Repeat edge pixels

Is it possible to repeat the pixels of a layer boundary? It resembled a basic filter, but I can't find an easy way to do it.

Fluid there is the push pixels tool with which I can somehow do it manually. But I hope that there is a better (read: automatic) way...?

  • Lack of Blur Gaussian in after effects CC 2015

    Hello

I am a newbie in After Effects. When I opened an AE project, I got a warning about a lack of Gaussian blur.

The problem here is that Blur Gaussian has been installed on my computer. I have looked for the effect on the effects and presets, please refer to the image.

    I wonder who is number 8 / 32 as a result?

How can I fix this or get it?

    Thank you very much.

There is a new script, which is included with CC 2017 which allows you to 'upgrade' legacy Gaussian and blurs quickly to use the new GPU acceleration to Gaussian blur effect (which includes repeat edge Pixels).

  • Capture from the noise of the adjacent area and apply to the uniform color fill... How?

    Hello

    CS6

I have a space that I have to fill it with a color that is adjacent to the area of color, that I Express and need to have with this sound of colors to another it will look artificial.

I ejecting the color and it dumped in the area I need to fill, I know there is some sort of noise from a picking area and then apply the color noise I have made by dumping the pipetee color (alt backspace) but do not remember how its done.

I don't have enough color to use the stamp tool, sometimes if you have a large space to fill with a uniform color and only a small area of the photo with this color to use, this pipette and the corresponding sound is the best way.

apply > filter > other > high pass

What parameters within which should I use, default is 10

It depends on the structure you want to 'catch '.

It goes the same for the filter > other > H Offset is 0 v 0 areas Undefined chocie of transparent value, repeat edge pixels and wrap autour (he has been on the enveloping)

To make the seams visible any setting above a few pixels should work; traditionally half liked the dimensions, but it is not really necessary to use exactly half the width and height.

  • Accident stroke multicolor where color is based on the color of the pixel at the edge

Hi and first of all sorry for the terrible title. I've been looking for a way to create something like a regular edge effect, but the color should be based on the color of the edge pixel. I need something like this because when I am doing textures for my models and put them in a game engine, I have a problem where the white lines are showing on a certain distance from my model. The solution to this problem is to add color around the islands of uv that is similar to the color of their edges. What I've done until now is put almost every island uv on a layer separate behind the main texture, so when I want to resize this layer copied it would do the trick. But this is a long process for the more than 50 models, so I thought that maybe someone has a better idea of how to approach this problem. Thank you

Do not know if this fits your needs but you can try, after performing a selection of pixels of the layer, select > modify > border, choose a couple or a few pixels and then edit > fill > Content Aware Fill. You could also simply extend the selection with Select > modify > Expand and then do an intersection of the selection with the original selection, and then Content Aware Fill, but I don't know if the additional step will buy you anything. If that works, create an Action and it in batches on all files, could speed things up.

  • Type the optimizer for Photoshop?

Hello, I want to know if all the options I can do to export a post done in photoshop with the quality of the text that I use the type optimize in illustrator. I work with digital ads and I use Photoshop to make all my ads, but the quality of the text of his never if good then when I using Illustrator...

You can try the different options of anti-aliasing for text, to see if one works better than the other for you.

    Aliasing & anti-aliasing in Photoshop:

Apply anti-aliasing to a text layer

The smooth anti-aliasing product type by partially filling the edge pixels. As a result, the edges of the type blend into the background.

Anti-aliasing, the value None (left) and hard (right)

When you create the type for display on the web, consider that anti-aliasing greatly increases the number of colors in the original image. Which limits your ability to reduce the number of colors in the image and thus reduce the size of the image file. Anti-aliasing can also cause stray colors to appear along the edges of the type. Reducing the file size and limiting the number of colors are more important, it may be preferable to avoid anti-aliasing, despite the irregular contours. Also, consider using a larger type that you use for printing. The largest type is easier to view on the web and gives you more freedom in their decision to apply anti-aliasing

  • When you draw paths, what percentage of level best to see the image?

    Hello

When drawing paths in the PS, which is the best level increase percentage to display the image? I find that 200 to 400% is sometimes useful, but sometimes 300% is too big and the edges of my selection become indistinguishable from the background. What are the techniques of zoom percentage that others use all pulling the railways?

    Thank you.

    Patrick

Patrick, the answer is that it all depends on what you're trying to isolate, how you plan to use and how fast you need to do. I will describe a couple of scenarios.

