• Connection error Active Directory Windows Server R2 2012

  That's my problem, I have two servers both running Windows Server R2 Datacenter 2012 I installed AD - DS on one of them and allow the installation to configure the DNS settings, this server is also a DHCP server. On the server I want to connect to AD, I address DNS pointing to my AD server which is 192.168.1.60 and it's also getting an IP address from the DHCP server. But it connects to Active Directory, when I try the ping command on the domain name which is yewman.email he's trying pings an external IP address (which is my public ip address because I also have the yewman.email of real estate) how to fix this? It's the mistake of connection AD:

• Activation of Windows 8 not to reinstall after - HELP!

  A few months ago, I bought a product key of Windows 8.  I have installed Windows 8 and entered the product key - the two succeeded.

  I recently had to reinstall Windows because of some connectivity issues, I've had.

  I am now told by Windows that my activation code is blocked - error code = c004c003.  I think it's because the code has already been activated before, by me.

  I tried the phone twice activation system for nothing doesn't.

  Can you please unlock this code was declared valid by your system a few months ago.  I guess from what I read that there was a hardening of security protocols before Windows 10 released.

  4. Choose the option "activate phone".
  5. Stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.
  6. Clearly state your problem to the support person.

• Active Directory plugin does not work correctly

  I'm having some weird problems with the Active Directory plugin uses the native vCO in vCAC.

  • When I use virtually any element of the workflow associated with the AD plugin I get a UI glitch and cannot select anything, this happens especially with the AD:Host selector.
  • When I use the AD:OU selector I can only watch the OUs that are at the root of the domain and can not enter in the OU structure.
  • When I use the ActiveDirectory.search function I have still no matches.
  • I get a lot of these errors for various object in the newspapers: [ADObjectFactory] error creating object ID: OR OR = Groups, DC =, DC = domain
    

  
  

  So far, I tried the following:

  • Updated the host AD to use different users who have domain administrator rights.
  • Tried to change the host to use the catalogue global (3268) and regular LDAP port (389)
  • Restart the services server and vCO several times.
  • Temporary files deleted through the configurator.

  Anyone have any ideas on what could be the problem? The ad server is Server 2012.

  So I thought that the problem. When you configure endpoint AD you must specify the root of the advertising in the field of the ldapBase. If there is a space after the comma that separates values DC (dc =, dc = server) you will end up with the weird error state.

  You will need to go to your SSO Configuration and set your ad as default domain.

  I'm currently experimenting at home with a second server for a company that has their computers on our part. What I want is the second domain controller to be able to continue to operate the field, (all users can access their profile and documents), if the first domain controller fails. I installed windows on my second domain controller and run dcpromo.exe. I have it set up as a second domain controller. Some how I don't think that this will continue to run correctly the field to cause where the profiles are stored (on server1)
  I have to install the DFS replication from Server Manager and replicate profiles more on server2? So should I redirect the path of documents to \\domainname.local\UsersDoc?
  Any help in this matter would be appreciated!

  We need your help to solve problems 1 question we receive many users after application PeopleSoft Kerberos SSO against AD. This problem is specific to Windows 7 PC and where the Kerberos token is not available.

  A few facts we know:

  Kerberos fails for users who are not connected to the system using AD domain (like Kerberos token is not valid).

  These users are not on AD Doamin so SSO fails, which is understandable. But - we've designed our solution in such a way - when AUTHENTICATION fails, it will trigger a Peoplesoft login screen. The user can manually provide its credentials (name of user/AD password) and authentication LDAP directory will be triggered using ad servers.

  Note: our site is enabled for SSL (HTTPS)

  Windows 7 when the person tries to connect which is outside AD domain, SSO fails (in the form of token not found)-> PeopleSoft Login sreen rises to the HTTPS-> user to connect using AD userid and password-> PeopleSoft login screen gets refreshed and notheing happens.

  Surprising - even works on Googgle Crome or if I change the http URL.

  We put in login secuity 'True' in the Web.XML for Kerberos settings.

  Here is the Fiddler trace when we click on "registration" - in area no AD.

  The roles that you deploy any external identity store as AD, LDAP will not be added to the admin applets by itself since there is the standard that should be set manually (or the default). These roles will be visible only to users who are assigned to them and if you are looking for to handle them then either use identification information cards (which would be the easiest option) to map external roles to the existing applet or manually create the same name roles in admin applet.

  Identity of firewall

  Generally, a firewall is not aware of the identity of the user and, therefore, impossible to implement identity-based security policies. The identity of the ASA firewall provides more granular control of access based on the identity of users. You can configure access rules and security policies based on the user and groups rather than name names by source IP addresses. The ASA applies security policies based on an association of IP addresses to the Windows Active Directory connection information and reports on the events based on the names of mapped instead of IP addresses of network users. Identity firewall integrates with the Active Directory window in conjunction with an external Agent of Active Directory (AD) that provides the mapping of the real identity. The ASA uses Windows Active Directory as a source to retrieve the identity information of the current user for specific IP addresses. In a company, some users log on the network using other authentication mechanisms, such as authentication with a web portal (passage of proxy) or by using a VPN. You can configure the firewall of identity to allow these types of identity-based authentication under access policies. I have set up the LDAP with Microsoft AD (2003 Server) Protocol but I can connect with the main single user (who is a member of the ad group), but I can't connect through any other user in this group.

  Not this one.please check it you LDAP team and get the

  good user and details of group objects. If you have permission you are LDAp server you find the user and group

  and then just right click and select object tab here you could see * (look at the canonical name of the object) * this path of the particular user structure... also you can generate the file LDIF.txt and find you're object.

  I just installed Windows Server 2012. After you have added the DNS and Active Directory functions/roles on the server, I noticed that the Active Directory service is not running, but it is disabled. When I try to start the service, I get the error - The Active Directory Domain Services service on Local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.

  Any ideas what could cause this?
