Removal of tempered glass?

Hello, everyone.

I am new to the Apple family - I got my iPhone SE a few days ago and I love it already!

My question is on the glass for the screen. I had one and could not install correctly (there are a few characteristics of the dust and fingerprints cause I was super nervous, overall, I tried to reapply several times but it was a failure). I wanted to order a new quality, one (I decided to go for Nillkin 9 H + Pro), but I wonder if I can damage the screen of the iPhone somehow to remove the old and put a new, or if the constant peeling power could destroy the screen? I would appreciate your opinion on it.

I do not know. Probably not. Why do you need a still screen protector? They will not stop burst if left falling glass. They are only a false sense of security and only a protection against scratches, which is difficult on a screen of iPhone anyway. The money is better spent on AppleCare + who will provide replacements for two years for a small franchise. Drop your phone with a protective screen and you will have to pay a lot more to have the screen replaced or a replacement under warranty.

In my mind, it makes sense to pay extra for Apple AppleCare +. You've spent a lot of money on the device, a device that works in an ideal environment, suffers from water damage and a fall. Long term you save money in my opinion. In addition, when you arrive at the 23 month mark, you can probably get a refurbished unit with a new battery, the screen and the case for less than $100.

  • Tempered glass screens are ruining the look of the iPhone?

    Hey guys,.

So, recently I bought the iPhone 6 Plus and also bought a screen in tempered glass. At the request of the screen, I noticed immediately that the screen has Lint and dirt adhered. I understand the Plus 6 is bent sideways and therefore products probably would not be available to cover the entire screen.

All this experience or whether any screen of toughened glass exists covering the entire 6 more screen?

    Thank you very much!

I have a glass on my iPhone screen 6 Plus. It is perfect. But only because I had them apply it to the store. They are very difficult to apply without tasks.

  • iPhone case 6s + tempered glass combo for complete protection

You will need to completely protect the iphone to my wife crazy toddler.

I currently use a portfolio case (here) without protective glass. I like the case but I think that I need a rugged protection that my toddler started throwing the phone around on hard ground.

I like the idea of tempered glass, but do not know if using tempered glass stop me to use any case "robust" - same one I use at the moment.

Please recommend "Compatible tempered glass (fully covered or not fully covered - is not serious) & robust casing combo" in a (reasonable price range<$30>

I recommend that buy you a cheap toy for your child.

iPhone is not a toy and expensive.

  • Of screen heat and hardened glass

    Hi all
I am a proud new owner of the z2. As usual my first thoughts are protection accessories. I always put a glass on previous phones (g2, s5, nexus5) for better protection and sensation.

My question is, is tempered glass stress the screen more than his warm, leaving no heat out? In other words, should I worry about tempered glass keeping the hottest screen (which may result in cracking, suffice it to say based on what I've read here and there)? Many say that this phone is overheating so I'm a little worried. I use tempered glass cheap at the price of €10, if it's important.

    Thank you!

I do not think that this will affect the temperature of your phone, I use one on my Z3D and Z2, two of them are not overheating. Also, talk, I dropped my Z2 a decline very nasty, I have observed some cracks on the screen, but I was very happy to discover that the carcks were on tempered glass protects only

  • What brand of glass is on Xperia Z3 Compact?

As the title says, I would like to know what brand of glass based on the Xperia Z3 compact, for front and rear? Or is it just generic tempered glass?

Not heard of the glass giving different whites, but a few differences in the color and brightness is normal.

On the glass on the back, on the Z3, it is also 3 gorilla and Z3 compact, but also Dragon Trail X or 3 gorilla.

  • I am trying to delete or disable the Windows screen magnifier "magnifying glass" from my PC.

TrustedInstaller keeps blocking my attempts to remove the magnifying glass. I tried to access trusted install without success. How can I accomplish this?

When I run games iWin game Manager works fine. However, when I opened a magnifying glass game is started and grafics are to big for the screen.

It is not intended to make it possible to uninstall Magnifier, just turn it off. There may be solutions hacks to workaround to do it, but I won't recommend it.

To exit the Magnifier program, press:

Of the Windows Logo key + Esc (at the same time).

