  • Remove the black bars on the sides of the clip?

    Hello

I am changing a clip in Prime Minister 11 elements. It is a file of 25 frames per second. I haven't shot the clip, but I was told that it was a normal life (not widescreen) video PAL. The clip looks like this when I'm editing (screenshot).

What concerns me are the two thick black bars on both sides of the clip. What are the causes, please? What is the clip was really wide and I am editing in normal mode and the best way to remove because I imagine they will be visible when the final product is show on a DVD or TV.

Thanks for the great information that points to how you create your video source.

You seem to have no correspondence between the video properties and pre-defined description of the project and still have black borders.

  • How to get rid of the black bars on the sides of the encoding to DVD PAL 16:9?

    2d778a13e40bc.png.html

You cannot fix the black bars in the elements (you can Premiere Pro)

It has everything to do with the format of the pixels. It used to be 1.422 for PAL dv widescreen. (it's not just PAL, but goes the same for the NTSC; BY different)

Adobe changed that 1.4587 somewhere around 2009.

This is why the black bars when converting HD 1920 x 1080 on card SD 720 x 576. (HD is a perfect 16:9 screen wide SD is not)

In Premiere Pro, there is a harvest to export function to correct this "question" that the element does not. (there is no point to larger scale in the timeline panel, must cut back on output)

I wouldn't worry too much on this subject, on most of the TV, you will see bars on PC.

    FEATURE request

For DV widescreen square pixels Adobe use 1050 x 576 for PAL and 872 x 486 for NTSC.

  • How can I get rid of the small black bars on the sides of the videos

I'll attach a picture below to show you what I mean. The video settings should be correct because I did drag the video in the project for a new item and again chosen sequence window.

One thing that I tried that seemed to work was in the window in the workspace where it shows the clips I edited together, I streched out a little. It worked well, but he did the same thing for all the clips. Should I just take the main clip and stretch her export and then, from there? Any other ideas? Thank you.

Or, if it isn't 1 clip you can just go to the tab control for this clip and a little scale effects.

  • Black bars on the left and right sides of all my games when they are full screen mode

While I was running a game after upgrading vista to windows 7, all the games now have black bars on the sides of the screen that looks to when you watch movies in format wide vs full screen.  What is a display problem? DirectX problem? How should I do? It gets annoying when I want to play in full screen but technically can't because of these bars.

so I think it is a problem of resolution because I could put in effect of mass of my laptop and now its full screen... I hope I tell me something on warcraft since it can go to lik 1024 x 720 lol... and I won't change my max resolution on my desk... I still think its strange that the game was full screen when I was playing it on vista with the same settings.  I guess that ill just wait for a patch or something and just in front of her.

    Thanks for the help.

  • Small black lines on the sides of the integrated video Youtube

I joined a number of youtube videos in a simple html doc. Most of them seem to be good, but there are 2 has a slight black line on some of the edges. I really need them to be crispy like the others. The video on YT doesn't have those same black lines. Anyone know how to remove these?

http://www.intellicom-analytics.com/jcuundergrad.html (The right side of the first video and both sides of the last video)

Note: I am not owner of the videos YT incorporated is not possible to change them at this end.

    Thanks in advance!

The black lines are the result of a mistake in setting the original size video/video proportions. And these line are visible in the original YouTube videos... especially a problem in the image of "post" that appears before the beginning of the video. See here:

    http://www.YouTube.com/v/y5uVqOuMdCw?version=3&autohide=1&showInfo=0

    and here:

    http://www.YouTube.com/v/na1e9uLImIU?version=3&autohide=1&showInfo=0

The lines have nothing to with your video player on your page or you can correct it by changing your Web page... the lines are part of the video itself.

To correct this problem, you must perform a new rendering of the original video file... NOT the Youtube file, but the original.

If the player holds the original aspect ration (width to height), the video will be resized to fit the dimensions of the player... but if the player is not big enough or wide enough... the black bars appear... that aren't black bars but space empty that the video did not cover. Black bars on the sides of the clip mean that the size of the screen is not big enough. Black bars on the top/bottom, means that the screen is not wide enough.

These black space "bar" can also be introduced during the editing process if the dimensions of the screen are not properly defined... which seems to be the case here video moose.

original title: my desktop image now has a big black bar at the top and bottom. How can I get rid of this?

The image filled my monitor yesterday. Today, I have a big black bar at the top and bottom. How can I get rid of this?

    1. Right-click on your desktop, choose Customize.
    2. At the bottom, click background.
    3. Finally, click on the Position of the image and choose Stretch or complete, what you prefer.
    4. Click on save changes.
If this isn't the cause, you could also do that you use the full resolution of your monitor.

    2. Make sure that you use the recommended resolution.

If you're downconverting hd to sd black bars are correct.

This is due to the 16:9 HD and SD does not quite.

  • How to get rid of the black bars on the top, bottom and sides?

I export an Adobe Premiere Pro (CS3) project that is in HD (widescreen) format. The original video is HD, the size option I have chosen for the project is HD, all that shows when I look into the window of the program. I admit I'm a bit of a first novice user, I don't need a little help to export as there are a ton of options. That's what's happening: when I export to AVI or Quicktime my project comes out with black bars all around. Not like the black bars on the top and down like when you have a large screen video exported to a size 4:3 standard, but almost like a 16:9 video, narrowed down a bit with a black box of 16:9 set around it. What the hell I am doing wrong. I'm sure this has something to do with an option on the export, but I tried messing around with the options to export about 20 different ways. I'm desperate! Please help!

    Thanks in advance!

To help you understand a little more about your problem

The reason why you have black bars on the top and the bottom of your exported image is that you placed a "small picture within a large framework.

First makes up the difference with black borders.

Go back a step... which is your final requirement for this story for example Youtube, web, broadcast, PowerPoint etc...

The answer to this determines the solution because it becomes a quality factor.

  • Black bars on the DVD encoding

I have Quicktime of 1920 x 1080. I'm encoding to DVD SD format in Media encoding. Output a black stripe on the sides. How can I remove these scratches please?

HD is true 16; 9 SD dvd widescreen is not, therefore the black bands.

If you are soul do a right-click on the file and click Export settings

On the left in the output scale hit tab to complete.

  • INCH BLACK LINES DOWN THE SIDES OF THE SCREEN OF MY LAPTOP SINCE THE INSTALLATION OF WINDOWS 7 NEED HELP... PLEASE

Ive just installed windows 7 on my copy of vista 64-bit. the thing is tho now my office is not whole screen on my hp laptop. It was fine with vista, but I am new to windows 7 and do not know what to change. Ive got two black line on both sides of my screen about an inch in size. HELP PLEASE

Right click anywhere on the blank desktop (not on an icon), and then select the screen resolution.

Under the box with the image of the screen the middle button label resolution with a value in the button X y. click on the arrow and is the slider at the top? The highest option "recommended" on this subject.

If the second answer is, the graphics card no doubt is not installed properly and needs a update driver because he did not interview the screen to get his abilities properly.

If this is the recommended option resolution corresponds to what you believe the display is capable of. Slide this setting and select apply and see if the black bars and the image fills the screen.

An LCD has a fixed number of pixels wide and high, and has a specific ratio. The standard reports are 4:3, 16:9 or 16:10. With black bars or the other side, it is very likely, the screen is a ratio of 16:9, but the graphical output is 4:3. Some stretch to fit other screens the black bands.

Any setting other than the good for the screen will produce a soft image with a loss of sharpness.
