMStudio to see how different types work on field data entry forms.

  My client needs to combine the files into a pdf file, but they cannot use Adobe Pro DC because they are a government agency and their PC is locked and they cannot load new applications on them. Survey Services PDF Adobe cloud looked like a good solution. However, some of the files that are needed to combine scanned documents and their scanner produces PDF files where each page is an image. In the service of PDF, it is possible to export these PDFs from word using OCR documents, but there is no option to select the output in a smart PDF format. They need the documents to be a true replica of the original, but also be index-able. They would pay for a subscription for a service that can convert to a smart PDF format, but is there an Adobe online service that allows to convert into a smart PDF format?

  Try to think about it as "OCR on a PDF by", not some kind of conversion. Who can help you locate a service such as Adobe do not have. Be aware that, if you find the clumsy bureaucracy to get the software installed, it can be insurmountable for a service online because of privacy. Protocols within governmental organizations are strict in order to keep all not controlled.

• Adobe Reader DC on 10 to WIN will not print nor save any document pdf, just show it on the screen.

  On the screen, everything seems OK and changes, i.e. to add text a.s.o., can be made. But then the document cannot be saved or printed. For printing, the necessary configuration looks ok but then comes the error message 'no page (s) selected for printing'.

After that it was complete, the client decided they wanted a copy with only the odd pages to display on a screen at an event. I was looking for a way to export a PDF of only odd pages, but did not find.   You will not be able to make changes to the PDF using Reader App., you will need Acrobat application installed on your computer to edit PDF files.

  Using Reader App you can only add comments to the PDF, not more possible editing.

  There is no easy way to do it, as PDF files should never be edited in a way. You will need to select the items below and drag them to the top.

  Of course, the best approach is to change the format of the original file and then generate a new PDF file, if possible.

  I am trying to add a PDF to my WebCenter portal. I tried another thing to achieve, but none worked (documents Viewer, presenter of content, etc.). What I want to do is very simple: I want only to display the PDF document. The closest thing I've reached to open the document in another page, using an ADF go link like this:

  All I can tell you is to try different options and see if it fits the Bill.

  In addition to the attributes listed possible targetFrame, I imagine that if you use frames, assigning to the attribute name of the desired image targetFrame should work. For example, if the frame where should open the PDF file is named 'myFrame', assigning to the attribute targetFrame for "myFrame" should work.

  Your mileage may vary.

  Not possible on 10.6.x. use the printer / PostScript® File, then distill the settings of your choice in Acrobat Distiller.
