Request too large entity

Are there plans to increase the size of the files, we can deal with the network?

Is there no workaround solution that anyone can suggest? What is the maximum size file, you can download programattically?

This is the best method to get a file?

c = (StreamConnection) Connector.open(uri);
            s = c.openInputStream();
            int ch;
            while ((ch = s.read()) != -1) {
                b.append((char) ch);
            }

            String book = b.toString();

Thank you

Hippo.

My apologies for the incomprehensible reference uid. This line comes from a slightly older version that I thought that I was using.

The intention of this particular bit of code is to capture connection parameters which can have been used for this download, such as «;» deviceside = false' for a BES connection. For more information on the types of available parameters, look at the class JavaDoc connectoror our video network.

The other problem that will stop this particular method is the use of the log() method. This is a standard method that I use in my sample applications to print debug output. In general, this will go to the screen, System.out, to the event log or a combination of the above. I have him contained in the document because it is useful as documentation for the codes and log is much shorter that System.out.println (), while maintaining, I think, clear sense of its purpose. Of course, I would be happy to hear suggestions on how to make articles more useful and understandable.

  • 413 request Entity too large (history)

    I started having a sync error that won't go away. When I watched the news I've seen a lot of mistakes in the post. So the first thing I tried was to blow everything since I've been using the synchronization of the former. Then configure the new sync but I still had an error. Only this time, it was only a post failure and history was precisely the problem:

    1412870549016 Sync.Collection DEBUGGING POST length: 2152216
    1412870551015 Sync.Collection DEBUG mesg: POST fail 413 https://sync-141-us-west-2.sync.services.mozilla.com/1.5/10221627/storage/history

    1412870551015 Sync.Engine.History DEBUG records Uploading failed:
    413 request entity too large

    If I disable the history then everything is fine and it syncs very well. But of course, now I can't synchronize my story. Any ideas on how to solve this problem? Am I stuck having to blow my story?

    Anyway... went ahead and blew the history cache. I guess it'll just keep going because the story gets too big and there is no real solution for this.

  • Want to report a bug/feature request, but the shape gives a Jrun Servlet Error 413 header length too large

    This Adobe - feature request/Bug Report Form URL gives me this error: Jrun Servlet Error 413 header length too large

    Is this a problem with Adobe or my browser? (Chrome Version 37.0.2062.103 m)

    I got the error while trying to open the page that has form on this.

    I tried with IE and it worked fine. It must be a problem with Chrome. I get the same error on many Adobe web pages. I submitted a bug report to the Google Chrome team. I don't think that it is a matter of Adobe, although it could be differences in how browsers handle malformed web pages, but I consider this matter closed.

    Hi Carolyn,

    Thanks for posting the request in the Microsoft Community. It seems that you are facing problem when burning a video disc. I will certainly help you to question.

    We start with two questions:

    1 have had any changes made on the computer before the show?

    2. what application you use to burn the disc?

    3. What is the size of the video files?

    If you use a third-party software or an application to burn the video files, I suggest you to use Windows DVD maker and check if it helps:

  • Addition of virtual column: ORA-12899: value too large for column

    I am using Oracle 11g, OS Win7, SQL Developer

    I'm trying to add the virtual column to my test table, but get ORA-12899: value too large for column error. Here are the details.
    Can someone help me in this?
    CREATE TABLE test_reg_exp
    (col1 VARCHAR2(100));

    INSERT INTO test_reg_exp (col1) VALUES ('ABCD_EFGH');
    INSERT INTO test_reg_exp (col1) VALUES ('ABCDE_ABC');
    INSERT INTO test_reg_exp (col1) VALUES ('WXYZ_ABCD');
    INSERT INTO test_reg_exp (col1) VALUES ('ABCDE_PQRS');
    INSERT INTO test_reg_exp (col1) VALUES ('ABCD_WXYZ');
    ALTER TABLE test_reg_exp
    ADD (col2 VARCHAR2(100) GENERATED ALWAYS AS (REGEXP_REPLACE (col1, '^ABCD[A-Z]*_')));

    SQL Error: ORA-12899: value too large for column "COL2" (actual: 100, maximum: 400)
    12899. 00000 -  "value too large for column %s (actual: %s, maximum: %s)"
    *Cause:    An attempt was made to insert or update a column with a value
               which is too wide for the width of the destination column.
               The name of the column is given, along with the actual width
               of the value, and the maximum allowed width of the column.
               Note that widths are reported in characters if character length
               semantics are in effect for the column, otherwise widths are
               reported in bytes.
    *Action:   Examine the SQL statement for correctness.  Check source
               and destination column data types.
               Either make the destination column wider, or use a subset
               of the source column (i.e. use substring).
    When I try to, I get the correct results:
    SELECT col1, (REGEXP_REPLACE (col1, '^ABCD[A-Z]*_'))
    FROM test_reg_exp;
    Thank you.

