Remove a large part of an OLTP table
HelloI have to remove a large part of a table of the big log.
The table is inserted permanently.
How can do this?
Thanks for your help
Oracle 10.2.0.4
It seems that I was wrong. :(
If inserted permanently means that the table must remain online as it is a log table, you can use [url http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e25788/d_redefi.htm#ARPLS042] dbms_redefinition to redefine the table of the newspaper as a partition of a partitioned table containing the lines to keep and the other with the lines to remove.
After you are finished with the redefinition, you can convert the partition containing the deleted rows of a regular oracle table if you do not want to lose lines, or simply drop this partition.

Corrupt mail?
My new gmail address mail went down fine. Then I lost a large part of it in the box in.
Sent mail seems to reproduce several times in my project. Also in the trash without my help. Help appreciated. Thank you.
Yosemite of OS X running.
Also went to Applications > utilities, disk utility. and 'Repair permissions' restarted when finished. Don't know if this will help future emails.
To project e-mails, open the preferences Mail account tab select the account gmail and go to the behaviour of the ball. Uncheck the tab where you will store draft messages on the server.
Give a little more detail on other issues. For the lost emails, they lack also the site of the gmail webmail?

How to remove the upper part of a key on a Satellite C870-C196?
Hello
I would like to know if it is possible to remove the upper part of a key on a TOSHIBA Satellite C870 C196 to clean underneath?
I have a button that does not work properly.
How to go without anything break?
Is there a specific tutorial for this projection keyboard how?
Thanks to you all.
Kind regards
Tutorial so that it does not exist, but I can say, is that you can remove the plastic cap. It may be problematic to implement.
On older machines, it was quite easy, but on the new laptops equipped with flat keys, it is not so easy. As far as I know that each CAP is fixed with 4 pretty small hat holders must be fixed properly. to put all the 4 instead is not so easy.I don't know what to say. You can try it, but on the other hand, I don't want to encourage that because you can damage something and in the end, you need to replace the entire keyboard.
If there is a serious problem, you can request the service of Toshiba for advice and ask for help.

Remove the dark part of the Image
Hello
I just started to work with NI VISION. I have attached an image with this post.
Can someone tell me how I can remove the dark part in the picture? I read on the histogram, which gives a total number of pixels at each level of gray.
But I don't know how I can use this information to improve the quality of the image, or in my case how can I use it to balance the values of pixels surrounded with the rest of the image.
I hope I explained my problem properly.
I found the solution to the problem. I used "Manipulation of pixels.
If anyone has any better ideas then please share.

How can I remove the large green battery and plug icon?
How can I remove the large green battery and plug icon? It seems pretty ugly and useless. There is already an icon of battery-plus-card used to determine the level of battery and charging status...
Moderator edit: matched subject to content.
Hi thang_nguyen!
Another alternative is to double-click the battery icon and when Power Manager opens, click on Advanced Options > Options and uncheck the box "see the gauge of Power Manager in the bar then apply stains.
To access the Lenovo Power Manager when the gauge of Power Manager is disabled, right-click on the Windows icon / energy from the battery in the bar of tasks and you should see "Power Manager".
I hope this helps!

Hearing CC destroyed a large part of my audio files on the crash
Hearing CC 2015.2.1 just crashed on me - no problem you would think - BUT it has destroyed a large part of my audio files (missing Clicks random and audio) on the crash.
Bad things first: even if I saved in iterations - it is not repairable - because he destroyed the ORIGINAL audio files that refer to all saved iterations - so no luck.
Good thing is that I have copies of backup of the shoot raw files. S ' got away with a little fright and a LOT of work to redo.
I will not use hearing again. My work is too valuable. From scratch in another audio program, because I need reliability in a professional workflow.
Sorry to hear that you have given up the hearing. I can assure you that this isn't normal behavior and that the hearing is used professionally in thousands of companies - radio, audio for video post-production stations, even on the odd Hollywood feature.
Of what you say, I doubt that you are interested in making this kind of post-mortem, but if you wanted we would be happy to try to work on what went wrong. We would need to know the details of your computer, what version of hearing you used and a description of the work flow using... i. e whether in multitrack or wave form view, what effects/changes that you have made and exactly how you saved 'iterations '.
Also, try never hearing again, this FAQ hearing crashed. Now what? gives some details on how to proceed.
Finally, I'll just mention that the hearing has an automatic backup center - you can set it to backup all of your project at some specified time interval - and you can also tell him to back up to another hard drive or even to the cloud. It certainly got me out of trouble once when a bolt of lightning nearby fried my drive hard mid session!

Removal of large panel in Captivate Workspace 8
Does anyone know how to remove the large panel in the workspace 8 Captivate?
Are you talking about the BBB, big bar of buttons on the top of the screen? It is fixed, no way to move, cut, or to hide. Customization has been screwed a lot in this version, even in Expert mode it is untouchable. Ditto for the alignment toolbar, attached to the top of the screen.

