  I have two db db_1, and db_2. I want to delete db_2.
  I was reading in Oracle Doc I have to stop the listener in the db_2 stop $ORACLE_HOME/bin/lsnrctl
  
  My listener parameter is called db_1, and this db is running.
  If I stop the listener, it it for this db_1 also stop. That I don't want.
  
  So can I remove the db with:
  
  Database Configuration Assistant (DBCA).
  
  Then remove the oracle software with:
  
  $ORACLE_HOME/bin/Yes/runInstaller
  
  Could I leave the only listener then?

  Dear user!

  I'm wrong, that you want to remove (software + database) of db_1 db_2 and leave? If I'm right then:

  1.) use netmanager to remove all the naming of your tnsnames.ora entries (it is said OrionNet).
  2.) If you have set up an entry for the listener to second (the db_2), then delete whitin netmanager.
  3.) save your networkconfig and on the command line type:

  lsnrctl reload
  

  This ensures that the listener rereads its configuration.
  4.) remove your db_2 with dbca
  5.) remove the binaries of db_2 with Yes

  • vCenter Single Sign-On 5.5 has removed the requirement for a database. After SSO 5.1 has been upgraded to 5.5 SSO, RSA data can be discarded.

  Interestingly, you will notice that multiply and divide process has been slower than an IF test. Each database is different, and benchmarking is a really, really good idea.

• How can I remove the persistent database on stand-alone simulators?

  I use stand-alone device simulators (not of JDE or Eclipse according to) to test an application on multiple platforms. In order to do some tests first-time behavior, I need to blowing the persistent data store before each new installation. In the JDE-based simulators, there is a clean.bat which does just that. However, for these simulators autonomous, that I can't find anything like that under the folder, they were installed in. I tried to reset, and I tried to uninstall and reinstall the Simulator itself, and yet the data is * really * persistent - won't go away. Of course it's stored somewhere else.

  Does anyone know how to remove all data on these stand-alone simulators?

  I use Windows Vista, 4.2.1\4.2.1.96...7130-Cingular ...\Research in Motion\BlackBerry device simulators Simulator.

  Vista virtualizes the app directory in "Program Files" when an application tries to write.

  You can find the files in your Users in AppData directory.

  Click on the C: drive in Explorer, and then look for *.dmp.

  It's probably something like c:\Users\jaybb\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\...etc...

  I don't know what his name but on win 10 / Photoshop CC 2015, whenever I have to draw a shape layer, I get a little window indicating the angle/length/width/etc, I draw.  While I don't know that it is a great tip for some people - for me it's annoying and it covers what I'm trying to see that I draw.

  On 10 of win / Photoshop CS5 - I do not have this information box.

  I looked in preferences under Interface and sliders, but couldn't find out how to turn this "feature".  (Probably because I don't know what his name.)

  How do I turn it off?  How can I disable contact information indicator bit appears so when I draw a shape layer?

  I'm a new DBA for a charity running both PS financials & HR which often must create test, training and instances of dev of our production environments. Doing so currently requires a number of manual steps to update the different nodes and paths to those required for the new instance, and naturally I did not become a DBA to do manual work ;-)
  
  I'm looking for these steps, but the schema PS script being what it is, I'm not having much joy to find where relevant data could be. If someone had a script to do something similar, or could point me in the direction of the tables, I would be extremely grateful. The kind of things that we currently do through the interface are:
  
  PeopleTools > Integration Broker > Configuration of integration > nodes
  PeopleTools > Security > security objects > Single Sign-on
  PeopleTools > Public Services > Administration > URL

  Well, it is very dependent on version Peopletools.
  An easy way might be to open the corresponding page that you speak, and then display the definition of page and the associated record. At least that is what I use to do.
  Then, update you the table background and see if she takes your new values.

  But when I see the process using ps - eaf, then it will process as (instacne ora_dbw1_OPTQA list
  ) of the deleted instacne.
  can anyone here give its inputs that why these processes are still there.
  What should I do to remove these process as I need to free up space for other databases.

  Did you remove it from the database using DBCA? also the process ID and kill-9 according to the process or restart the server.

  I am running Windows xp on a Dell computer and I recently removed the System Volume Information folder on an external hard drive after the deactivation of the restoration of the system for this drive.  I don't remember how it happened, but the said folder ended up in the trash.  Now every time that I try to empty the trash, I get an error message indicating that access to the file is denied and it cannot be deleted.  I can see the folder in the trash, but I can restore it or delete it.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  Thanks for your reply. I tried both of your suggestions, but unfortunately none of them allowed me to remove the stubborn system folder.  I had to start the computer in Mode safe, gives me full control over the folder to the trash (even though I am the administrator) and then finally was able to remove it. For some reason any Security tab does not appear when you talk about the Properties dialog box, unless you are using safe mode.

  2. What is the difference between rucheDans, origActivityIn and waitActivityIn columns of the BAM_WORKLOAD table? Can someone provide a simple example to make a difference?

  1. the BAM database receives no updates and inserts. New lines are added when occur snapshots. The inside of the engine there is a setting (usually 24 hours) to the BAM database where the outdated information (lines) are removed from the database.

  2. the "rucheDans" represents the instance number of the current instance in the process.

  The "origActivityIn" column is almost always '1 '. When he is not this, then it means that the work item instance is sitting inside a subflow activity. The number in this column represents the instance number for the work item instance inside the begotten child sub-process.

  Similarly, the "waitActivityIn" is almost always '1 '. I have never seen that everything except "1". It is not documented anywhere I know, but I think that this instance of the child process respresents who number a Message wait activity waits for a notification. This can happen when a child process is created in a parent process asynchrously using process creation activity. The child can then in turn send a notification to the parent using an activity to send the Message.
