Report alert clear database Service of Cluster Management as being down

I had a database initialization parameter - set service_name - for example. bamsd - who has since been removed from the initialization parameter.

Since she was abducted, Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control reports a Staus Service alert "Service bamsd is Down.".
How can I remove this alert (or where)?

I entered the alert and tried the grateful and tried to "Reassess the alert", but this alert remains.

I also went in the Services of managed database clustering (availability in EM tab), thinking that the alert and the definition of this service can come from there, but he noted that he didn't there no service defined for the database (as I expect).

Anyone able to help, or point me in the right direction of a guide appropriate?
(This alert is no impact on anything, whether it's just a tidy task to try to clear some critical alert occurrences, which in my opinion should not be showing)

Thank you in advance.

The problem is caused by the service being registered in the table sys.service$ on the target database but not marked as deleted thereafter. To get rid of it just run command:

SQL > execute dbms_service.delete_service ('bamsd');

It will fill in the deletion_date column in the table. Reassess the alert in grid control and it's erased.

    Hello

    you kill the instance or has he stopped?

    If you stop it then it is planned. You must move the service first.

    If the instance is aborted abnormally (or the server is killed) it should failover.

  • Unable to see the Collections in remote desktop Services in Server Manager

    It doesn't seem to be a category for Windows Server for some reason, so I apologize if this is in the wrong category:

    We recently had an administrator leave our of the it group, and he was the one who had set up our fund services / remote server.  Recently, we wanted to deploy another remote application and found that we were not able to see the "Collections" option in the server in remote desktop services manager.  The only option listed is "servers".  However to reactivate the account administrator and the server like him gave us all permissions to see the option of Collections and to deploy another remote application.

    My question would be, this is a policy of setting Group / somewhere that is limiting the other users of the full access to Office services in Server Manager remotely.  I looked everywhere on the server (and google) to see if I could find where this setting is vain.  Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

  • Database service

    Hello

    I created a database using DBMS_SERVICE basic service. CREATE_SERVICE.

    The environment is a very basic 11.2.0.3.6 single-instance database running on Linux. There is no Infrastructure of grid not installed so no Oracle Restart or using srvctl to create, start, and stop services. It's just an installation single instance RDBMS software and a database.

    My question is how do the database service start to restart the database?

    DBMS_SERVICE. START_SERVICE ('serv_name'); of course, works and if I run this command, I can see that the service appears as registered with the LISTENER.

    After I start the database that I have to run the DBMS_SERVICE. START_SERVICE manually despite service in the SERVICE_NAME and DBA_SERVICES setting.

    I have to use a trigger to start to start the service at the start of the database? How are user created services that are started automatically in a database to single instance in the absence of grid Infrastructure?

    Any input appreciated, thank you.

    Hello

    You can use a simple trigger to start the service.

    create or replace trigger serv_trigger

    AFTER THE START WE DATABASE

    BEGIN

    DBMS_SERVICE. START_SERVICE ('serv_name');

    END;

    Just an FYI, in case you decide to use srvctl - add/edit services with srvctl as changes with DBMS_SERVICE will be always lost unless they are also made with the corresponding srvctl command. Attribute of service changes will take effect immediately starting with 11.2.0.2 when the service is started or changed by srvctl.

    Kind regards

    Suntrupth

    Horrible method obsolete to develop web applications of PL/SQL.

    Still not sure that Oracle actively supports this technology and products. It has been never used commonly.

    Apex (Express application) is widely used and have been for many years. It is a mature product, powerful enough for the Professional Enterprise web applications (Oracle uses, himself) and yet easy enough for a person to use, without understanding exactly what the web without State Server-based client works, what optimistic locking is and how to deal with the State of security and the session.

    The apex is by default included in Oracle 11 g.
