• Is it possible to move a ramp Gradient along with / to the object?

  I asked here: make a Gradient ramp can Start/Stop when be relative to the object? but it has not generated any answers for me. If someone is in the StackExchange scene and wants to meet here also it would be great.

  What I'm trying to understand, that is if there is a simple way to have a Gradient of the ramp to start and stop positions relative to the object, to which the effect is applied. I guess I could make delicate Pickwhip stuff, but it seems that there should be only a checkbox somewhere for that. Looks like a very obvious thing for me. I select a shape, apply a ramp degraded, if I move this shape I want the gradient ramp to move as well. Otherwise the shape looks radically different if not completely flat.

  Is there a simple way to do this?

  You dial before the item with the ramp on it - this will be 'rasterize' effect (so to speak), so when you move the object around the screen, the ramp will sit where it should.

  I don't know that I did it is clear enough. The new VM script seems to work, it creates a new virtual machine.

I have successfully used the function of the State of the object to change the object to a different State, but I need it back to its Normal state when it is selected again in the State has changed and then continue to turn every State when you click on it.   You're talking about custom or InBuilt States. What kind of action do you use: a simple or advanced/shared action?  If you simply switch between two States, use the approach I described in this blog post:

  I have a series of large module has just completed for a high-profile pharma sales force - all built in my former 8. Captivate any software. Should I build a custom interface and completely brand (as it usually is) and do not use search gawd-awful, teacher friendly, built in stuff. All controls in the interface/shell are on slide master (as they should be) - and they are dynamic objects that use images in their States of a button. Worked very well! A master slide to any other, quiz, for precedent... get it. Plus - I complex animations that require a certain work come in the content area of a position backstage - so master slide items MUST be chosen as always on top (another reason to place controls on master slides. Some of my animations are edge animate - then those who are great - but the Captivate timeline based stuff can be 'hidden' obviously.

  Guess what? Captivate 9 not only broke all the controls (and all the custom actions of the art btw)-who needed to be rebuilt using their new 'States' method - but for some bizarre reason Adobe brilliantly REMOVED says abilities completely, all the objects that are placed on leaves of masters... WHY! Now - projects that I opened in it (which where ideally converted to C9 now) have not any comment Visual user for my custom shell (no State to overthrow) controls. I am the only man that creates custom controls and requires them to be the most logical place... slide masters? I am at a loss with this absurd forgotten - especially when it was already possible in Captivate 8. People really bad call.

  Hello guys!

  I've been googlin everywhere, but impossible to find a solution to my problem. I hope that one of you, qualified people can point me in the right direction :)

  I created a powerCLI script to take a snapshot of our most important servers before we do our weekly maintenance. The idea to run the script as regular powershell script and then have

  1. Add snap-ins powercli and connect to virtualcenter servers
  2. ask the VC servers to virtual machines in a perticular folder
  3. Loop foreach on these servers to create a snapshot with the name $snapshotname

  Currently, I just do it turn on a test folder that I created in vSphere that contains 3 test VMs:

  • Testmagne1 - normal operation
  • Testmagne2 - I renamed the folder for this virtual machine in the data store to generate an error.
  • testmagne3 - normal operation

  Since the servers (not the test servers, but good ones) is the most important servers in our environment, I want to be able to catch exceptions and errors when I run this script. I do this with the Try - Catch - Finally works.

  The strange thing is:

  The release of Powershell/PowerCLI is different from the output in VirtualCenter (!)

  In virtualcenter, the output is as follows

  • Testmagne1 - snapshot is created successfully - as expected
  • Testmagne2 - the snapshot creation fails because it cannot find the files .vmx - as expected
  • Testmagne3 - snapshot is created successfully - as expected

  However, the exit in powercli is slightly different:

  • Testmagne1 - snapshot is created successfully - as expected
  • Testmagne2 - creation of the snapshot fails because it cannot find the files .vmx - as expected
  • Testmagne3 - snapshot fails with the error message: operation is not valid due to the current state of the object - huh?

  
  

  Apparently once the first error is generated all succeeding VMs get error "the operation is not valid due to the current state of the object"

  Definition - ErrorAction Stop locally on the cmdlet will not solve the problem. We have found and solved the problem and the fix will be available in the next version. Until then, you can use the $error variable to detect whether the cmdlet was successful or not. You can clear the $error variable before calling the cmdlet and check if it's still empty after the call.

• DPS: Judge to use the parameter Raster or vector in the States of the objects when the majority of the page is a photo. What is the best setting for the overall performance?

  I am trying to decide whether to use the parameter Raster or vector in the States of the object when the majority of the screen is a picture (with a modest but important legend for children to read). The legend certainly makes it look more net as vector. But does the photo! The raster setting seems to make the lower-res images in comparison. In my first edition of my application, I thought that raster would be the best setting when the photo was the subject dominating the page. But now, after seeing how strong he looks like vector, (but with almost a refresh of the unacceptable time. Perhaps better on the latest iPad. Most of my readers/students in class will use iPad 2 s, which has a slower processor). I wonder if I should go through the trouble of changing States of photo objects that have the type as well to the vector. It doesn't seem to be as sensitive to a re - draw on the iPad 2 (non-retine)

  Is Filesize hit if I make about 1200 on these objects range from Raster to vector? (It is a huge, highly interactive history book, so I'm curious if acutally go to vector on these photos would reduce the size of the file) What is the best setting for the overall performance?

  I see the freeks screen outside for a bit if you try to pinch and zoom in a vector object (photo) vs raster. Which is disappointing. Does slow down load time/refreshment in frame, which is a little less. I also found that the drop shadows really bad that redraws effect in vector, almost vibrating in a slide show, for example. Thus, in cases where I need shadows, I'm sticking with Raster.

• With Move-VM error: operation is not valid due to the current state of the object.

  I only started shows after update to PowerCLI v5.1.  My vCenter is v5.0.  I saw this when moving virtual machines to a data store in a different data store cluster.  The task submits to vCenter successfully and ends, but the Move-VM errors and returns control to the script or command line that ran.

  As much as I know there no official PS still in PowerCLI v3 support, although there are only a few known minor pitfalls.

  I'm using fix - up all-NIC in the host servers when a portgroup is renamed.  Demand seems to make the required changes, then crashses.  I don't see any errors in the list recent tasks in vCenter.

  I have a question about Indesign CC. We are currently working on a new DSP and we want to link to a picture in an Objetstate. It is not a problem to access the page with ' navto: / / < document > #3 "but I can't show the image I want to show it because it is in a State of the object. According to the page were I made I want to show different images.

  This means that I need a link that can go to another page (not), but after that to a specific image in the State of the object.

  Is it possible to do this?

• Can I change the State of an object by highlighting on the text?

  This issue probably makes no sense, but I didn't know how this word with just a few words.

  I'm working on a site where I have a "button" that includes text in. When someone passes over the button, it changes color (it's basically showing the user that the site meets). When I put the text in the button, it causes the button changes color when I go over it.

  I know that it is because the text is covering the area that is supposed to respond to the mouse of the user.

  So, I wonder if there is a way to either make the text and the 'button' all that against, or whether it is possible to make the text 'invisible' to the mouse. What I mean by 'invisible', it is that the computer recognizes the text that will be the key that is sensitive to the user's mouse.

  I am able to do using photoshop, but I was just wondering if it is possible to do in only muse.

  You can define States for the background as the rectangle layer, then insert the text block that will change the State to move mouse, but if the text block covers the background, then he used active state.

• Why is my text pixelated and fuzzy during the loading of a State of the object?
