    Please, help me to replace a character not allowed of a given string. Allowed characters are

    If a character in the specified string is not in the list above, which should be replaced by a space. Can you please help me to do with REGEXP or in any other way.

    Thanks in advance!

    In my previous solution the dash (-) in the second row replaced with space. That shouldn't be the case. This is because the brackets, hyphen is considered operator of range as [0-9]. So I moved the link to the last to solve the problem.

    '\0xe9' is not a character. It is a 5 string. Hexadecimal E9 = 14 * 16 + 9 = 233 thus publish:

    replace update set col1 = tab1 (col1, chr (233), 'e');

  • REPLACING THE CHARACTER FROM THE RIGHT.

    Hey everybody,

    The replace() function replaces a character "." from the left by default.

    var txt:String = "2.5.";

    If (txt.indexOf(".") == 1) / / aid (txt.lastIndexOf(".") == 1) does nothing.

    {

    txt = txt.replace(".","");

    trace (txt); 25.

    }

    There must be a simple method to replace "." from the right so that the vectorised result is "2.5".

    If the point is always the last tank:

    txt = txt.replace (/ \. $/, "");

  • InDesign CC Grep find/replace to replace the character of space per paragraph (fly)

    Hello InDesigners,

    I'm trying to clean up a 99 page document. In the file, titles of chapters, in capital letters, followed by a space, which is then followed with text more uppercase there. This always occurs at the beginning of a paragraph.

    I'm trying to target the space character that appears just after the number of chapter and Exchange to a number (fly).

    For example:

    CHAPTER 22 SUNDAY UNDERGROUND

    I want the Grep to change this as follows:

    CHAPTER 22

    SUNDAY UNDERGROUND

    I know that to do this job, I need to use positive look behind and positive Look Ahead, at first, I just tried to isolate CHAPTER 22 using the following:

    ^ \u{2,}\s\d+

    It worked. However, as soon as I cut and paste into P.L.B., find/replace says that it does not match.

    (?<=^\u{2,}\s\d+)\s

    The culprit seems to be the comma that comes just after the number 2. If I take, I get a match, but just not the one I wanted.

    Why P.L.B. does not accept the comma as part of the range in my definition grep?

    (FYI, I prefer to use wildcards with a specified scope, rather than literal text).

    It is indeed the comma, and the reason why it does not work because the flavor of InDesign's GREP does not allow a variable length argument in its lookbehinds. And the construction "has {x, y}" indicates a variable length.

    "Chapter" only you know how many characters to uppercase, and even the exact text, you can use

    (?<=^CHAPTER>

    the first chapters to a number, then

    (?<=^CHAPTER>

    for the rest. In your version of InDesign, I guess there is also a possible solution with the fairly new \K "forget - me" operator but I have not yet enough experience with that. It should look like this:

    ^ \u{2,}\s\d+\K\s

    but you will have to experiment a bit to see how to work with the replacement string.

    In addition, you should only use the name of "fly" for a character that looks like this: "¶". The code that you insert will call it a 'return' or 'paragraph return. Initially, I took your question literally, and it sounded as if you were after this result: "CHAPTER 22 ¶ SUNDAY UNDERGROUND"

  • Replace the battery. Reference Dell 6248

    Hello!

    We have a set of three Dell Powerconnect 6248 switches.

    One of the switches must be replaced with the new one (same model).

    the well known "pwcnt_stacking_switches.pdf" document does not say how to replace a member of the battery,

    just how to add additional, or to remove switch a.

    It is said in the documentation for the 3524 powerconnect switches:

    Exchange of stacking of members
    If a member of the stack with the same unit ID replaces an existing UnitID with the same ID of the unit, the
    the previous device configuration is applied to the inserted stack Member

    Even apply to 6248? This approach works?

    How a stand-alone switch can be prepared to be added to the stack as some number of particular unit (excluding implementation stack-port mode battery)?

    is it

    Renumber (conf) #switch

    ?

    Yes, guess I replace unit Number or number 2. (out of three)

    Once I have remove the old unit 2 and insert a new one, the new switch will get UnitID = 4.

    After I using renumber

    switch 4 renumber 2

    He will get all the previously attributed to the old switch 2 port configuration?

  • Character Limitations reference comments Section.

    I launched a campaign this morning where I pass a reference to Salesforce for action by our front-line staff.  The comment on the referral contains 215 characters and spaces.  The comment is truncated in Salesforce.  Can someone tell me if there is a limitation on the number of characters and spaces, I can move on to Salesforce via the comments section of Eloqua reference?  The limit of Salesforce is 550 characters, and spaces.

    Well, I can answer my own question.  The answer is 100 characters and spaces can be transmitted in the field comment from Eloqua for Salesforce.  The limitation is the side of the equation from Salesforce Eloqua can accept 550 characters, and spaces.