    Yes, RP, it works if you give col2 size > = 400.

    @Northwest - could you please test the same w/o having a clause of regex in col2?
    I have a doubt about using a REGULAR expression in this case Dynamics col.

    Refer to this (might help) - http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/11g/virtual-columns-11gr1.php
    Below excerpt from above link... see if that helps...
    >
    Notes and restrictions on the virtual columns include:

    The indexes defined on the virtual columns are equivalent to a function-based index.
    Virtual columns can be referenced in the updates and deletions WHERE clause, but they cannot be manipulated by DML.
    The tables containing virtual columns may still be eligible for result caching.
    Functions in expressions must be deterministic when the table is created, but can then be recompiled and non-deterministic without for as much invalidate the virtual column. In such cases, the following steps must be taken after the function is recompiled:
    Constraint on the virtual column must be disabled and re-enabled.
    On the virtual column indexes must be rebuilt.
    Materialized views that access the virtual column must be fully refreshed.
    The result cache must be flushed if the virtual column acceded to the request (s).
    Statistical table must be regathered.
    The virtual columns are not supported for the organized and external object in index, cluster or temporary tables.
    The expression used in the virtual column definition has the following restrictions:
    It cannot refer to another virtual column by name.
    It can refer to the columns defined in the same table.
    If it refers to a deterministic user-defined function, it cannot be used as a partitioning key column.
    The result of the expression must be a scalar value. It cannot return that an Oracle supplied the data type, a type defined by the user, LOB or LONG RAW.

  • The image file is too large

    Hi, I am trying to download a book on Smashwords. I made the pictures so small now that I CASN barely see them (2.5 cm). Yet, this short story 1 200 words and 39 works of graphic art is still too large to download in format Doc (the one acceptable to swords)

    I don't want to download a mac epub as it blows the content too. It never works with Smashwords requirements. (I made hundreds of changes and moving images in all directions no matter what)

    I tried to compress the file and there is Mo.9 difference - not enouch.

    I'm at 17.6 MB now, and I'm afraid this file will not work.

    Is there anything I can do to make a smaller file with works of art (for small children) working here? Thanks guys and girls. Much appreciated if you go by.

    To create this in what applications do you use?

    Some applications (including MS Word, Pages, but also others) store several revisions and changes in the main document. Sometimes it's helpful (makes it easy to retrace your steps), but it leads to the bloat of the document.

    There are two ways to reduce this. In Word, try to save as... to save a clean copy of the document (without any changes). In the Pages, use file-> advanced-> reduce the size of the file to do the same. Other applications may have similar options.

  • All the text displays too large, Ctrl + 0 does not

    Enabled Firefox this afternoon to find all the text made too big by about 30%. Icons in the bookmarks bar and the tabs are too big, as well. If I press on Ctrl + - twice, then it seems normal, but Ctrl + 0 returned any abnormally high. Gmail in particular seems wrong no matter what I put the zoom, as if the user interface is too large, but the text is too small.

    I don't know what is happening. Several reboots of Firefox has not helped. Disabling each addon and plugin did not help.

    Can you use Ctrl ++ (zoom full page) to increase the size on Gmail? I'm sure that at least a few sites you will need to do this, depending on the size of pixel of your screen.

  • When the scaling in the layout, 1st page prints correctly, but the following pages were not properly/too large for the paper, parts of text missing scale

    When you try to print in Firefox and when the scale to the size of the page in the page layout, the first page prints correctly, but the following pages do not scale correctly and are too large for the paper, with the parts of the text are cut off at top and right. It is not fixed by checking or unchecking the scaling / shrink to fit page width "ignore" in the print window, or by changing the scale percent.

    I am running Firefox 15.0.1, on Mac OS 10.5.8.

    The same problem happens in preview print and if I save the copy in a .pdf file

    I tried all the fixes in the how to and others in various forums with no improvement.

    This happens everytime I try to print a document from scaling upwards or downwards in Firefox.

    I note the bug has been fixed and should in Firefox 21 right now, it will mean the use night http://nightly.mozilla.org/
