Renamed: Remove WindowsOS games (Spades, Solitaire, etc..)

Hi guys,.
I have vista home premium... I accidentally deleted my system games! where can I get these games! pls guys that I need help!

Hey influential:

I assume you mean games that come "installed" with Vista - Solitaire, Purble Place, etc.  If so, you will need to add the games back to your system through Windows.

1. open the "Control Panel" on your computer.
2. open the "program and features" since in the control panel.
3. under "Tasks" in the left pane, click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
4 check the box of "Games" in the "Windows Features" window.
5. your machine should begin to install all Windows embedded games.

Let me know if it solves your problem.

You can get the old solitaire and other games back. See
    http://www.howtogeek.com/122145/what-happened-to-Solitaire-and-Minesweeper-in-Windows-8/

    See also http://winaero.com/blog/get-windows-7-games-for-windows-10/
This was written for the new Windows 10, but it also applies to the
    Windows 8.0/8.1

Also note that as Chess software, Chess Titans plays very badly.
There are several good choices like Deep Fritz and Rybka.

  • Permanently remove Microsoft games in XP Home edition?

I'm talking Internet Checkers, solitaire, etc.

I don't want to say ununstall it as components of Windows, I mean it permanently remove it from my hard drive.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

Well, this is not possible. Microsoft games cannot be deleted. Games Microsoft is integrated with the operating system and is considered as system files and therefore cannot be deleted.

  • I want to play the game of Solitaire found in the XP system on my Vista computer what I find and how to find it.

I am running Vista on my laptop but I hate the game of Solitaire in Vista and I want to play the game of Solitaire found on my XP pc. How to find the program and all the bits necessary to transfer from one computer to another? l

    Hi Dave Trickett.

Unfortunately, you can not transfer the games from XP to Vista. You may need to download Solitaire game by any third-party site. There are many available third-party site that can help you in the task.

  • SuperAntiSpyware guard remove Windows games at startup

Games on the Internet and Antispyware

I use SuperAntiSpyware which seems to work. One question was a false positive for games Internet XP so remove them from the system. They solved the problem, but the games continue to be deleted on reboot.  Someone has a answer how to solve this problem. I add the dos games using the disk pack XP S2 and they work fine until I have shut down the computer. I'm afraid that something is missing, which leads to problems on the road. I have not noticed anything so far...

    Hello

I suggest you to follow these steps and check if that helps:

    Method 1:

Disable temporarily the SuperAntiSpyware, then check if the same problem occurs. . Make sure that you enable security software back once the diagnosis is made to prevent the computer from virus attacks.

    Method 2:

Try to remove the games completely and then add the games and check that if it helps, here is the link:

    Check if that helps.

  • I can't see changes in a folder unless I go up a level and then re-enter folder, for example, create new folder, rename the folder, rotate the image etc. Can someone please?

I do not see changes within a folder, except if I go up a level and then again enter the folder, for example, create new folder, rename the folder, rotate the image, etc..

By pressing the "F5" key would probably be to refresh the folder.

See if this article helps you with this problem:

  • Removed the malware system tool, now a problem remove/repair file HOSTS. \etc folder disappears and reappears

Used MBAM to remove SystemTool, I'm prompted to delete, and then replace the HOSTS file.  I can find it in the \etc folder and delete it, but when I use the window "save under" to replace it, I have one establish a path to the extent of the \drivers, and when I click it, there is no \etc folder.  If I restore the HOSTS file and go again to remove it, there are the \etc folder.  Need to market-thru of a fool for this problem.  That's the limit of my computer expertise (or lack of same), so please remember that, in your response.

    Thank you!

This FixIt will allow you to reset your HOSTS file to the default value for Windows:

If you still have problems later, it may be that the threat is always resident (because not all active traces have been removed). I suggest that you post a topic on theForum of Malware MBAM , because experts it can interpret your MBAM log and suggest other programs for analysis that will determine if the system tool is still there or if it came with the other 'buddies' who resisted the abduction:

Here is the preliminary program to produce required, logs before posting, you must run.
