  • Avoid writing empty lines or remove the empty string between data lines

    Hello

    I have this problem...  I write as a 4 x 4 witch table comes from a graph of intensity in a file. But when I write, regardless of the method that I use out it somehow unusable when I try to read more later.

    Right now I got change for a 1 x 16 table witch I later convert back to 4 x 4 again shown in the graph of the intensity.

    The problem is that I have empty lines between the data I want to remove to display correctly.

    Maybe to be clear in my explanation I will post screenshots of how I write and how I like to read...

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you!

    Antonio

    Why do you use a loop to create a string to write to the file? In LabVIEW 8.x writing on a spreadsheet file is polymorphic, so you can select the instance of 'Double' and simply connect your table 2D directly to it, without a loop or anything like that. On playback, even select the instance 'Double' for your return values exactly as you wrote them.

  • Remove the empty spaces and LF between lines in xml

    Is there a way to remove the empty spaces and LF between XML nodes?

    Let's say I

    CLOB l_clob;

    ..

    l_clob: ='

    < root >

    < name > ioerio < / name >

    < 10 > < / age >

    < / root >

    ';

    I need to get a XML in a single line without spaces and withoud LF...

    Example:

    SQL > ed
    A written file afiedt.buf

    1 declare
    2 l_clob clob.
    3. start
    4 l_clob: ='
    5
    6 ioerio
    7    10
    8

    9  ';
    10 l_clob:=replace(l_clob,chr(10)); -Remove line breaks
    11 l_clob: = regexp_replace (l_clob, ' > +)<','><>
    12 dbms_output.put_line (l_clob);
    13 * end;
    SQL > /.
    ioerio 10

    Must say, this is a strange requirement.  Most people ask how to do the reverse.

  • To remove the empty spaces without filling of browser?

    Hi all

    I'm trying to get rid of the empty space on the left and right, also some items appear suddenly in preview mode. Here are two screenshots that show you exactly what's wrong. Is it possible to get rid of the empty spaces, or is the only thing that removes whitespace a background fill? Also how can I make sure the items the same size as in the design mode, since in the preview suddenly the gray rectangle is longer than composition.

    You must use a browser fill. The monitor must have some sort of element to show or it would only show through and you would see the interiors of your monitors technology.

    If you have a site that is 960px wide and a monitor that is 1200 for example there must be something out there. That is why the filling of the browser. To choose a fill color or image file of the browser background that matches your site.

  • Cell.Contents not correctly resolve the empty strings if in excess... Is this a Bug or me?

    Greetings, Folks.

    It's driving me crazy. I can reproduce the problem over and over again. I'm missing a reason why cell.contents would be assessed differently in the case of condition in excess than no? I don't understand...

    Here is the scenario of. CS6, Win7, VB.Net (but the logic is simple so stay with me...).

    Object in question is a line of 3 cells with values in the respective cells: text, double value, double the value.

    Here's the problem. (gitc = 1 in all these test cases)

    If Not HasValue (curRow.Cells(gitc + 1). Content) then

    Here's the simple function called by the line above:

    Private Function HasValue (value as object( ) As Boolean

       If IsDBNull (value) OrElse value = "" Then Return Fake Else Return True

    End Function

    That is the problem. The code works as expected, provided that the referenced line is not in a State in excess, the object is a text value, and of two values, where the function returns an appropriate assessment. But if the line is in a State in excess, the object resolves in three empty strings ("" ") and as a result, the function returns the wrong assessment.

    Here the rub. If I lie down (or shorten) the column that puts a DIFFERENT line in the place in excess, the same result occurs to this different line, so I know that's not the values.

    Sorry for the long explanation, but I felt that it is important to give as much information as possible when you ask for help.

    Thank you very much for any help and/or an overview.

    TT

    Ah, I am a JavaScripter, but the Council is good even if the syntax is incorrect.

    The fact is that, if the cell is in excess and then its content is indeed empty. What is not empty is the subject of the text in the cell. You probably should look into it. In JavaScript is:

    myCell.texts [0] .silence

  • What is the empty string, the value null in the column, or...?

