Removal of the favorite button
How can I remove Favorites button in my toolbar completely? I can remove the bar menus, Favorites BAR, compatibility view Botton, command bar, status bar and show Norton Toolbar. But I can't remove the favorite BUTTON.
Thank you
MD100,
You can delete the Favorites menu and disable the Favorites button in Internet Explorer.
Change the settings of the REGISTRY can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the REGISTRY settings configuration can be solved. Changes to these settings are at your own risk
Description:
There is a setting to control the characteristics and behaviors of internet explore. With this setting, you can remove the Favorites menu of the bar menu of internet explore as well as disable the Favorites button on the standard toolbar of the main screen of internet explorers. Important: even if you enable the Favorites command on internet explore, all open internet Explorer Windows will not show this effect. To do this, go to start > run, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path below. You can create a dword value nofavorites, hkey_current_user and hkey_local_machine registry paths if the value does not exist. Now, right-click and change the value of 1 that removes the Favorites command of internet explore. However, if you want to return to the original state, change the value to 0. Restart internet explore to make the changes take effect. Note: this function works on internet explorer, version 5 and later.

Is there a way to remove the Favorites button in the menu bar? I use the Google toolbar to organize my favorites because Google bookmarks can be accessed from any computer and my phone. By habit, I continue to go click on the Favorites button in the menu bar in Firefox, but there is nothing there. Can I remove it? Cannot display the Favorites button in the navigation of acrobat reader dc
Cannot display the Favorites button in the navigation of acrobat reader dc. the document shows the Favorites in the earlier version of the adobe reader software. Any suggestions?
Hi Sukritd15,
I solved my problem! I had uploaded a PDF of a Mac OSX book
10.7.5 with Adobe Reader XI (11.0.10) to another Mac OSX 10.9.5 and
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (2015.007.20033) via Dropbox. The transfer is wiped out
all the bookmarks, including the Favorites button in the Navigation pane, because
When I downloaded a new copy of the PDF book features
has operated normally in Adobe Acrobat Reader ms.
See you soon,.

View them all bookmarks does not display the favorite button.
It is presentation all off bookmarks the Bookmarks button so no way back to the top because I can't go to the library window.
This and other things are now a little clumsy.
- There is a keyboard shortcut in Windows, it is Ctrl + Shift + B
- See hotkeys - quickly perform common Firefox tasks#w_bookmarks
- The option is still on the drop-down list of bookmarks but now at the bottom of the list (Ctrl + Shift + O) icon.
The previous tabs is another potentially buried option.
I don't know if the changes are reversible, or the reasoning for them. No doubt they options are not often used.

The favorite button does not appear in my browser
The button is supposed to be next to the home button, but he's not here
You see only this button on the toolbar of Navigation if the menu bar is hidden (view > toolbars).
If the bookmarks toolbar is visible, then the button appears on the toolbar.
Press F10, or press the Alt key to bring up the 'Menu Bar' temporarily if the menu bar is hidden.

How can I prevent a website from the removal of the Favorites toolbar in my browser?
Is there a site that I need to visit for work reasons. Unfortunately the site deletes my favorite tools of Firefox and my menu bar (File, Edit, View, etc...). Is there a way to prevent this site to change my browser like that?
A Web site should not be able to change the interface of the browser. Is the change just in pop up windows? You can prevent those with dom... settings in topic: config.
DOM.disable_window_open_feature. Rental-> true (address)
DOM.disable_window_open_feature. MenuBar-> true (menu bar)
DOM.disable_window_open_feature.personalbar-> true (bookmarks bar)
DOM.disable_window_open_feature. ScrollBars-> true
DOM.disable_window_open_feature. TitleBar-> true

You have the add-on delicious installed? This one has an option to hide the bookmarks menu entry. If you have the delicious, check his options show/hide bookmarks menu.
If you do not have this add-on, check to see if an another add-on is the cause, for details on how to do it see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes

How can I restore Favorites button to the Bookmarks Toolbar?
I did all of the remedies detailed in helping restore the Favorites button to the bookmarks toolbar, but nothing helped. The favorite button is still missing from my bookmarks toolbar.
He disappeared last night when a few cosmetic changes appeared on my Navigation bar.
I had previously imported my Internet Explorer Favorites, but they are buried deep in the bookmarks menu and do not add a new favorite - so they are not practical to use.
If I could synchronize my favorites to my favorites, I could finally give up favorites in favor bookmarks - but apparently Firefox does not provide this possibility.
Disappearance of the favorite bookmarks toolbar button makes it practically unusable Firefox for me - unless I can find a solution.
I have no Add-ons and no new plugin that could cause this problem.
I solved the problem by a suggestion on the support Forum: I just exported my favourites, as a HTML file, from Internet Explorer 8.0 on the desktop. Then I imported the file Firefox by selecting import bookmarks in HTML... under the import and backup button in the toolbar of library.
Finally, I closed and reopened Firefox. There was my favorite button once more on the bookmarks toolbar.

FF only shows do not list full of bookmarks on the Bookmarks button, why?
For some reason when I click on the Favorites button I don't see all of my favorites.
I don't know if it happens in an update or if something was wrong with the browser.
But when I do ctrl-shift-b I can see they are all there.
Just not when I use the Favorites button.The list is not too long.
But for some reason, there was something wrong with firefox.
I tried to delete the bookmarks, and some would not remove.
So I ended up remove the profile and create a new one.Which finally solved everything.

HTML file (also tried htm) is exportd by IE 9 and can be opened. When imported by Firefox, it can be seen in the unsorted bookmarks bookmarks library or view all of the bookmarks.
All read that the properties have been removed from the favorite files.
Firefox displays a profile in APPSDATA.
This is the first time I used Firefox and wish away IE. Can you help me please? Thank you.One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

Hi, is anyway to find and remove all the ' Radio buttons ' in my form? Thanks in advance...
It's much better for you if you write the code yourself. So you know and that you know exactly what you, and if things go wrong, you are much more likely to fix it. Or, if you need to adapt it for example delete all signature fields, you would know how to make this change as well.
Take a look at these pages of documentation of JavaScript, they illustrate the necessary JS methods:
Doc.numFields - DC Acrobat SDK Documentation
Doc.removeField - DC Acrobat SDK Documentation
Doc.getField - DC Acrobat SDK Documentation
If you need help with Acrobat JavaScript in general, take a look here: Beginning JavaScript for Adobe Acrobat
And, just to help you get started, here's how I would implement this feature:
for (var i=(this.numFields-1); i>=0; i--) { var f=this.getField(this.getNthFieldName(i)); if (f.type == "radiobutton") { this.removeField(this.getNthFieldName(i)); } }

How to remove the star next to the bookmark button
After the Firefox, update 29 and later, there is a button "Star" next to the button "bookmark". It's annoying when I try to open my favorites, accidentally, click on 'star' and bookmark the current page. Customize does not work because these 2 buttons are attached to each other and can not just remove the 'star '.
Is there a way to remove the 'star' beside the button "Show Favorites"?
The bookmarks Menu button is actually the marker of the fall of the combined Star (bookmark this Page) and view all the Bookmarks button.
Add code to the file userChrome.css below default @namespace.

The file userChrome.css (UI) customization and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the folder of chrome in the Firefox profile folder.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:

Firefox crashes in typing or by clicking check box or the radio button, even with all the plugins / extensions disabled, then deleted. Sometimes it hangs for five minutes. I checked the PC with several types of scanners of evil-ware, but none to be found. All hidden and deleted cookies, all DELETED & extension plugins. Remove all instances of Firefox PC and registry, then restored to bookmarks. The only thing that I did not is to remove and reinstall not my favorites.
