Remove the dialogue during the closing of DIAdem

How do I remove or close the dialog box that appears when the tiara was closed if data or page layouts have been changed via SCRIPT?

I tried:

  CmdNoDialogDisp = TRUE
CmdNoWarningDisp = TRUE
CmdNoMsgDisp = TRUE
CmdNoErrorDisp = TRUE
CmdNoInfoDisp = TRUE

without success.

Hello Phex,

Have you tried to use the variable 'FileModification '?

It is accessible in the General settings in tiara dialog box in the menu. Please go to the menu "settings > Options > general...". "to change it manually, and then save the configuration file"desktop.ddd"to make the change permanent.

Of course, you can also set the variable "FileModification = ignore" in a Script to get the same effect.

Hope that helps,

Otmar

  • HP Elitebook 8740w: How can remove the text / name of the company that is displayed during the boot process?

    Hello

    I bought my work laptop from my employer. During the startup of my employer's legal name is still displayed on the splash screen ' "(the screen with the HP logo).

    -J' already started back and ran the EREPLOGO. EXE utility to remove the logo (ereplogo.exe/e). The utility said that the logo has been removed;

    -in the BIOS 'view custom logo' is unchecked, so it will not use an image of the partition tools hp;

    However, during the startup the company name is still displayed on the top of the screen... :-(

    (1) how can I change this text to start or remove it completely?

    (2) what can I do to display the specifications of hardware during startup instead of this "splash screen"?

    PS I have the latest BIOS (F.60 Rev.A, November 30, 2015)

    Hello

    I managed to change the line of text with the BiosConfigUtility64.exe.

    With "BiosConfigUtility64 getconfig:config.txt", you can write all the values in the bios and a text file with "BiosConfigUtility64 setconfig.config.txt", you can set all the values after you change the values you want to change. In my case, that I had to change the value of "property tag", which is the value that appears in the home screen during the boot process.

    Later, I discovered the tag 'property' can also be changed under the Security tab of the configuration of the BIOS (F10) normal... until I knew what the property tag, I associate the line of text to security so I did find the text before :-) field

  • Huawei has installed a malware during the installation of the drivers for the wireless modem: tips to remove the registry keys?

    Huawei sd usb storage

    Applies to: Windows | Windows Vista | Hardware and drivers

    A month before, I let a co-worker install a modem Wireless USB as Huawei to use my laptop somewhere without wifi service.  Subsequently, I uninstalled the software drivers because I don't think I'll ever use this modem again.

    Now, I noticed that there are several registry keys for different devices of e/s as:
    Huawei_sd_storage_usb
    and
    Huawei_some other drive type

    None of these registry keys can be deleted, I get an error saying that "year error occurred during an attempt to delete the key.  Same thing if I try to write data in the registry key.  This behavior resembles a persistent virus and not a register legitimate supporting a legitimate PnP device.

    I then rebooted in safe MODE, thinking which should pick up anything the malware is hung.  No go, same thing, cannot remove the key and cannot modify the data in the key.

    None of the malware scanners were able to detect this, including:
    Paid last AVG
    Windows Defender
    Microsoft Security Essential
    Spybot S & D latest
    Malware Microsoft Fixit

    I don't trust Huawei, and what look like these keys are to monitor my laptops I/O activities through any player or the USB port.

    HP DV5t-1000 CTO
    Pentium dual core 2.54
    4 GB of DDR, Home Premium Vista 64

    I'm moving your question on the forum of Windows for material and the Drivers.These are the registry keys related to the legitimate drivers provided by the manufacturer of the device and are not related to malware.

    Note, however, that you have an overload of running security software and some should be deleted. If you use Microsoft Security Essentials, you must disable Windows Defender in Vista and AVG should be removed, preferably using the AVG removal tool. I have no idea what is the Microsoft Malware Fixit.

    You should never have more than one security product installed on the PC, providing active protection / scan. This can cause performance problems, system instability and may adversely affect the effectiveness of these two products to provide protection.

  • Remove the battery during fixed power supply

    Hello

    I was told that the best practice to extend the life of the battery is to delete during fixed power supply (most of the day I'm stationary and near a power source).

    My question is, can I do this while the machine is running? Is it safe to just plug in the power and then remove the battery?