If you are knocking out 25 pictures of products, you need to go fast. Some studios will order their retouchers remain with zoom at 50% only. For general color/brightness, no drama, describing changes a form on this scale will be fine. The resulting mask will not be perfect, but it will go faster than the zoom to 100% because you will be with less detail.

If you need a little more precision, zoom and more. So the question is: where to place the path on the edge of the element you want to isolate.

If you plan to break the clip from the bottom, then place the path inside the border of the element. As long as you're fairly accurate, the fact that you can cut the edge pixels will be not easy for the Viewer to the end. It's better, because you can trim off the coast, say, clothing fabric in excess and idealize shape more. When hit against a new background, the shape will be better and no one will notice that you have trimmed it anyway.

If you plan to keep this element in their existing background environment, you have to be more specific. As you say, you could perform a current zoom 100%. I'll generally not much past plu 150% because we always need to take a view of the overall shape, the forest from the trees so to speak. In this case, you'll want to put the path in the pixel areas liminal along the edge - right between where you see the transition of the element edge pixels and the background. If you make dramatic changes hue/lightness, you will need to massage the mask edge later to reduce the edges that appear.

And don't forget to put a small feather on the resulting mask is always the key.

Hope that helps, check out my blog if you are interested to learn more about the techniques of cutting, I'll post some in the future.

  • Follow-up of the object? Selection of objects?

Hi guys, sorry for the manufacture of wire of noob-like and whatnot. This issue contains two Photoshop & Illustrator. Google my problem now, I would say if I could, but the problem is, I don't really know what terms to use!

So my question is this: how one makes a selectable object like this? What is still called by this technique? Follow-up of the object?

    Screenshot 2015-01-19 15.27.29.png

When I'm compiling catalogues together, whose objects are like that really makes it easier (especially with the alignment). Currently I use Photoshop, background removal and have saved them as PNG, but these guys (the company) that we sent these photos of product) had as EPS format.

When I open these files in Photoshop:

    Screenshot 2015-01-19 15.27.35.png

Instead of "Layer 0" (what I usually get with the png) the product belongs to the layer "background".

Any advice on how to get the same result? What's his name? What are the advantages of doing this as opposed to simply remove the bottom, making the area around the transparent object and save as a PNG file?

    Thanks in advance!

If it's a sort of targeted print and the web not exclusively I recommend at least to use psd instead of png.

EPS with Clipping Path is an option that allows to avoid transparency and the resulting problems in page layout applications.

Of course there sense with sharp images of sharp hard objects.

But in my opinion, it is a sign of a lack of understanding when people create a shadow and also fill a selection reversed on this basis, with white, because it does not damage to the edge pixels.

  • How to stop the desaturation on the edges of the brush

When you use the brush in shade mode it desaturates and reduces the brightness of the edge pixels.  It is very annoying when you try to change the color of some elements of the image.  If you release the button of the mouse and then continue to apply the tint, it leaves a visible line on the edges of the earlier application of tint.

An example is the linked image (enlarged to 700%).   The idea is to change the original red color to blue.  The first use of the brush works very well, but as you can see, on the use of the second when he rides the first application, it leaves a border of pixels that are darker and desaturated.

How this behavior can be changed?

    http://I41.Tinypic.com/30datlj.jpg

    Hi again.

I also have dark rings and runs at 100% hardness. It's just not as noticeable.

I think it's caused by the way anti-aliasing of the brush stroke interacts with the hue in blending mode. Hue creates a result color with the luminance and saturation of the base color and the hue of the blend color. When you make your first brush stroke, pixels from anti-aliasing at the edge of the brush stroke will have different values than the pixels of basic original or the pixels inside the race. A path overlapping later will interact with the new pixels base created by the first shot. The result is dark or rings of tracks on the edges of the strokes that overlap.

So if you really think about it, the tool behaves as expected. Maybe not an ideal behavior. But quite understandable. Long story short, I don't think that the behavior can be changed.

R Kelly's suggestion works because the brush does not change the values of the pixels of the base layer. And is probably the best solution.

    Peace,

    Lee

  • Drop shadow effect is not visible

I use CS4 for Windows and I have several great books for her, but I'm still fighting fill a simple shadow on the picture effect. No matter what I try to use the fall simple shadow fx or suggestions complex building several different layers, I never see the final effect on the photo. I even click and uncheck "Preview", but it makes no difference. The photo displayed in the window of my CS4 continues to look like the photo when I first opened it. Am I supposed to flatten layers or somehow bring together them into a single layer?

