Removal of the favorite button

How can I remove Favorites button in my toolbar completely?  I can remove the bar menus, Favorites BAR, compatibility view Botton, command bar, status bar and show Norton Toolbar.  But I can't remove the favorite BUTTON.

Thank you

MD100,
You can delete the Favorites menu and disable the Favorites button in Internet Explorer.

Change the settings of the REGISTRY can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the REGISTRY settings configuration can be solved. Changes to these settings are at your own risk

Description:
There is a setting to control the characteristics and behaviors of internet explore. With this setting, you can remove the Favorites menu of the bar menu of internet explore as well as disable the Favorites button on the standard toolbar of the main screen of internet explorers. Important: even if you enable the Favorites command on internet explore, all open internet Explorer Windows will not show this effect. To do this, go to start > run, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path below. You can create a dword value nofavorites, hkey_current_user and hkey_local_machine registry paths if the value does not exist. Now, right-click and change the value of 1 that removes the Favorites command of internet explore. However, if you want to return to the original state, change the value to 0. Restart internet explore to make the changes take effect. Note: this function works on internet explorer, version 5 and later.