  • Breaks and Apple Horizontal pencil random streaks

Device: iPad 9.7 Pro, with the Apple pencil

    The question:

While resting my Palm on the screen and written in pencil,

    (1) breaks appear when lines are supposed to be continuous. Notice the letter'm ' in the word 'missile' on the upper left corner of the image as an attachment.

    (2) in addition, the random horizontal lines appear when I try to draw vertical lines. Clearly visible in the picture attachment where horizontal lines appear when I tried to draw vertical lines.

This happened for the first time yesterday and once today; the problem lasted about 5-10 minutes each time. And When this problem occurs, no rest my Palm on the screen makes the work of pencil very well.

    A few other questions/comments:

    (1) when I use the split screen function, the touch response is poor. Try to select a link / pointing out the words on a web site the half of the split screen causes the selection/highlight words on the other half of the screen is shared.

This has happened too since yesterday. But this problem seems to persist for a long time unlike in the other question.

I have not dropped my iPad or my pencil. (Okay, I dropped my iPad three weeks ago, with a height of 1 foot.) He was protected by the smart case of Apple for the back and a tempered glass on the front screen protector... He fell flat screen face down, but as I mentioned, the case prevented any damage - the rear case has a protruding edge ensuring that even without a screen protector, screen is protected if the iPad falls face down, flat screen).

I removed the protector of toughened glass screen today when the issue resurfaced, will have to wait to see if the problem reappears. I do not think that the screen protector has been the cause of the problem, because the iPad/pencil worked fine since I bought the iPad and had installed the protective screen, which would be close to 3 months ago.

I discovered what causes the problem. It happens when I use the pencil, while the iPad is in charge. It is never used to happen sooner.

Someone else with an iPad 9.7 pro (mine is 128 GB gray space) and a pencil to Apple, please test the functionality palm rejection of your iPad with a pencil to Apple and let me know if you face the same problem. Thank you.

  • Magnetic detector

My locking/unlocking of my ipad air sensor 2 no longer works so I was wondering if there's a failure or the screen in tempered glass protector can cause this. (it covers the camera picture and everything)

    Hi MahmoudFarag2,

It appears from your description of the issue, that the sensor that would detect a Smart Cover on your iPad no longer works. I know it's important to have your iPad lock automatically when you close it, so I'm happy to help you.

To start, make sure that you have turned on to lock/unlock. You can find it under settings > brightness and display > lock/unlock.

You can find more info on this feature and compatible cases here:

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. See you soon!

  • Refurbished or new iPhone 6s?

I pre-ordered the 6 s Apple iPhone (silver, 64 GB) as soon as it was available for pre-order in the Netherlands, early October 2015. In March 2016, the iPhone just turned off and showed no signs of life, he disappeared. It wasn't because of the damage that I did for her, but because of a default internal (more likely material). KPN, my ISP, took the iPhone 6s and sent to Apple in the United States of America (KPN gave me an iPhone 4 with only 8 GB for a temporary replacement).

After 2 weeks, I went to KPN to get my 'new' iPhone 6 s, which they handed to me. I got the iPhone in a small cardboard box with no text on this subject, as it says on the iPhone 6 s original boxes. And of course there was no accessories in the box, as I still had the original ones.

When I got home, I immediately pulled out the iPhone (with care, duh) and put it on a screen in tempered glass and silicone case. After a few days, I noticed a few pixels in the upper left corner have a slightly different color. This is visible only if the bright colors (white, yellow, "cream") appear on the screen. I really don't worry about the screen. I worry, however, whether a new or refurbished iPhone, 6 s.

In addition, what can I do if it's an iPhone handed to nine 6s (I am not OK with that)? What I can do about the flaws of tiny pixels in the upper-left corner of the screen, Apple will cover the costs If I decide to fix it?

I did a screen capture of my Service and Support coverage, what Apple website based on my serial number. My serial numbers were left not scrambled to find any information that might help you to help out me.

I am in the USA and guarantees vary by country. However replacement phones in the United States may be new or refurbished at the discretion of Apple, it is a guarantee here. I wouldn't worry that refurbished devices because they are carefully tested. I worry about your defective pixels and would get this treatment, likely to replace another. The above warranty status said October 27, 2016, then you should be covered.