    I'm puzzled.

I'd appreciate any help. I'm sure I'm doing something completely ignorant, but I'm willing to drive me crazy to finally resolve this issue.

    Once again, thank you.

    Kind regards

    Bob

When you have 'created' the canvas, did you actually go to the Image-canvas size and expand the area of the canvas, or just fill in an area around your existing image with white?

You must understand that the shadow appears outside the edge pixels of the layer, so if your image is taking up all the space of the canvas, the shadow will drop simply fall outside the visible area. Try to make a new layer and fill in a little box with any color, then apply the drop shadow effect, and you will see that it is not the edge of your box. The shadow on your image layer is applied the same way.

  • Computer crashes and repeated pixels to display on screen

I have a laptop HP 3 years (windows xp) that was freezing after use of one hour of Pandora on firefox (sounded like he was constantly running all the time).  It got progressively worse (more frequent and longer periods of time) and a gel started toward the top with internet explorer, even with no pandora.  Now, I can't use the computer for more than 10 minutes before it freezes.  Gel = no key functions and repeated scatter of the same pixels on the screen.  I'm a little computer-illiterate, can someone tell me if this is a hardware problem or potential software and if there is anything I can do about it?  I have a feeling if I try to reformat it won't get anywhere before it crashes again.

  • screen black pixel edge cushion

There is a cushion edge a all parts of my many (black) pixels display. I saw how to adjust it once, but now can't seem to find it anywhere.

I know how to do it?

There is a cushion edge a all parts of my many (black) pixels display.

If the screen has a native resolution (1366 x 768), the black along the outer edges are not pixels. Display area ends just where you see, and it can not be adjusted. I suppose you want the bezel plastic screen to go right to the edge of the display area? That has to do with the dimensions of the physical framework, not a display setting.

  • Animation of edge of DPS: always pixelated?

    Hi, people

I did my first movie of very simple animation with typography in Adobe Edge Previev CS 6.1. Everything is OK, but... I start with illustrator with SVG files. When placed in InDesign (in file *.oam), downloaded (PDF format) with DPS and displayed in the content Adobe Viewer, it is pixelated.

I know that overlays are generally pixelated but I got the idea (apparently bad?) edge animations have been processed in a different way and that they were not always rasterized.

So the question is: Y at - it anyway I could place a DPS animation so it's not pixelated. I mean: place a PDF file retains their vector hardeners in DPS and they look great at any size. Is it not possible yet with the animations? (It will never be in a near future?).

    Thank you very much

  • Bad Pixels on edge Verizon iPhone

Can contact Verizon support on this topic, I wanted to check here to see if anyone else had an experience or thoughts on my question in particular.

MY iPhone 6 s more has what appears (to me) as spots of a gray, oily substance between the glass and the screen to the upper left corner. It is possible that they are bad pixels, but I doubt it because this kind of thing tends to develop sort of a line or pattern, it's not. I don't understand how something could possibly have gotten under the glass, but never the less, this is what it looks like to me. Does anyone else have this problem?

MY main question is that, if I had in mind my phone via Apple iPhone Upgrade Program, it is covered by the AppleCare. Rental through Verizon does not offer that. It would be a manufacturing fault that Apple would have to resolve themselves, without paying me anything? Or is my only choice to buy just a replacement myself? It is currently not annoying me too, but if it has developed a lot, I'm slightly worried that the problem may increase before my next update. I ask only because they don't really look like a problem with any aspect of the pixels for me. The stains seem to

always just add a few gray to what color it is displayed. If it's blue, it looks like a blue spot more dark than the round him, on white, it looks just Gray, so unless someone knows a case where pixels have changed color, rather that just display a completely different color or no color at all, I'll go with my suggestion of oil as the source of the problem. Technically is not a manufacturing defect, but technically, if made right, nothing of should be able to obtain remarkable screen and glass that is laminated. Unless the iPhone screens are not glued together as all other screens.

Despite the use of leasing Verizon, Apple still manages warranty issues. If there is a fault in the device and identifies the Apple, they could replace the unit. FYI, bad pixels don't have to follow any type of model. Make an appointment at the Genius bar at the Apple Store nearest to have the material examined by Apple and they will explain your options.