    I use Oracle 11.2, a table tb_class as follows:

    TB_CLASS (number (3) id, varchar2 (32) nm, seqNum number (3));

    1, 212
    2, "under", 12
    3, 'qq', 12

    Select * from TB_CLASS where id = 1 and n = null;... .no selected line
    Select nvl (nm) in the TB_CLASS where id = 1; ... 1 selected line

    Any know what's in the column of row id = 1 nm? I thought that it is an empty string, but why it returns no rows in the first query?

    Thank you!

    (1) in Oracle there is no difference between NULL and an empty string.

    (2) NULL is never equal to what whatsoever (including another NULL). NULL is never spotty what whatsoever (including another NULL). You must use the IS NULL and IS NOT NULL operators to search for NULL values

    SELECT *
      FROM tb_class
     WHERE nm IS NULL

    or

    SELECT *
      FROM tb_class
     WHERE nm IS NOT NULL

    Of course, it is also possible that you declare that the NM column contains one or more spaces or it contains one or more non-printable characters and not a NULL value. That's why we asked you what dump (nm) returns

  • Remove the empty space of the entry component labeling

    Hi, OTN,.

    Some components entry such as inputNumberSpinBox or date. MinValue has the integrated label attribute.
    Between the label and the component itself, there is an empty space (5px width).

    If I erase label of the component that the space still exists – it makes my page look messy.
    How to remove this space empty?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    you have the simple property = "true"; on the pane?

    I don't know, but I think that it removes unwanted space, but also removes the page label.

    In my case, I used panelLabelAndMessage container with the date inside and the label component in the panelLabelAndMessage.
    He helped me keep things lined up.

    Hope this helps,

    Kind regards

  • How can I remove the empty address book folders?

    Export and import of my collected folders and personal address, I first tried to export and import the folder "AddressBook" no address could be copied from high level, so it created new empty folders of collected and personal address on my new computer. Then I exported and imported the collected individual records and personal address from my old computer to my new computer which uses Windows 10.

    The problem is that my new computer has now two folders named collected addresses, a vacuum with a capital "A" address and another with a lower case 'a' address and two folders named personal address book, a vacuum with a great book 'B' and another which addresses has a tiny 'b' book in his name.

    I tried to delete empty folders by selecting a vacuum and by going to Edit | Book addresses to delete and left click on it, but nothing happens. The empty folder is not deleted. Perhaps thinking that they had protected the names, I tried to change the names of empty folders to different names, but failed to do so. (I change the name of a folder to group e-mail address).

    How can I delete the two folders to empty address book? If this is not possible, then how can it change their names 'Empty' to so I don't select them in the future? Thank you.

    have you tried dragging them

    or this add-om https://freeshell.de//~kaosmos/morecols-en.html

    The add-on provides an option to import and export native files of MAB. So, you can replace an address book with another. No export and import required.

    then go to your old install and locate the (PAB) abook.mab and History.mab (collected addresses) or use the add-on or close Thunderbird and replace the vacuum with a full tank.

  • How to remove the empty space between the lines of the content of a PDF file?

    Attempt to modify a document by removing lines of unnecessary operations and while that in the edition of content/tools I can easily remove the content.  The problem is who is left a vacuum and the white space and does not move the content below the space upwards to maintain the format.  I'm trying to find a way to eliminate the gaps of whitespace on a page where the content used to be. See below...

    There is no easy way to do it, as PDF files should never be edited in a way. You will need to select the items below and drag them to the top.

    Of course, the best approach is to change the format of the original file and then generate a new PDF file, if possible.

  • test for the empty string w / javascript

    Hi - quick question.

    I have a region of javascript to disable some elements on the page if they are not null. (Cannot use the State read-only in this case.)

    What I have tried is the following:

    If (valueOf(&P202_KEY_NAME1.)! = ") {}
    document.getElementById("P202_KEY_NAME1").disabled = true;
    }

    (These are 2 quotes at the end).

    This comparison will fail with an error when there is a value in P202_KEY_NAME1.

    I also tried just so (valueOf (& P202_KEY_NAME1)) ... But it always seems
    true test... even when the element is empty.

    What kind of point of reference and comparison I need here? They are elements of text.

    Thank you
    Carol

    You're using valueOf() incorrectly.

