  I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro P300 with xp pro. My wlan driver atheros AR9281 does not work. I uninstalled it as suggested by Toshiba
  and downloaded a new. How can I get the download open and in Device Manager?

  Prior to do any create new folder on the desktop.
  Download driver driver and start TC00147200C.exe Toshiba will start extraction of archive
  Click on Options
  Click Browse, and then choose new folder on the desktop
  Click next
  Click Start
  When finished open the new folder and go to the folder XPDrv
  Start the installation with setup.exe and the installation should start

  As the TEMPRO program has informed of a new version of the wLan driver, I uninstalled the current and installed the new one (Realtek Wireless LAN Adapter 8191SE/8192SE)

  * the previous version installed

  Have you tried to restore the driver in Device Manager? I don't know much on your laptop, are you sure that you install the right driver?

  I hope this is the right place for some kind of assistance. Last week, I installed a Windows Update option for the Realtek Wireless Adapter. Once it was installed, the wireless connection dropped after 5 minutes and the only way to restore it was to run the troubleshooter where he repaired, and then lasted another 5 minutes before going down.   At first, I must say that you should not install any driver that is offered by Windows update. Toshiba offers notebook with recovery image pre-installed that contains all the drivers, tools and utilities. The preinstalled drivers are tested and avoid a serious problem.

  Everything that you have done is good and I think that there is not so much possibilities except to the Reinstall original WLAN driver available on the Toshiba download page.

  OK, I understand that, but it does not depend on the recovery image, but in the way how you use your laptop. I phone 4 years old and always use installation of initial recovery with the original drivers and I have no problem.

  Sorry, but maybe you should back up all your important data and reinstall the recovery still image, but after doing that doesn't change anything. Just install major update of Windows, and no more than that.

  I installed Windows XP SP2 for a client on Satellite Pro A200 (PSAE7E) and installed after is spoken in the German support hotline all drivers as in the test - instal .txt but I don't get the Atheros WLAN card to work.

  It is an ar5bxb72 of Atheros, but no way.
  I get all of the drivers in this list only works with the hardware, but not the card WIFI but I installed it in the list.
  Someone has a tip for me?

  Are you sure that the laptop was equipped with the Atheros WLan card? According to some information that I found in the internet, this laptop comes with an Intel or Atheros WLan card!

The Wireless Lan Client Manager is not the driver, but only the tool that helps you to configure your wireless network card and gives you more than the functions integrated configuration of windows configuration options.

  By the way; If you use XP on this laptop preinstalled Vista you will need to update the BIOS to version XP too!

  Device Manager is equipped with a device of ininstalled one with the name "Ethernet card", but the wireless network card no.

  I am in charge of the drivers from the toshiba web site. But all the drivers fits.

  I have a Toshiba Satellite C660 - 2 4 laptop and I use Windows 7-32 bit.
  I have a small problem when you install the LAN and Wireless drivers. I chose the correct drivers, but after their installation, nothing happens. It stills shows an exclamation sign on the network controller and the PCI of Simple Communications controller (which I believe it is the wireless network).

  Please advice. Should I install a different Windows?

  I downloaded * version 9.0.4.29 *, after having unpacked, I see as 12.4.0.21 version, which in fact is the same for Intel Pro 3495.

  When I use setup.exe from the foregoing, it is a message that is not compatible and installation can kill the material.

  Here you can download the driver for Wlan Intel PRO/Wireless 2200/2915 WLan.
  Latest version XP is 9.0.4.39.

  First download the driver, then unzip it, go to Device Manager, mark card wireless network, use the Update Driver feature.
  Use the Advanced installation procedure, and then point to the driver files, stored on the HARD drive.

  Looking at the page HP drivers for your PC Win10, I don't see this softpaq for all Intel WLAN driver.  Instead, I see the sp72159 softpaq.