    Thank you

    Roee.

    (1) best practices to prolong battery for extended storage should be kept charged between 40 and 60%. If you want to store the battery away or leave it in the laptop will not really affect the longevity of the battery. Also, the battery can act as an inverter, which is desirable in many situations.

    You can set the threshold of support under the thinkvantage power manager-> battery-> battery care.

    (2) If you want to remove the battery, you can do in the when the machine is running or you start the laptop without the battery inserted (as long as you have connected the power supply ).

    (3) If you will be running the laptop without the battery with an adapter 65 watts your CPU running at reduced speed to ensure that it has enough power going to the laptop is another system. Only the 90-Watt adapter can provide enough power to run the processor at full speed, without the battery installed.

  • By pressing TAB removes the opening parenthesis and closing in the CSS file

    Hello

    When I type in a CSS file and trying to tab some comments along (like assistance regarding style)...

    Screen Shot 2015-10-14 at 11.53.08.png

    .. .and I click the button on the TAB immediately after the parentheses closing, for some reason, it removes the opening and closing parentheses. See the video below.

    Any ideas if it's just a preference setting or a bug?

    See you soon
    G

    It could be part of the new feature of Emmet. Tab is used in html and css files to transform the shortened Emmet fully formed html or css. It could be a part of the origin of the problem. If you do not use shorthand Emmet to create code, try going into your preferences to turn off and see if the more typical Tab function returns.

  • How to remove the warning "do you want to save the changes to investigation.pdf before closing.

    Question: To remove the warning "do you want to save the changes to investigation.pdf before closing.

    I created a file of pdf XFA (using the LC Designer 8.2) to view this issue

    I can't attach PDF file. Without attaching the pdf file, it would be difficult to explain.

    Click event js:

    function activateUser() {}
    var PDFVersion = xfa.host.variation + xfa.host.version;
    xfa.host.messageBox ("registered button click event");
    XFA. Form.Form1.sendForm.welcomeMsg.Presence = "invisible";
    XFA. Form.Form1.sendForm.successMsg.Presence = "visible";
    Event.Target.Dirty = false;
    };

    docReady event js:

    function displayInfo() {}
    var res =xfa.host.variation;//Added this line to display the successMsg
    xfa.host.messageBox ("docReady event recorded");
    XFA. Form.Form1.sendForm.welcomeMsg.Presence = "visible";
    XFA. Form.Form1.sendForm.successMsg.Presence = "invisible";
    };

    docClose js event:

    xfa.host.messageBox ("docClose recorded event");
    Event.Target.Dirty = false;

    Steps to get the caveat:
    (1) open the attached pdf using Acrobat Professional.
    (Bouton 2) click on registration to confirm.
    (3) now close the document and the Acrobat gives a warning "do you want to save the changes to investigation.pdf before closing.

    The XFA pdf summary:
    It has two text fields. DocReady event field has done this & field B is rendered invisible.
    The button click event of the field made invisisble & field B are made visible.
    Closing the pdf should not raise this warning message.

    My Efforts:
    (1) found a property in js adobe docs.
    Event.Target.Dirty = false;
    It does not solve the problem.
    (2) I tried to put this logic in almost all the events listed in the designer, but I'm not able to solve the problem.

    Please help me solve this problem.

    Hello

    Change the visual appearance is dirty the screen, before all data are actually entered in the form. I've seen this before.

    I think that the docClose event is too late to have the sale/requiresFullSave script. preSave does not either, as this is triggered after the warning dialog is displayed.

    For a test, I would put the sale/requiresFullSave script in the layout event: loan. Not the most efficient, but he should do after changing the visibility of the messages.

