Remove misspelled words
Help please!
I accidentally saved a wrong word/words spelled in SMS, emailing. Is there anyway to delete these words in the word list? In the future, how can I stop being so fast with my entries? :-)
Thank you

Yes, you can edit and delete words that you have added to your dictionary. Press the menu button, then go to settings > regional & text settings > user dictionary. Find the word you want to edit or delete and long press it, this should give you options to change or remove the desired word.

Pope, other than a restore like new I don't know a way. I wonder what happens if AutoCorrect is turned off followed by a forced reboot. Who would be left to zero anything?

How to remove a Word from the default dictionary of firefox?
How to remove a Word from the default dictionary of firefox?
If I wanted to remove the word 'dog' or 'and' for exampleThere may be a range of reasons for wanting to do this, including the deletion of the words you use rarely as similar to other common spellings used words for example. "minute" and "Minuet", delete the words that you find personally offensive, or removing words that, because of linguistic or cultural background, you would not consider words at all.
Note that I'm not asking how to remove my 'dictionary' words, words that I added myself.
Hello
I talked to a few people and I think I'm able to help you with this.
There are two dictionary files, the default that comes with your version of Firefox and personal 'custom' that you create yourself with phrases and words.
If you want to change the personal;
- Copy Subject: support and paste into the address bar.
- Next to the profile folder, click the marked File Show
- Find the file persdict.dat. Rename a text file, open, modify, re save it as persdict.dat and replace.
If you want to change the default dictionary, it could be more of a problem and a lot more technique to do. I would recommend that you look at the problem differently and consider filtering of pages based on inappropriate content using Add-ons such as ProCon Latte Content Filter.
I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look at another solution for you.

the cursor backup when you post a question for misspelled words
When your question in the search the slider box interrupts back or skip spaces, so the issue is full of misspelled words
The problem is whenever I used Thunderbird. A friend suggested
I could be in contact with the touchpad without realizing it. That's exactly what
I did lately. So I disabled the touchpad and it works
all right now. Had to go to BIOS to do as the function in the manual keys did not.Thank you. May soon return once again, but I hope not.

In Word 2002, how to remove a word to always document?
in Word 2002, how to remove a word permanently document?
You can delete the file through Windows Explorer system, for example to open My Documents, and then navigate to the location of the file. Right-click on the file and then click on remove. This will send to the trash, so it is not a permanent deletion. To remove the trash, open the Recycle Bin, right-click and delete it again, it will be then deleted perrmanently.
To by pass the trash hold down the SHIFT key when you click on delete. Instead of a warning while sending to the trash, you will see a warning about the final deletion.

Remove the word "Total" in row grand totals in PivotTables
Hello
Is it possible to remove the word 'Total' that appears in the line totals in PivotTables?
For example. If there are 2 columns of Dimension - year and month... and if row us totals on the year
"Total appears as * 'Total 2008' * or * ' Total 2009" * etc. i.e. each of the values is followed by the word 'Total'.
However, I would like that the totals to show only the values '2008' or '2009' without the word 'Total '.
Is this possible in OBIEE 11.1.1.5.0?
Thank you
ABHello

How to remove some words from Acrobat bookmarks?
How would I go on the creation of javascript code which removed the word "Chapter" and the number of subsequent chapter of bookmark positions?
For example, the chapters of first level in my book always print to your Favorites in this way:
Chapter 1 [chapter name]
Chapter 2 [chapter name]
I want just the bookmarks as follows:
[chapter name]
[chapter name]
For this to be a bit more complicated, I'm already using javascript that bands connecting them numbers some bookmarks. Thus, for example, some bookmarks will publish:
1.1 [name of section]
1.2.1 [name of section]
... and my javascript will change those of:
[name of section]
[name of section]
Here are my javascript classes:
function removeBookmarkPrefix (bookmark) {}
If there is no bookmarks, do nothing
If (bookmark == null) return;
Recursive function to remove the prefix to bookmark
Rename the bookmark without prefix
Bookmark.Name = bookmark.name.replace (/ ^ \d\S * \s + /, "");
If (bookmark.children! = null) {}
for (var i = 0; i < bookmark.children.length; i ++) {}
removeBookmarkPrefix (bookmark.children [i]); }
}
I want to add more code to remove the word "Chapter" and no subsequent numbering.
Add this line after the command, replace your current:
Bookmark.Name = bookmark.name.replace (/ ^ \d+ chapter /, "");

I'd been a change and then accidentally hit accept 'because' I would like to delete this word
In Vista, OE was renamed Windows Mail. You want the UserDictionary.lex file that contains the added words. It is located in the top of the page the base directory of Windows Mail messages, which can be found via Tools | Options | Advanced | Maintenance | Storage folder (the default location is C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail) or you can just search for *.lex, and then you can open the file in Notepad and find the word, then delete it. How to remove custom word replacement?
My teenage son has done something on my phone. Now, every time (on iPhone or on my Mac) when I type in a Word, it is replaced by this other sentence he typed in. There I know not how to cancel anything, he did.
I think that the purpose of the function is to allow users to say or type a word for example "home" and he be replaced with for example 'honey, I'll be home in 30 minutes"or something like that.
How can I remove this please?
Thank you.
On your phone: settings > general > keyboard > replace text > remove objectionable substitutions.
