Replace all English win 10 French Win 7 Ultimate

If I buy a version in French of Windows 7 Ultimate, can I change it to English and then he move to only English Windows 10?

You can use the product key Windows 7 Ultimate to perform one in place with the help of an English Windows 7 Pro install media.

You will not be able to run a language upgrade cross-10 English Pro of Windows, from Windows 7 Ultimate French, though. You must perform a custom installation even if you have the language pack installed, in fact, you must uninstall the language packs prior to any upgrade to Windows 10.

  • Once for all, I'll be able to transfer to a new PC or not? Retail Win 7 Ultimate to win 10

    Hi all!

I spent most of my night navigation on these boards, trying to find an answer to this question and found tons of answers, many condradicting between them and some even condradicting the EULA, so I'm stuck. I'm to the point that I think I know the answer but I havn't really got confirmation.

    Heres so the deal:

I havn't improved again and I plan to do more, but... this computer is starting to become old enough and I'm planning for a new build soon enough, don't expect that adequate material being released, Pascal ftw!

I don't want to upgrade my Win 7 Ultimate retail to win 10 just so he can be locked on this current computer specification, so I just keep my Win 7 cause frankly it has served me very well, but if there is a chance that, after upgrading my license will be mobile to my new future computer (that I will be buying in the coming months) , then that is a leap of faith, I feel I must take.

    Thus,.

IF I go now, I have 2-3 months will be able to use a bootable USB key with a Win 10 on my new computer image (after wiping this computer ofcourse) and everything will work?

In view of the many questions on this subject, I suspect you educated people are pretty tired of that question now, but please bare with me and give me some closure, I'm literally pulling my hair :)

    Kind regards

    Fredrik

reinstallation of the system for the media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

  • Manager of recovery, recovery of factory default setting will replace all deletions that I had bad sector?

Hello, I am curious of recovery manager and what he does.

recently, I had my old hdd removed due to the increase of bad sectors. I tried using the recovery dvd system I orderd from hp website, but it does not work on my new hard drive, so I had to clone my old hdd to use. while I was with the old hdd I had to run chkdsk a lot and I've seen little of window/systm /... listed as problem and it was removed (?).

I want to assure you that my new hard drive has no problem after recovering to the factory setting. (I chkdsk raned before I clone my old hdd)

Recovery Manager replace all of these bad sector remove I saw on chkdsk?

    @Forblindmice ,

Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  The recovery will not recover the lost areas.  All the data that has been lost are lost unless you run with some special type of recovery software, and is not always a win.

Once you have a bad sectors unless you use a type of equipment at low level software format to remap sectors that they will always be there.

What I would do is pull the drive and put it in another computer and get all your data off it.

Once you get what you can out of the drive, then you can see if there is software out there to low level format and then try to get HP support by phone recovery media to reload your operating system.

I would consider replacing the drive so.  If you start getting bad sectors, it is usually mechanical and will result in a total crash some time soon.

  • Disable the Win 7 Ultimate Upgrade before installing on another computer?

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion dv5 the cam, e with Win 7 Home Premium. I'm walking the OS for Win 7 Ulitimate.

Now, I'll sell the dv5 and want to install the Win 7 Ultimate Upgrade on another computer. I need to disable the Win 7 Ultimate license upgrade, or do I just restore the dv5 back to factory condition using the recovery disk.

And then just install the Win 7 Ultimate Upgrade on another computer?

You are the very welcome, Mike.

If you obtained a retail product key, you should be able to install W7 Ultimate on any other PC.

If you don't have a Microsoft account or a link where you can download W7 Ultimate once again, then you can get it here...

The tool also performs the bootable media.

Make sure that the size of the ISO file you get is that the download site indicated that it was.

Sometimes the download says "complete", but it wasn't and you end up with a partial file, which will not work.

The machine was bought with XP Ultimate and updated fall last to Win 7 Ultimate (without any difficulty and necessary, wipe the hard drive.)

I do not have a hibernation file and tried to delete a file without success.

Someone at - it any other suggestions?

    Thank you

I had the feeling that it was something like that. :-(

Of course, I can do a re-install and my data are presevered on a network drive, etc, but it's several days of work to install all my programs and data. I wish there was a shortcut.

The unfortunate aspect is that I "just followed directions" on the CD Win 7 Upgrade and the question is how to prevent that from happenoing yet once and where can I find the time.

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to computers, I just have a question. Can I switch from 32-bit Win 7 Ultimate to a 64-bit version, I do not have the CD right? Thank you very much.

You can upgrade, but it will be a "Custom" / Clean install because there is no direct path from a 32-bit OS to a 64-bit version of Windows. "" See detailed information on getting a 64 Bit DVD and installation procedures below the dotted line.

What this means is that you will need to re-install all of your applications and make a backup of your data (Photos, music, Documents, Etc.) files before start you.  I also suggest that you create an image backup of your existing installation of 32-bit as safety net.

You will also need to download 64 bit versions of the brand device drivers your computer and model number. Install the drivers once the upgrade has been completed, starting with the chipset driver and then install the drivers, SATA, USB, Audio, LAN, or the Internet, wireless.