  • How to keep certain cookies are removed from the closing of Firefox

    Hello

    I wonder how to keep cookies some website when Firefox is closed, for example, I've spent some time on www.kongregate.com with that is a flash games site and you may suspect that I like to keep my progress of these games, for future visits, however, whenever I close Firefox it automatically deletes the files of "C:\Users\ < I > \AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash #SharedObjects\ #------assets.kongregate.com------." that file saved kongregate games and I want to keep that, anyway, I'll post a list of my privacy settings to help you help me achieve what I write here everything as 'ON' mean that the box has check and 'OFF' that is not:

    Follow-up:

    -Say the sites that I don't want to be tracked - SUITE

    History:

    -Conservation rules: use the custom settings for history

    -Always use private browsing - OFF mode

    N ' forget not my browsing and download history - OFF

    N ' forget to search and form history - OFF

    -Accept cookies - SUITE (I added www.kongregate.com as *www.kongregate.com* to the list of exceptions with the option 'Allow')

    -Accept third party cookies - SUITE

    -Keep until: I close Firefox

    -Clear history when Firefox closes - SUITE

    Address bar:

    -When using the location bar, suggest: nothing

    Options for 'clear history of Firefox closing. "

    When I quit Firefox, it must automatically clear all:

    History:

    -L' browsing history - SUITE

    -Download history - SUITE

    -Form & Search History - SUITE

    -Cookies - On (typo corrected)

    -Active connections - OFF

    -Cache - SUITE

    Data:

    -Passwords - saved offshore

    -OFF site preferences-

    -DownThemAll! History & queue - OFF (not that matters of it)

    -Data from the offline Web site - OFF

    Here's my current settings which I think should allow me to keep the cookies from kongregate while other cookies are deleted, but if this isn't the case, please tell me which options should be set at what to me keep cookies of kongregate, if it is not possible to have that then please suggest me a few extensions that would allow me to keep the cookies to kongregate when deleting others.

    Thanks in advance!

    I don't know why you wrote above: Cookies - OFF If you were clear cookies.
    Clear cookies that also erase cookies (including Flash local storage), so I have say that if cookies have been included in this list.
    That's why I posted to check in safe mode because it would be another possibility.

    To summarize:

    In case you use "clear history of Firefox closing:

    • do not delete Cookies
    • do not delete Site preferences

    Deletion of cookies will delete all specified (selected) cookies, including cookies that have an exception permit.

    Note that compensation "Preferences of Site" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, windows pop up, installation of software and passwords.

    Allow all cookies expire when you close Firefox.

    • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "Keep until the": "closing of Firefox".

    To allow an exception for those you want to keep.

    • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "Exceptions."

  • LabVIEW prompts you to save the vi during the closing of the reference

    In our application, we - open reference vi - find its executing state - the closing vi reference. In closing, LV prompts you to save the vi, how to avoid it. I can see option to activate the guest of LV, but no option to skip. 0x20 for now allows us to avoid the load dialog box.

    We appreciate your comments

    Thank you

    SAS

    Looks like when leaving the possibility to 0x0 or using any other option other than 0 x 4, should not prompt the user to save the file. But for some reason, I met the guests user to save the file... Don't know why! but I got the solution now :-)

    It will be good to know why I got the guests even for option 0 x 20!

  • Remove the boot loader of Windows or at least to set a different default charger (UEFI)

    I tried to remove the Windows boot loader or at least the value that it is the last thing in the list of shippers UEFI to try via the BIOS Acer. Nothing sticks. Whenever I reboot, no matter what bootloader, I put it, it will just reset it using the Windows bootloader and try loading something that isn't there. I deleted the windows and the recovery partitions because I don't need them.

    I installed also refined and it sets itself as the default startup at the end of the installation manager. However, as soon as I restart, something in the BIOS Acer (I guess?) is taking control and forcing the Windows boot loader entry in the first place.

    Refined and Grub, both work very well if I select them using F12 during startup, but I want one of them to be the default. How can I get this stick and get rid of the Windows Bootloader?

    I solved it! I had to turn on Secure Boot so that I can get to the "Select a UEFI file as being approved for execution" option (otherwise it would be gray). Then I navigated to the refined bootloader and grubx64 of Debian. I added the two, then turned off Secure Boot. For some reason, that they were still in the boot list priority and I could now move them upward.

    There could be pieces of the loader of Microsoft has left again, but I don't like because now the correct charger gets called first. Wheee! The BIOS version is 1.08 and I would install 1.13 anyway. It seems that only works with Windows, however, the BIOS is impossible to himself from inside the BIOS?

    Edit: Found the InsydeFlash tool. I'll try that. Edit2: Human resources management, is something closed-source they sell at ridiculous prices. So I guess I won't be upgrading the BIOS.
