  Hi all

  I wrote a javascript that uses various find/change GREP and text to copy text from the first two paragraphs of a document and use them elsewhere (in the head of the race and feet), and now I want to delete the first two paragraphs. Not sure how I would do. If I was doing a search/replace manual (with nothing selected) it would automatically choose the first para in the first text box, but when I run the following:

  app.findGrepPreferences.findWhat = "^.» + $» ;
  app.changeGrepPreferences.changeTo ="";
  app.activeDocument.changeGrep ();

  It is all the records and removes them. I was going to include the code twice; once to remove the first paragraph, then again to remove the other (first new) paragraph. My JS skills are weak, but I'm very uncomfortable with GREP. Can someone point me in the right direction for how I achieve what I want? If I made a loop for surely I would just do the same thing but more than once!

  Much to my surprise the rest of the script works even if it hurts my brain!

  The command 'changeGrep' is a 'change everything' - there is no equivalent of the buttons "change, following" and "find next".

  Normally, all that is necessary is to remove the first paragraph of a story asset is the following:

  myStory.paragraphs [0] .remove ();

  (and I'm sure you can work, because you are already copying him) but just for fun, you can try this solution Pure GREP:

  app.findGrepPreferences.findWhat = "\A.*\r";

  Once again replacing it with nothing.

  (It is preferable to use the function 'delete', however).

  I searched for a way to show the amount of changes here?  My script to find and replace is working however, I would like to see if there are changes 0 or 100 so that we know how much if any of the corrections have been made.  Basically, I want to show him the same type of information as the (Native find replace in Indesign).   I saw a pod cast with richard harrington straps name in photoshop with an alpha channel. Ive doen this a few times and am careful with the result, but now I want to make a music video animated that I can import into final cut pro and use a strap of name. is this possible?

  Ive tried to export only the channel alpha and Ive tried rgb + alpha but cannont get FCP to see as it dose with the photoshop files.

  There are tutorials out there? If anyone can help.

  If you use a codec that supports alpha (few do) FCP threshold see. You may need to change albums how FCP interprets the alpha, which sometimes flag is lost. Animation and ProRes4444 carry the alpha.

  Hello, I have a VI with Express.vi dialogue file, and when I wire a default name with a lot of characters in only the last characters are displayed.

  I don't see it mentioned in the LabVIEW 2013 1 MS (version I) bug list.

  I am running windows 7 on a 64-bit computer.

  I see no mention of this in other posts but nothing saying they're trying to fix it.

• Licensing issue? I need to replace the default motherboard with a 'Detail' education Vista Ultimate Upgrade on top of XP "OEM." Can legitimately transfer my license everywhere and how?

  I am currently a computer on which I already installed XP OEM and upgraded to the edition upgrade Vista Ultimate retailers through the ultimate steal Microsoft.

  The problem I have is that I've recently updated my graphics card to a card of Nvidia 7300GS card Nvidia GT240 on which my motherboard was properly assessed. However, due to some unfortunate circumstances (I dunno if it's associated graphics or an electrical surge problem, I suspect the latter as the card is fine) my PCI Express slot is fried! This resulted in the motherboard being unable to start any card in the PCI Express slot and gives a series of BIOS beep error codes. I even dug my old graphics (7300GS) and he was still unable to boot. Accordingly, I need to replace the motherboard for the PCI Express slot works if I use a graphics card.

  This message is displayed because the specified file has an invalid security ID. Each file on a NTFS or FAT volume has security what ID assigned. The ID assigned to the data file does not match the ID assigned to the security data stream file ($SDS). There is a mismatch of Ids. CHKDSK replaced the invalid security ID.

  Black screen with cursor may appear due to corrupted display driver.

  Asuming LIBL_x columns have the same type or a base at least type

  then the changes above can help you.

  In addition, you can write your cursor loop in a loop "for i in (select...)."

  you don't need to write that match the code, but it is cosmetic.

  If I cancel my change (i.e. I have remove the frequency control knob and turn it over to the control of the example, it works perfectly.)  I get the waveform is displayed in the oscilloscope.

  My goal is to simply use a frequency and duty cycle control knob.  How can I achieve this?

  There are two things to do.

  What I think you did now changes the scale of the handle.

  You will also need to change the values that are allowed to enter. You will do on the data entry tab in the dialog button properti.

  Uncheck the 'use default', the Minimum value limits and Maximum identical to your balance.

  Value "Response to value out of range" Coerce to both Minimum and Maximum.

  I recently migrated from LV2011 to LV2012 and I have a problem with the dialog file Express vi. It seems, that in LV2012 the Windows dialog box that appears after invoking the file dialog box, adjust the default name to 14 characters (or rather the chain moves to the left so the first x characters are hidden). Please see screenshot attached screen and VI. It's OK in LV2011 (have tested the same code yesterday on another PC with LV2011). Is there a solution or the solution? This is a minor bug, but given that my application is distributed to a customer who pays it mind rather

  Your VI not exactly help me with my code, but it helped me to find the path . Unfortunately, when I used your VI, the behavior was exactly the same as with the file dialog box. But I noticed that it works only when I select 'create' to the function input terminal (with "create or replace" or something else I've known the cutting chain).

  Then I tried to override the setting of file express VI dialog box of 'New or existing' on 'New' with this setting, the file dialog box works very well (and there seems to be no difference between 'New or existing' and 'New').
