report processing

Hi all

How can manage us reports in BAA as Oracle reports?
What tool can be used for the statement?

PMS

ADF does not report writing tools.

There are a lot of these tools on the market (BI Publisher is an Oracle); Jasper and BIRT reports are two other commonly used.

  • Crash report process blocking my mac

    Recently, I installed Arq Backup, and every time I leave my mac download (save) the night when I go back in the morning:

    -The "crash report" uses a lot of CPU and memory;

    -I can not open any application;

    -I can not save any file on the disk (desktop, documents, etc.);

    -My only solution is to restart my mac;

    After the reboot, I checked the disk and partition using disk utility, and it's all good with the disc.

    This last night before going to bed, I closed all Applications that where open and I left the console open with 'System request log' > 'All Messages' and the hit 'clear view', I also left the "activity monitor" open to see what was going on in the morning.

    MacBook Pro (15-inch late 2008), OS X El Capitan (10.11.2), 8 GB RAM

    When I came home in the morning, I got this on the activity monitor:

  • Background for reporting process in R12

    Hello

    Where is the location for the script to start/stop the server reports?
    Please tell me how to check the status of the report server in linux command line?

    Thank you
    Kouadio

    Hello

    There is no separate report server in r12, reports in R12 are OC4J process which is controlled by OPMN, you can issue the command

    #ps - ef | grep rwmts

    but this process is seen only when a report is run. And the output of the status of opmnctl.sh all instances are living reports do you server is active.

    Concerning

  • Reporting process

    Hello

    Don't know if this has been already answered somewhere, but what is the best way to provide reports of process? I'm looking for the answers to the following questions:

    1. is there a way to get all the processes (completed / ongoing) for a period specified by the user? For example, point out that during the first week of 2009 there are 10 instances of process with right to vote, 9 full and ongoing 1.

    2. is it possible to access the variables of the instance (BPM custom objects) to a collection of processes during a period specified by the user? For example, to create a CSV file with (approx. 30 fields) voter information for voters who participated in the voting procedure for the last month.

    Thank you.
    Nick.

    Hi Nick,

    Is it possible to get all processes (completed / ongoing) for a period specified by the user? For example, point out that during the first week of 2009 there are 10 instances of process with right to vote, 9 full and ongoing 1.

    While you can use the BAM database for the instances that are always active, and those who have reached the end, looks like you want to go higher over time than what the BAM database stores. The BAM database stores generally what's a going on right now, or what happened in the past 24 hours. While this period is an adjustment of the engine easily editable, for performance reasons you would be better to leave the value default (24 hours).

    There is a database of the data with the same exact structure store the BAM database. This database has no limit of time that are associated with. As long as it's a project variable that is defined as an "indicator of Business", this information will be automatically stored in the database to store data and not roll-off.

    My preference would be (not that I get a vote) instead just use external tables that you set to store the information. As bodies go in the process, you would update the tables via SQL in PBL.

    Is it possible to access the variables of the instance (BPM custom objects) to a collection of processes during a period specified by the user? For example, to create a CSV file with (approx. 30 fields) voter information for voters who participated in the voting procedure for the last month.

    Niether BAM, or the data store databases store information of the BPM object.

    I think that you would be better served using external tables that you set for this requirement. This way you wouldn't have to clutter the process with details about the voter information (unless you need inside the process) and yet you could still access it at any time in the future of the database. If you do not follow this path, the challenge is when you want to extract information from instances that have reached the end activity. BPM object information can be retrieved from running inside the process instances (would be happy to share this method if you want that), but it's another story, once the instance is archived.

    Hope this helps,
    Dan

  • Backgorund of region conditional reporting process

    Hi all
    I have created 5 parts of SQL report in my application... SQL query retrieves only one value.

    as:

    Reg1: select salary from emp where emp = "1234"
    .....
    reg5: select salary from emp where emp = '5678'

    I assigned static ID's for these regions and created 5 5 regions process affect a backgorund color according to the value of the region.

    can I do this using only 1 instead of the process 5different for each region. (little iterative code)

    Here is the link I posted earlier for contional backgorund:
    Historical region conditional formatting

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello:

    Yes, you are on the right track. You don't need the exception handler for each block.

    declare
    x number;
    y number;
    begin
       select sal into x from emp where empno=7839;
       select sal into y from emp where empno=7125;
       if x >= 5000 then
          htp.p('');
       end if;

     if y >= 5000 then
          htp.p('');
       end if;

    ..... other stuff

    exception when others then
    null;
    end;

  • Are there special permissions (file access) required for reports write to temporary files?

    Report BUILDER 11.1.0.7 (64-bit)

    Form builder 11.1.2.1.0 (64-bit)

    Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

    Java:

    Java version "1.6.0_45".

