  PrE has a few effects, which might help, but an Audio editing program is much, much better. I use Adobe Audition, but the free Audacity is quite handy.

  Hello, I am using the recovery disc option, but during the creation of the third disc, I get this error repeatedly (I tried to create 4 + times now, using the same type of discs that worked well with the first 2 discs). The full error message is:

  To do this. I had similar problem and it was not entirely compatible disc-related.
  I use TDK R CD or DVD. They work great!

  I have a Pioneer DVD - RW DVR - 110 d. When I restart XP and open Windows Explorer recognizes the drive as a DVD one. But for some strange reason, when I insert a prerecorded DVD, Windows Explorer changes the designation of my drive as a CD drive and will not read my drive. It remains this way until I have restart XP. I can burn to DVD, but when it comes to their reading it won't. I thought that maybe there was some kind of hardware/software conflict, but even Mr. finest he could not find the problem. Short of re-installing XP, I don't no what else to do.
