  The problem was, as I installed it and not a certified HP Tech, the new motherboard was not entered in my system for a lack of a better term! Look at my personal tech for all the info he needed and had it fixed in less than half an hour! Before that, I did follow your advice and update my BIOS nothing helps... but at least it is updated!