    Java (TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_45 - b06)

    Java for 64-bit Server VM (build 20.45 - b01, mixed mode)

    IDAutomation LinearBarcode.jar

    I have a report that prints the data with bar code on the detail rows in a report.  It uses the Java LinearBarcode.jar by Idautomation package for this purpose.  The Java package contains an encoder that returns a bar code in the form of a GIF image to a field on the report.  One of the arguments that it requires is a name of temporary file generated by srw.create_temporary_filename ().  When it works perfectly, and it creates the temporary image file in my folder tree 'House' (C:\Users\ < username > \AppData\Local\Temp) run under the report generator.  When I run this report generator with fast running behind her I can watch the report search, open, read and close this file LinearBarcode.jar several times for successive lines of the report.  Everything seems to be very good in the generator.

    The fun begins when I try to call the same report from a FORM (Form Builder fleeing), where he fails every time, somewhere in the image generation stage.  In my view, that it fails to the creation of the image itself, when he tries to open the file for writing temporary image.  I can find the empty temporary files left after the report runs and fails, but the size of the file is zero byte.  When I run this report of my test form with Microsoft quick run behind it I see the report search, open, read and close this file LinearBarcode.jar for the first line of data in the report, then the report fails.  So, I know that the .jar file and the required REPORTS_CLASSPATH/CLASSPATH entries are synchronized with the location of the .jar file.  The report runs, and he finds the LinearBarcode.jar, it opens, it reads and closes it.  What I do is to not see any activity related to the image itself temporary file.   Thus, failure at least gives the impression of being in the image create step itself, which makes me doubt the safety of Java.  However, there is no message popup on Java security problems.

    I tried implementing Trace for reports, but also, that does not give something of use, except to confirm that the report is certainly a failure in the creation of barcode code somewhere.  This is known from the error message in the log file: fatal error REP-1401 < barcode create procedure name >

    I'm guessing that he might be a missing 'writing' somewhere authorization prevent the creation of the temporary file used to generate the barcode image file. This error only occurs under Java (run from a form). I was not able to find something about it by reading everything I could find on the OracleBarcode.jar demo.  I also not found anything in Google searches that does not count.

    Are special permissions to allow these operations to temporary file as shown above?  If Yes, where and how are they set?  If this isn't the case, else anyone seen this issue before?

    Thanks in advance

    Hank

    Resolved: This issue had nothing to do with the creation of barcodes. It turns out that there is a field in the State who had no defined source. It was not rendered because it was hidden by a format trigger. It seems that this case is handled by the constructor, but blew the engine in the reporting process used when a report is called by the forms. It took a long process of elimination, elimination of triggers, fields, parameters, and even the generation of bar code code until I found it.

    Thank you

    Hank

  • More than 1 SQL query with checkbox and error invalid number report

    Hi all

    I have two SQL query reports that each has an apex_item.checkbox and two processes for each report.  A report/process works very well.  It gives me an error of invalid number.

    In addition, another query SQL (editable report) gives me the following error when using the Multi line process, delete.

    ORA-06502: PL/SQL: digital or value error: character number conversion
    error ORA-06502: PL/SQL: digital or value error: character number conversion
    error
    Ok

    When I got a report from SQL query (with box and a process) and the query SQL (editable report) everything worked.  It stopped working when I added another SQL query report (with box and a process).

    A SQL query has the following in my query: apex_item.checkbox(3,email_id,'UNCHECKED') ""

    The other SQL query has the following: apex_item.checkbox(2,b.file_id,'UNCHECKED') ""

    Any help will be greatly appreciated,

    Sylvia

    Hi Reema,

    I've recreated the region and now it works!

    Thank you for this, looking at

  • Master / detail REPORT (FORM no)

    I use 4 APEX and want to create a master / detail REPORT (not a FORM) and can't seem to format as I want. For each record in my MASTER table that I want to print a few fields of her on the first line, followed by one or more records in the SECONDARY table on the following lines. It is easy to do as a form, but I want it on a web page as text only report. Any suggestions would be appreciated, other that "read the manual". Already tried.

