Requirements for PS CC, is my Windows 8.1 tablet fit enough?
Hi all
I have such a laptop / Tablet Windows 8.1 thing in my hands. Asked me to have a copy of PS. I have actually asked me directly to hack, but a 3-4 month subscription is not much more expensive for me, so I won't. I will buy it or he won't, depending on the answer to this question:
This device supports PS CC?
Intel Core i5-3337U CPU
1.80 GHz (4 processors)
Windows 8.1 operating system
4096 MB RAM
At 1600 MHz DDR3
128 GB of disk space
Through SATA2 SSD
~ 40 GB of free
display 1920 x 1080
Graphics Intel HD 4000
Integrated and shared
That's what worries me the most
For a complete list of specifications disclosed: http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/pcs/XE700T1C-K01US#key-specs
Now the requirements for PS CC page: https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/tech-specs.html
The specs of the device I have are good enough? Specifically on aspects of the CPU and the GPU, which I don't have at all in reality...
I can always try the product before you buy it, but I wanted to ask you about this before trying it again.
It is a 2 part question. Run it - Yes. It will work well - probably not, but it depends on what kind of user you are.
CS6 and CC has really need minimum 8 gig or ram, video card average with 1 GB of VRAM and a lot more disk space. Most recommend 100 g scrach disk space, although if it is not a power user, you can get with 50.

If this is impossible, you can see if your hard drive has a hidden restore partition. You can check this by running the Disk Manager:
Make a right click my computer and select manage. On the left side of the window, select disk management.

Windows 7 x 64 required for HP Envy 17 laptop drivers
Hi all
I have problems with some drivers for this machine to original-Windows 8
Specifically, I need win x 64 drivers for the touchpad and USB 3.0
The model number, I can find is in the BIOS that tells me that it is an EOK85UAR #ABA
I tried win7 drivers for other models without success - a USB 3.0 thugs BSOD driver had on me and I had to use system restore to put the right thing!
Any help appreciated
Peter
Hi, Peter:
Your laptop is not supported by HP for Windows 8. There is no W7 driver for it.
This isn't my first rodeo... I have helped many people install W7 on models with the same hardware as yours, and nobody has reported problems using the drivers provided by the Probook s 4540, except the card reader driver.
Install the drivers, it is like building a House. You must start with the Foundation and accumulate. You don't just go about willy-nilly drivers installing or can do crazy things.
The first driver to be installed is the utility Intel Chipset Installation and reboot.
Next is the Intel HD graphics driver, reboot.
Next is the audio driver, restart.
Next is the Realtek Lan driver wired.
Your model uses the Intel wireless driver.
You can use this model card reader driver:
If the driver of the touchpad of the 4540 s does not work for a reason use that directly from Synaptics.
http://www.Synaptics.com/resources/drivers
For any other device requiring drivers yet, click on it and post the hardware ID's and I'll post the links to the drivers you need.
Use this guide to find the ID of the hardware for a device.

Hello
You has made changes to the system before the error appearing? Cancel the changes.
(1) in Device Manager > right click on the driver, and then select uninstall
Reboot and Windows will reload the driver
(2) remove the upper & lower filters that cause errors in Code 31

Access the manufacturer's Web site and search for updated driver

This device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
I have a permanent error on my computer and when I run the troubleshooter I get the above message. It says Windows cannot load the driver.
Hello
USB devices remove all you can - restart the computer - is still there, the error? If it isn't
It is related to one of the add-in devices that you removed. If she is still there, then, the question is
either a device internal who can not remove or physically with the USB bus itself.
If it was not there, add devices at a time until it is displayed - keep in mind that it is
possible that there are two (or more) devices in conflict over the issue. Once you
identified the check of the aircraft with the help of the manufacturer.1. to find the control panel - device - device - right-click on it - uninstall - Manager then
Restart the computer to see if it clears.2. same place - double click on the device - driver tab - driver update - to see if that helps.
3. check with the support of system manufacturer (manufacturer of motherboard for customized systems), their
online documentation and drivers, diagnostics and ask questions in their forums on all known
questions. Update the Bios and chipset or other USB drivers.=====================================

NetBIOS and Windows Legacy Machines
Can someone link me to some documents that NetBIOS is required for devices inherited from Windows to function properly?
Maybe even a link to a Microsoft web page that States this as well.
I understand the security risks inherent with opening ports 135 and 139, but they are needed within the network for some devices to function correctly, just need a documentation that indicates that.

Files which are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions
I get this window popping up that reads, "files required for Windows to run correctly have been replaced by unrecognized versions.» To maintain system stability, Windows must restore the original versions of these files. Insert your Windows XP Professional CD2 now. "The problem is that I'm not running XP Professional. I am running XP Media Edition (do not know what version - when I look at 'System' in the control panel it says version 2002, but the OS disc that came with my computer says version 2005 with update rollup 2). In any case, I only have an installation disc, and when I insert it, the computer tells me it's the wrong disc. What should I do?
God help us all...
Is the CD you have an XP bootable installation CD authentic or some kind of restore CD provided with your system (they are not the same thing). If it's a CD of Windows, this Service Pack is on the CD?
Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..
If the system works, what do you think might have changed since the last time it did not work properly?
What is your Service Pack installed? If you are not sure, do the following:
Click Start, run and enter in the box:
Msinfo32
Click on OK and when the system info summary appears, click on Edition, select all, copy, and then paste the results here.
There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and what appears to be personal information for you, simply delete the personal information of the pasted information.
When you see a message like this:
Windows file protection
Files which are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions. To maintain system stability, Windows must restore the original versions of these files.I hope that you are curious to know what is the file and when you know that, you can decide what to do about it.
You must click Cancel, and then click Yes to keep the file, then you will have an event to watch which will tell you what the problem is the file.
Search where you sign in to see what is the name of file system Viewer, then decide what to do.
The event will look something like in this example:
Event type: Information
Event source: Windows File Protection
Event category: no
Event ID: 64005
Date: 10/01/2011
Time: 14:41:56
Description:
The protected system file taskmgr.exe had not been restored in its original, valid version because the Windows File Protection restoration process was cancelled by user interaction, user name is Jose. The file version of the bad file is unknown. When you know what the file is, you can decide what to do about it. There are probably other copies of the files on your system, or you can get the files from another source.
A shortcut to the event viewer is to click on start, run and enter in the box:
eventvwr.msc
Click OK to launch the event viewer.
Check your event observer system log and look for a proposed Windows file protection event.
If you double-click on an event, it will open a window of properties with more information. On the right are black up and down arrow keys to scroll through the open events. The third button that looks like two overlapping pages is used to copy the details of the event in your Windows Clipboard.
When you find an interesting event that occurred at the time of your question, click on the third button at the top and arrows to copy the details and then you can paste the details (right click, paste or CTRL-V) the text in detail here for analysis. Remove all personal information from your information after you paste If you are forced to do so.
P.S. Let us know how you go with these Microsoft KB article suggestions.
