• Hide or crop part of the background image

  I am currently studying in master suite CS4. In InDesign, my background image is bigger than my canvas size (more bleeding). How to hide or reframe the portions of the image that go outside of the canvas size? I know it must be simple, but I'm just not see it.

  Do you mean bigger than the page? Or pasteboard? If this is the page, just use the black arrow to move one edge of the worms inside the frame. The content will still be there, but the part of it will be hidden. If it is larger than the editing table that I don't know, because I assume that you will not see the handles. Harvest before placing them?

  I don't know how beginner, you are so I hope that makes sense...

  Here's a quick rough pass.

  Briefly:

  (1) I made a selection of the wall next to the woman, about the same size

  (2) CMD - J to make a new layer copied the selection

  (3) use the move tool to place the new copy on the woman

  (4) edit-> transform-> Perspective to change the perspective of the copied layer so the points align properly (this could use some fixed work)

  (5) use an exposure adjustment layer fixed the copy to change the brightness of the top copy (the wall on the right is brighter)

  (6) use a mask on the layer of exposure setting with a very broad brush with low flow to create a rough through the copy gradient, so that the light in the dark transition is more natural

  (7) clean the edge of the copy using the healing brush and Spot Healing brush

  

  I hope that this help a little, there are obviously other ways you can go about it. I found the books by Martin Evening and Jeff Schewe's photoshop to be very helpful when learning first PS.

  Notice how the header sections, cursor and stretch with the site I have to zoom out. That's what I want to be able to do with my site. Any suggestions?

  So basically, you want to create 100% width items. Do you it by developing a rectangle or a block of text in Design view, until it aligns with the grids of the browser area. For images, you can create a rectangle of width 100% and complete an image of tile inside. • How to set the background of a button fully

  Hi, I have a ButtonField whose background I want to change to red. However, citing setBackground (BackgroundFactory.createSolidBackground (Color.DARKRED)) would change only part of the background of the button where the text.

  I tried instantiating a VerticalFieldManager, change its red color and then add the button, but nothing is helping. The Manager has different syle of border as ButtonField, and he ended up layering in its context on top of the ButtonField. This method works well for the EditField but not ButtonField apparently.

  Does anyone know a good workaround solution? Thank you very much.

  Oh, I should have looked at the code more carefully. I think that the substitution of the paint method as you hear could solve everything. I have tried the paint method substitution, but abandoned quickly when the setColor() did not work as I expect quite. I'll try the fillRectangle method and see if it would draw the whole background. • Keyboard in the background focus

  In Linux I can set upwards so that the window of the mouse flies over has keyboard focus, but is not in the foreground is anyway to do this in Windows?   1. Re-open in Illustrator, select the item and see the attributes Panel.
  2. Uncheck the overprint Stroke.

  Is there an easy way to have multiple objects to be part of the background? For example: say I want a solid blue background with clouds on blue. I could make a giant image (but this would be the load slowly), or I could place the clouds on the background where I would like it, but this would result in a horizontal scroll bar to appear because the objects are outside the body. As a workaround I could add code to remove the scroll bar, but I was wondering if there is a better way. Is there a way to tell muse that they are objects of the background?

  If the clouds and sky are photographic images, you can probably use a single combined image and use save for Web in Photoshop with a quality setting JPEG very low to get the image less than 100 k (given the nature of the blur of a background image of the sky and clouds).

  If the graphics are cartoon or line art, then JPEG will probably introduce too much compression artifacts. If this is the case, according to your design, you can "attach" the clouds. Pinning will cause them to not scroll with the content of the page, which may or may not be desirable. The reason why I suggest pinning is that added items are removed from the "page content" and then does not cause a horizontal scroll bar appears.

• Photoshop - how to assign the background color transparent?

  I use Photoshop CS5, and I have a black and white drawings to the trait (wiring diagram).  I want to put transparent white background in order to make schematic lines and paste them on a colored background.

  Blur

  Specify a value, in pixels, for the blur of the shadow.

  Angle

  Specify the angle of the shadow.

  Distance

  specify the distance, in pixels, that the shadow should be displayed.

  After watching your video, I can tell you that it will have very little effect.  You place a point box high above your URL in the address bar and setting a default blur in the highlight box.  The default setting for transparency on the highlight box is about 20%.  So no effect would be visible to 20% anyway.  In addition, applying a blur to the area highlight won't do anything to the URL under.

  In your video, you follow the steps you described in your previous post where you actually edited part of the background image using filters rasterization of SnagIt.

  The effect of the blur filter work in Captivate, but you must use it properly, and we must recognize that it does NOT in the same way as in SnagIT or other graphic editors that allow you to select an area of a chart to be modified by the blur.  In Captivate the blur effect is performed using CODE during execution and is applied to the entire OBJECT.   If you want to really see a blur of Captivate in action, add a text caption on the screen and then apply the Filter Blur even than.  When you publish, you will see that the legend of all the text is quite effectively blurred.

  But this blur effect is actually a filter applied to the SWF when running.  You can not use just of SnagIt for just enter the URL in your address bar, and then import the URL entered in a graphic file in Captivate, apply a blur filter light to make it unreadable and then copy and paste this image to merge with the background.  This approach does not work.  That is why we have suggested that you apply the blur or pixelation with SnagIt first and then import the chart updated the Captivate to apply on top of your URL.