Hello
I have a table (not partitioned) transactions, in an OLTP which is always get a lot of inserts (lines 600 million per day)
1. I need to archive this table each month to the historical database (oldest months exist in the transactions table)
2 - this table is usually strongly questioned by using CONNOTE_NUMBER and sometimes EVENT_DATE
3 - queries are performing well by using the current design
What is the best partitioning can I do in this scenario that I move to GR 11, 2? It's worth (I think that it is only good for archiving)?
Here is the current design
CREATE TABLE MOVEMENTS
(
CONNOTE_NUMBER VARCHAR2 (30) NOT NULL,
PARCEL_NUMBER VARCHAR2 (30) NOT NULL,
EVENT_DATE DATE NOT NULL,
RECORD_TYPE NUMBER (2) NOT NULL,
BRANCH_ID VARCHAR2 (3) NOT NULL,
ROUTE_ID VARCHAR2 (4) NOT NULL,
EVENT_SPECIFICS VARCHAR2 (80).
LAST_TOUCH_USER VARCHAR2 (9) NOT NULL,
LAST_TOUCH_DATE DATE DEFAULT SYSDATE NOT NULL,.
UPLOADED_TO_AS400 VARCHAR2 (1) DEFAULT 'N',.
REASON_CODE VARCHAR2 (2),
ACTION_CODE VARCHAR2 (2),
TRANSACTIONS_REFERENCE VARCHAR2 (7).
RECEIVING_BRANCH_ID VARCHAR2 (4).
PRE_NINE_SERVICE CHAR (1),
THIRD_PARTY_ID VARCHAR2 (8).
DG_IND VARCHAR2 (1).
WEB_DISPLAY VARCHAR2 (1).
RELINK CHAR (1)
)
CREATE INDEX TRACK_IDX_EVENT_DATE_BRANCH ON TRANSACTIONS
(EVENT_DATE, BRANCH_ID)
CREATE INDEX TRACK_UPLOADED_TO_AS400 ON TRANSACTIONS
(UPLOADED_TO_AS400)
CREATE INDEX TRACK_IDX_2 ON TRANSACTIONS
(RECORD_TYPE, EVENT_DATE)
CREATE A UNIQUE TRACK_PK ON TRANSACTIONS INDEX
(CONNOTE_NUMBER, PARCEL_NUMBER, EVENT_DATE, RECORD_TYPE)
CREATE INDEX TRACK_IDX_3 ON TRANSACTIONS
(CONNOTE_NUMBER, WEB_DISPLAY)
ALTER TABLE TRANSACTIONS ADD)
CONSTRAINT TRACK_PK

Do you see a monthly rolloff being a problem?
Originally, my table more busy was range partitioned. As the insertion of the increased rate, so too the problem to get partition the DLL of enforcement against her instructions. Go to a State where I had a second window of zero for DOF on this table. This table was then divided into 100's as individual hash tables is no longer, the statements of the partition could be supported.
Now if there is a guaranteed window where maintenance type DDL is possible - maybe we can get away with using partitioning on a busy OLTP table. But when OLTP means inserts and transactions every second, 24 x 7, 7 days a week - maintenance DOF on this table will probably be a serious problem.
Could your other concerns be mitigated by annual creation of partitions following years? Thus, in December of 2012 create 12 partitions that will be needed for 2013. This would mean that only a necessary annual window for the maintenance operation.
With smaller amounts of data and coarse partitions, it is an option. With finer grain partitions, and tons of data, not really. Yes, you can create new partitions that are sufficient for the next year, or even two. But what you do with the old partitions that must be archived and consume space necessary for new data?
In order to maintain consumption of space efficient sliding window ito, you age and Archives old partitions (drop/truncate/drop). And cela you can't do once a year during the annual maintenance window.
Don't tell not the OLTP tables and partitioning are mutually exclusive. Simply say that he should be careful in the choice of your Oracle storage structures when it comes to paintings which gets 1000 times per second. And 600 million row inserts/day (my table more busy doing 3 x only), IMO falling into the category of the think-carefully-and-practise-safe-hex.

Best way to update an OLTP table?
Hello
We have an OLTP table with huge data.
We need to update a column of the status of "n" 'Y' for nearly 70% of the rows based on certain conditions.
This table is accessed by hundreds of sessions at a time.
So, what is the best way to do the same.
Rgds,

or simply do it. It might take awhile, but if to do... to do. -
Hello
I have a very large non partitioned table about 50 GB. I need to remove old data from the table that would be around 25-30 GB.
What I have is
(1) table a Dump Export using expdp
(2) drop table
(3) create a partitioned table
(4) import the Table data
(5) scores drop
Please let me know if there is a better way to do the same?Uhm... do a conditional export?
It should be a bit faster because you do not have to import the original table.
Bye,.

Cannot get the buttons to add or remove parts of a complex table
I have a form with tables inside tables and need to add/remove lines and swathes of the table, but can't seem to get the buttons to work. The form can be found here: https://acrobat.com/#d=aS0xCt4bzIRGqip-HBtrXg when I open the form in acrobat and try the buttons, I'm prompted to save the form, but nothing is added/removed. Finally, I need to fill out a second form with the same data, or else this table would be so complicated. No idea as to what I'm missing here?
Karl
Hello
1. your form is saved in static form.
For all / delete lines, forms need to be saved in dynamic PDF.
2. the syntax of reference for Add/Remove lines won't.
Use to add lines.
_ItemRow.addInstance(true);
or to remove lines
_ItemRow.removeInstance(this.parent.index);

Removal of the strings in a hash table
Hello to all PowerCLI'ers out there. This is what, I hope, will be an easy one for you guys.
I built a hash named $hostInfo table that contains information about our VMHosts. According to the information when displayed in a table format Name, UsedMemoryGB, TotalMemoryGB, FreeMemoryPct.
The release of "Format-Table" looks like this:

@{N = "TotalMemoryGB"; E={$_. MemoryTotalGB}} '
@{N = "FreeMemoryPct"; E={(($_. MemoryUsageGB / $_. {{(MemoryTotalGB) * 100)}} |
Sort-Object-descending - property 'FreeMemoryPct ' | Select - 10 first

Any help is appreciated as always!
-jSun311
You can create the table in the right format with just the name of the host if you change the second line of your script in:
Select @{N = "Name"; E={$_. Name.Split('.') [0]}},
If you want to change the variable $hostinfo, then you can use:
$NewHostinfo = $hostinfo | Select-Object - property @{N = "Name"; E={$_. Name.Split('.') [0]}}, UsedMemoryGB, TotalMemoryGB, FreeMemoryPct
