  I have a pretty annoying problem. I have installed GNU Emacs and Emacs W32 some time ago, but spent to vim. However, in the menu context (context menu) for any file text (.txt, .c or .java) it is always an option called "Edit with Emacs." Now, obviously I no longer use Emacs and uninstalled several months ago. However, I can't get rid of this option in the registry. When I click on it now it opens the 'Open with' instead.

  I am creating menus personalized in the MenuBar of a VI in LabVIEW 2010 and always 1162 error when I try to delete the entry "Rename the folder of screws" on the file menu.   I think that it is a tag mismatch too. Try to run Get Menu Item Info primitive by specyfing tag item 'app_File', then make sure that the output array "tags submenu" includes a string that you assign to remove.

  I deleted a program and uninstalled completely, but the program icon always appears in the start menu.  I was not able to remove the icon. Right-clicking on the icon simply freezes the start menu for several minutes. I was able to remove from the desktop.

  Hi Kevin, thanks for responding.

  The program was the Vuze, and I managed to get rid of the icon.  By a right click and do not move the mouse and wait 5 minutes eventualy box popped up and I was able to remove the icon from the start menu.

  The solution was a lot of patience.

  I stupidly deleted my file of all programs on the start menu (by chance).
  He emptied the folder programs on the start menu through Explorer windows as well.

  I still have access to all of my programs seeking for them or through the program files. How can I rebuild my Start menu to the original WITHOUT reinstalling windows or something like that.
