  You can't, that's why I suggested the modules above. There is no option in the user interface or preferably hidden in Firefox that can duplicate a tab whenever you open a new tab browser.newtab.url can only be set to a fixed address, what address is to be opened in the current tab.

  I think you can use the column feature in word. Format the page in two columns.

  I have two monitors, - by-side, with the landscape and the other in portrait orientation. I prefer to read my PDF files on-screen portrait so I can see the whole page at the same time. When I start everything first, Acrobat will remember where I opened my last PDF and pull upward on the second monitor. The problem comes after the first PDF is open. When I opened the PDF later, they are open by default on the primary display (landscape), off the screen and above the head (see diagram below). I have to click on the edge of the window PDF to resize and after resizing, the header of the page is available and I can move it where I want it to go.

  Is it possible to say that it's okay to open PDF just above the other Acrobat? If there is an interface with tabs, it would not be a problem, but of course it will not happen.

  Go in Edition > Preferences

  In the categories on the left, select Documents

  Check the option "restoring last settings when reopening documents."

  Click Ok

  You can also set your Portrait as a default monitor. This will open the PDF files on the other.

  I just upgraded to Version 17.0.1 Fiefox and now whenever I click on a shortcut to a .htm file on my open office 2 of the same pages. I tried the trick of 'make IE default browser and then switch back to Firefox' as advised in blogging help, but that made no difference. I even "reset firefox" without result.

  I had to remove Firefox manually (Windows uninstall won't) and then re-install Firefox. Fortunately, I didn't lose all my favorites. Thanks for all the offers of help displayed.
