  Written to tempfiles are not connected, so are not shipped to the standby database. Entries in the temporary file on the primary causing the tempfile wish do not cause the tempfile on the eve of extend. TempFiles on standby can be added/removed/resized independently in primary, even with STANDBY_FILE_MANAGEMENT = 'AUTO '.

  If the watch is purely for the recovery and remains permanently in managed recovery mode, then the day before will not even need a temporary file until after it has been activated in a situation of switching/switching.

It's like the download only contains a Readme file - even if other files see the place in a search.

  I'm more curious than anything else at this point. My XP paint will do, but have to go through a couple of windows - I think that the Image Resizer has all in one window.

  You misread the info for the magnifying glass; It does not say 8 MB (megabytes), it says 8 MP (megaPixel). It is something completely different.

  I would recommend that you select instead of for display. It's a much better idea how wide is your file, and if you divide the dimensions cropped by 300 you get to the size of the typical print of this image (without resizing) file.

  Two problems solved here, hope this is useful to someone else:

  (1) my solution for adding text on the body of an email without affecting attachments:

  (2) Message.setContent (Object) does NOT erase the existing objects, what drives them. This explains my 'setContent (null) ".

  (3) If you just do a setContent (...) on a Multipart, you will lose your attachments... VERY STRANGE seen #2, huh? I repeated this hundreds of times... maybe a bug...

  (4) the name of temporary file I received (e.g., SU1289433050093.tmp) is the name of the image resized file. You know how BB asks if you want to send the original or a smaller version? That!. I don't know how solve this one, so it's going to be a low-pri bug for now...

  Well ESX does not thin the supply, by default, but if you have NFS storage on the SAN backend you won't need this.  It is done for you via NFS.  If you use LUN as your VMFS datastore, I don't think that there is a way to drive thin supply of facility via ESXi.  There may be a setting using the vmkfstools in the console, but it not is probably not supported.

  ESX is a high performance VM host.  This means that everything is done for the performance.  SCSI VM provisioning equipment, thick, etc... So yes, you will take a hit if you thin provision a disc because it allocates into 2GB chunks.  Your VM will change to say 4 GB, so if you need more and he autogrows, it will go to 6 GB, which can be a few seconds delay.  Not to mention the management is a nightmare.  If you have 100 GB of storage, with 3 35 GB VM, and each of them is set to thin, then obviously you haven't enough space.  If you PRE allocate (thick provision), which is the default, then you can clearly see how much space you have allocated and available.  Now, the interesting thing to note, a lot of people stuck in this rut of setting up disk space, why?  If you need 20 GB of space, give it 20 GB of space, why give him 50 GB if you do not NEED NOW!  You can develop a MUCH easier than shrinkage or resizing file system.

  Start the curator, 1 vCPU, 1 GB of memory, 20 GB of space.  Then change your needs.  This is the best practice.  Trying to be too big too fast just made more problems later.

  3. Save for web (png-8)
  4. Close the file

  The file that results is very low (~ 10K) and the text looks crisp and black. On the other hand, if I have the scripts once opened resizing files for save for web, the file size is almost twice as big, and the text is much softer and less black. There is no work around for this? I can record an action that does, but there is a problem with the filename specified in the action.

  FRA does not support automatic growth. So if you have exhausted the space, you have to check what backups you have on it and try to move to the tape and then drive delete or just delete using the delete backup command. • Firefox cannot resize the files of gmail download dialog