    So my desired output would look like this:

    MASTER NAME: XXXXXX MASTER ADDRESS: CITY OF MASTER XXXXXX: XXXXXX

    RETAIL RETAIL QTY. ONLINE RETAIL PRODUCT
    1 XYZ 10
    2 ABC 20

    NAME OF THE MASTER: YYYYYY MASTER ADDRESS: YYYYYY MASTER CITY: YYYYY

    RETAIL RETAIL QTY. ONLINE RETAIL PRODUCT
    3 DEF 30
    4 GHI 40

    It is an area of APEX where a few feature improvements would make the very nice end statement. In the meantime, you can write your own reporting process in a region of PL/SQL easily, consisting of two loops: one for master records and one for children. You will have to expose the area using HTML, but since control you it can look as you wish. I did something similar with this code:

    create or replace PROCEDURE PROC_TONMILERPT(dt1 DATE, dt2 DATE, c NUMBER)
    as
      dt_from    DATE           := dt1;
      dt_to      DATE           := dt2;
      cust       NUMBER         := c;
      ttl_dys    NUMBER;
      cursor c_proj is select ORG_ID, ORG_NM from ORG_ENTITIES
                        where CUSTOMER_ID = cust
                          and ORG_ID NOT IN (200,300,400,500,600,700,800,900);
      v_org      NUMBER;
      v_orgnm    VARCHAR2(47);
      cursor c_rpt is select STN, MILES, SUM(TTL_WT)

    I created it as a procedure because the APEX limits you to only 32K of a character value in a region. If you do a lot of formatting, it can eat up hastily. Of more, that way I don't have to change the procedure to change the output, not the page APEX itself.

    Oh, and here's the code for the region of PL/SQL:

    begin
      PROC_TONMILERPT(to_date(:P1345_DATE_FROM,'MM/DD/YYYY'), to_date(:P1345_DATE_TO,'MM/DD/YYYY'), :P1345_CUSTOMER);
    end;

    You will notice that it accepts parameters from a region of "filters" to determine the results.

    What memory can I add to my satellite P100-221? I want to buy 2 * 2 gb

    Only Kingston SO-DIMM, 2 GB PC5300 DDR2 SDRAM, KTT667D2 / 2G match?

    > The report system in Windows (i.e. Rclick my computer etc) will report much less than 4 GB. It is a "bug" in the reporting process.

    Just for info: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929605/en-us

    According to the specifications of the laptop, you can use monitoring of RAM modules:
    PA3499U - 1 M 25 (Kit of memory 256 Mo DDR2-667)

  • What is DIAdem?

    Someone could expain to me what tiara? I am a user of Labview, and I use it not only for the acquisition of data, but also for the analysis of the data.

    We have a Campus license, order to Diadem is included, but I don't know if it is the effort to examine it or not worthing. So, please, could someone explain to me what can do Diadem and impossible Labview?

    Thank you

    Hello gnappo,

    It's a good question, and I'll try to give a brief answer.

    Tiara is an application of post processing and data communication (you can also write custom in LabVIEW code for). I'll try to make an analogy with the ecosystem of Microsoft here. LabVIEW is a tool of programming (such as Visual Studio in the world of Microsoft), and the tiara is an application (we will compare to Excel in the world of Microsoft).

    You can certainly schedule a specific analysis and reporting processes well in LabVIEW, but anything that requires that greater flexibility is better served by DIAdem.

    Among the highlights of DIAdem for me are:

    1. DataPlugins - ability to load data from more than 500 files formats directly in DIAdem without the need to create custom players, including Excel and ASCII files using wizards

    2. DataFInder - creates an automatic index of all the files and their metadata that can instantly be searched from the research free text or keyword

    3. Easily load data from multiple files for comparison in a set of data online (data portal), including subsets of data (individual signals or groups) according to specific conditions

    4. Interactive control of data using the sliders, with the ability to synchronize the video, GPS signals and other sources of data in an easy to use interface

    5. A comprehensive mathematical analysis of the curve fits the statistics and analysis of signals - more libraries Extensible forms and automatic unit conversion

    6. Creating multi-page graphics, dynamic and reusable report templates including 2D, 3D graphics and tables, polar plots, and images inline and variable

    7. Automation thanks to recorders macro, with the possibility to expand the macros into VBScript, create custom menus, bars of tool and icon, dialogues and all user interfaces

    These are a few things that come to mind - you can visit the page DIAdem here on ni.com (http://www.ni.com/diadem/) for more details, or call your local office of OR and ask for a personalized presentation of DIAdem.

    Let me know if you have any additional questions,

    Otmar

  • How to access objects collection

    How to access the collections of objects for example ReportSections report? I can access ReportSection, but not his collection...

    Reference: http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/372844e.pdf

    Maybe you don't understand exactly what section of the report is. According to the help:

    Use this class objects to store, update and transfer reports. You typically use the ReportSection objects to avoid creating copies of a report that the report is transferred between the generator of reports, process, Report and ReportView control object models. You can create a new ReportSection object by calling the Report.NewReportSection method. ReportSection objects can contain other ReportSection objects.

    As a general rule, a process template creates and updates the ReportSection object and assigns to the report object by setting the Report.ReportSection property.

    It has a sub-property called ReportSubsections , which specifies a reference to the ReportSections object, which is a collection that contains a list of child ReportSection objects to the current object. Looking at this object, it's a list of items that you can index through to get each.