  • Find/replace a character between 'any number'

    Greetings

    I'm working on a long document in Norwegian that contains many numbers with decimal places, like this: 45.3

    However, in Norwegian, is the correct way of separation of decimals with a comma, like this: 45.3

    What is the best way to find and modify all instances of this?

    I tried a text search using ^ 9. ^ 9 (any digit. any number) who works in a way. The problem changes the results so that I keep the numbers, but change the period to a comma.

    Obviously I can't just look for a period, because they are everywhere...

    Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

    Hey!

    You can do it with GREP find change:

    Hope that helps.

  • Scripting - reference control Replace inside the flat sequence

    Hello

    Just in the process of upgrading our software from 8.6 to 2011. A question that we have is references appear to be different to the old code. Example - if we create a new control reference, put it next to the old one, put a probe on the two, references do not match when we run the vi.

    This causes havoc with our very large amounts of code. We contacted OR that our support subscription and they required an example which we can really give.

    In any case...

    I thought that I would write a vi script to replace all old references of our code with new references.

    Problem is that I can't replace a control easily reference which is inside any kind of structure.

    I need a way to get a reference to a parent structure, I can then add to the structure.

    This will take place on large amounts of complex code, so there need to be versatile. Please see the attached Vi

    Thank you

    Joe

    I would like to make the following changes:

    • You'll want to use the 'Move' method, which allows you to specify an owner.  In this case, the owner is the schema that belongs to the original control reference.

    • You want to get the original order wire and get all its wells (i.e. not null index into the array of terminals), so that you know what to wire the new benchmark in control of.  That is why the Connect wire method is in a loop For... the original control reference may have wired to several objects.

    Let me know if you have any other questions.  As far as I know, all properties/methods that I am using the code above are available in LabVIEW 8.6.

  • How to replace text in a file

    Hello world

    I have a txt file and it has some data. Specifically, I want to replace a character in the text file. Data will be like this.

    TT = 15
    S1ST = 21601
    S1EN = 50400
    S2ST = 50401
    S2EN = 72000
    S3ST = 72001
    S3EN = 21600
    GNST = 00000
    GNEN = 00000
    S1B1S = 22800
    S1B1E = 23400
    S1B2S = 28800
    S1B2E = 30600
    S1B3S = 36000
    S1B3E = 36600
    S1B4S = 45000
    S1B4E = 46800

    In the 2nd line e.g. S1ST = 21601, I want to replace 36000 instead of 21601.

    After replacing the specificity, data should replace in the file, or add the file will also be ok for me.

    Give me a suggestion. I use LV 8.2. So please post your code in ver 8.2

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

  • Reference FPGA broken son

    Hello

    I use a Subvi to pass some parameters from the host to the FPGA using the function "read/write control."

    The Subvi takes a "FPGA reference In" as the input and provides a "FPGA reference Out" output.

    The problem is that whenever I have a few changes to the FPGA code (for example, I change the type of an input/output), the wires entering the Subvi are marked as broken since the reference FPGA has changed.

    Now, I know that I can solve the problem by opening the Subvi, right-click on the FPGA reference and configure it. But this must be done manually and I want my Subvi to automatically detect any change.

    Is it possible to do?

    Thank you

    Dragis says:

    You can create a typedef and to use this type for your subvis controls/indicators. You will need to manually configure the typedef, but at least, just do it in one place.

    You need to manually configure the FED type.  You need create the def type once and replace all your existing references with her.  Then on the block diagram, find the function of reference FPGA VI open and right-click to set it up.  At the bottom of this box, you will see an option "Bind to Type Definition".  Check, then enter the path to the type definition, that you have created.  Close the dialog box.  The type definition will now automatically update to reflect changes to the FPGA VI.  See:ttp://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371599E-01/lvfpgahosthelp/fpga_using_subvis_in_host_vis/ for more information and if you use a LabVIEW 2009, follow the instructions in http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/2906287B989006EA862576AB005BE08E

  • 4415 proBook s: replacement of the optical drive - need a support and screw

    Hello

    I'm replacing an optical drive, reference 535816-001 for a 4415 s HP's Probook. I've lost the support that attaches to the rear of the optical drive, seen in Maintenance and Service of Guide on page 68 (http://h20628.www2.hp.com/km-ext/kmcsdirect/emr_na-c01918897-3.pdf). The HP parts store said that the replacement of optical discs does not understand the support. I also talked with HP Support, and after putting me on hold and check with their supervisor, said that there is no spare part for the optical drive carrier. Does anyone know of a place to buy a replacement media for optical drive 535816-001 part number that would be compatible with a 4415 s HP's Probook?

    I also need a Phillips PM2, 5 × 7.0 live which blocks the optical drive to the computer. I saw screw for sale online kits, but was not sure if someone knew a place where I could buy one.

    Thank you very much for the help.

    Wait, I don't understand it how can you lose this part if you already work on it? And for your parts, you should look on eBay if they have this hardware and screws for your car as well.
