We expected to see an additional line for the PACKAGE BODY. Seen for Custom 2.packags, but for some reason, a single line for the PACKAGE is indicated for DBMS_LDAP.

Can you please help us understand why only the type of PACKAGE is shown here and not the PACKAGE BODY?

I have reproduced the same behavior in an 11g database when EXECUTED on DBMS_LDAP was granted to the PUBLIC. If you want to see why this is so, you can find the definition of the object of DBA_VIEWS view (if you have access to the SYSTEM or similar) and focus on the logic.

Select the text in dba_views where view_name = "object";

You will see that in object the user packages are listed for PACKAGE and PACKAGE BODY, but packages in other patterns to which the user has access are listed only for the PACKAGE object type (type # = 9), unless the user has active special privileges (CREATE ANY PROCEDURE, DEBUG ANY PROCEDURE), which SYSTEM and s/n-users have. In other words, this query:

Select * from object where object_name like 'DBMS_LDAP' and object_type like '% of the PACKAGE. "

returns two rows when it is run by the SYSTEM, but only when run by a 'normal' user

It makes sense to me that packages that I have only EXECUTE on are listed with PACKAGE and not the PACKAGE BODY.

Clicking on accept or decline does not a doggone thing. I don't have the problem with Google Chrome, but I really prefer to use Firefox. I had the problem with other sites next to NPR (National Public Radio All Things Considered). It does not interfere with the download, but there really with the NPR player. My world will not end if you do not resolve the problem, but it would be nice if you could. I live in the Philippines, so that might be a factor.

    I hate to be a conspiracy theorist, I can connect to youtube without problem on IE, but I hate this browser. I use windows 7 and 15 FF. Can someone find it?

    Looks like it's a firefox issue, because that never happened on IE, Safari or Opera on me.
    You think not that a simple patch can solve this problem. I have to delete individual cookies every day.