    Please look at the documentation: http://www.w3schools.com/jsref/jsref_valueOf_boolean.asp; so you'd like: var_name.valueOf)

    But anyway, valueOf really only works with a boolean object. Your agenda of the page would be an element of the string.

    Just do: if (& P202_KEY_NAME1. is 'true') {/ todo}? (edit: of course, which is, assuming that it is the value of the element of your page contains - I do not know what is in your article)

  • by comparing the empty string text box

    Here are the steps how to do it - but it does not work for me.

    http://blogs.Adobe.com/Captivate/2010/12/few-tips-on-%E2%80%98advanced-actions%E2%80%99.ht ml

    Could someone please confirm if the procedure mentioned in the blog works or not, and if it works, then which I ruin in the first case below?

    In summary, I created a variable stringEmpty and created the fast Action with condition associated with a button. I also created the variable varUserName and associated with a text box.

    There are 3 cases and 3 different behaviors.

    First case:

    stringEmpty =

    condition of the tip action: varUserName; not equal to; stringEmpty (variable)

    After clicking the button, the result is that if the condition was false (i.e. as if the string in the text box is always equal to stringEmpty)

    Second case:

    stringEmpty = aaa

    condition of the tip action: varUserName; not equal to; stringEmpty (variable)

    After clicking the button, the condition is met when the user enters "bbbbbbb" (which is OK). However, if it does not do anything, clicks only button, the condition is not met (which is incorrect behavior, because ' ' <>'aaa', then the condition is satisfied)

    Third case:

    condition of the tip action: varUserName; not equal to; CCCC (literal)

    In the third case everything is OK.

    Hello

    I did check your file and fixed by:

    • by disabling the validate user input, because no matter what name is possible
    • replacing the decision "is not equal to" by "is equivalent to" and reverse THEN and actions ELSE; Apparently, the comparison with an empty variable works very well if the audit "equal" but not for "not equal"; I don't have an explanation of deposit, but if possible always use "equal to."

    Hope your problem is resolved.

  • Can I remove the empty space in a sprite sheet

    Hello

    The auto-generated sprite sheet Flash Pro CC has plenty of empty space.

    It is blowing the overall size of the published package - beyond the limit States the ad server.

    Before I go in and reduce the devil on the quality of the individual art, a few questions:

    1. is including the sprite sheet metal required, recommended, or does not matter - in regards to mobile platforms.

    2. can I I cut away excess space in the sprite kind of worksheet.

    Thanks in advance for any advice.

    El Rey

    In mobile, I guess look at a too average web pages in the mobile browser. The sprite sheet might affect mobile browsers in two different ways. In some cases, it might take the size of the file so high that the mobile browser cannot download as a single file, but as you talk about ads, I suspect it's a small file. On the bright side, having an image instead dozens of images will speed up the loading of the page.

    The spare white space does not significantly affect the size of the file. I suspect for the work of the canvas, you could cut out the white of the left and the lower part and it would continue to operate, I'll test a few days. For WebGL work you would normally keep the image as powers of 2 wide and high, because it goes into GPU memory, and who wants that the powers of sizes 2 textures.

    You should look at tinypng.com. There you can drag your great 32-bit PNG and get one that looks pretty much the same, but it's maybe 60-70% smaller. Simply keep the file of the same name and replace the 32-bit version in your pictures folder.

  • Remove the schema from a string

    Hello

    I was wondering if there is any better way to do something like that?
    SELECT

          REPLACE(
            REPLACE(
              'SOMETHING .A .B .C Something else !', '.A',''),

    This is just one example. My real case is a little more complex. So I would remove the. A. B. C. now I use REPLACE followed by the template should be deleted and I put an empty string as a replacement string. And it does the job properly. But I was wondering if there is another way that can avoid me using 3 Replace.

    Not a stupid question at all. Assuming that you want only to remove the actual strings. A. B and. C, so it is actually more difficult than it sounds. Consdier:

    SQL> SELECT TRANSLATE(x, ' .A.B.C',' ') xlate,
      2         REGEXP_REPLACE(x, '(\.A)|(\.B)|(\.C)') rexp

    XLATE                               REXP
