Resize the height of PageItem only

Just a quick. I know how to resize a PageItem using the resize method when taking a picture of the width and the height...

pageItem.resize(CoordinateSpaces.pasteboardCoordinates, AnchorPoint.centerAnchor, ResizeMethods.REPLACING_CURRENT_DIMENSIONS_WITH, [10, 10]);

But how I resize in one direction. I looked at the documentation, but it is very confusing.

values: Data Type: table of varies

The width and height values. Legal dimensions specifications: {x, y [, coordinate space]}, {x, resize constraint [, coordinate space]}, or {resize constraint, y [, coordinate space]}; where x and y are real numbers and the coordinate space is used to determine _only_ the unit of length for x and y; coordinate space is ignored for the 'current time dimensions' resizing method). Can accept: table of Reals, enumerators ResizeConstraints or enumerators CoordinateSpaces.

Hi McShaman,

This should do the job:

pageItem.resize(
    CoordinateSpaces.pasteboardCoordinates,
    AnchorPoint.centerAnchor,
    ResizeMethods.REPLACING_CURRENT_DIMENSIONS_WITH,
    [ResizeConstraints.KEEP_CURRENT_VALUE, 10]
    );

Note, however, that your code has exceptionally cardboard space, which means that you resize the framework encompassing focus on the editing table. Ensure that you really want this. (If your pageItem has a rotation applied compared to the editing table, for example, a rectangular shape will evolve into a parallelogram, etc..)

Usually, what you want is to resize the box in its own space (inside), that is, CoordinateSpaces.innerCoordinates.

  • Resize the height of step as changing height of element

    I'm doing a sensible step that at the height of the scene such as the background image changes proportionally.  Image scales correctly that displacements of browser window, but then leaves plenty of space of the scene empty below the image.  The other elements required to align the image so that they are lying.  If the stage height is the height of the image at any time it would look perfect.

    I don't think I have the height of the stage a percentage or a fixed width.  I tried several configurations and all the videos from scene one I saw keep a fixed height.  Maybe I'm missing something simple, I didn't spend a lot of time to animate again. It seems that there is a painless semi way to set the height of phase equal to a height of elements with js?

    Anyone dealt with a similar situation, or have any suggestions?

  • CS4 automatically resize the height of the text frame to the baseline of the last line of text

    Hello

    Does anyone know of a script that automatically resizes all the heights of text frame in a document so that the bottom of each text block falls on the baseline of the last line of text in the text block? The image height must be determined by the text appearing and does not effect excess or stories of threads.

    Thank you!!

    As text blocks have a property 'lines', lines have a property 'base' and executives have a 'geometricBounds' property, this quickly written javascript should do the trick for a block of selected text:

    app.selection[0].geometricBounds = [app.selection[0].geometricBounds[0],app.selection[0].geometricBounds[1],app.selection[0].lines[app.selection[0].lines.length-1].baseline,app.selection[0].geometricBounds[3]];

    (Whaddoyouknow: it can be done in one line)

    So let's loop over all the text blocks in your current document:

    allf = app.activeDocument.textFrames;
    for (f=0; f

  • Cannot resize the window as we have after the new update for Firefox

    This morning, Firefox installed an automatic update, and after that, I can't resize the window to a smaller proportion. First of all, let me explain why I do this.

    We have a local Web page to work where we can keep track of some of the statistics, and it is the only area that I need to post. This area I used to reduce the FF window, move until it was in my opinion and freeze it above all other windows (custom AHK script).

    The problem now is that FF resize to the size, it stops at a certain minimum width. Height is no problem, I can resize the height until he is "gone", but the width to a static limit stops.

    Example: Earlier I was able to resize to 500px width, but now it stops at 700px width and will not go lower. Earlier, this could go, like, 10-20px width.

    A bug, or is there a reason for this?

    It's because of Bug 897160, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=897160.

    Temp fix in comment 27.

  • You can change the height of a digital indicator in LabVIEW 2010?

    It seems that you could have is LV 7.1 such that referenced by this article:

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/AFCA584E0A70774586256E970052AFC3

    However, I also found that in 8.5 you apparently cannot resize the height of the indicator/control... as they can get rid of the property of digital text node.

    Any ideas if this is possible?  Thank you.

    Erik

    I figured this out, the property node referred to by the guide 7.1 is only visible on the front panel when right-clicking on the item itself (and not all of the control).

  • can't resize the window of firefox, so I can create the shortcut on the desktop

    I don't know how to resize the window smaller, it only makes the impression of the page to the smallest, on the page, not the whole outline of the page, so I can move the symbol to put on the desktop! I used the page resizing in the menu, is there another way to do it? Thank you

    You can see the 3 buttons at the top right of the window frame: (_) to minimize, maximize/restore, close (X)? If these buttons are not visible, Firefox may be in mode "full screen". The F11 key toggles between the normal modes and full screen.

    When you use the middle button on the title bar that toggles between maximized and resizable, is visible in the lower right of the Firefox window? If so, you should be able to click and drag up and to the left to resize the Firefox window. If it is off the screen, you should be able to resize the window in two steps: drag the upper left corner of the window down and to the right, and then drag the window to the top of the screen.

    Not sure it's the right answer, but please give it a try.

  • How to change the height in table of the field of Bitmaps

    Dear developers BB,

    I work with a table of the field (3 x 3) whose I am filled with bitmap images.

    I loaded all 9 images successfully, but I don't know how to resize the height of the lines if the pictures would be good.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Code snippet:

    In the main routine:

    Field [] [] tableContent = new field [3] [3];

    tableContent [0] [0] = new BitmapField (TopLeft);

    ...

    tableContent [2] [2] = new BitmapField (BotRight);

    int [] width = {40, 40, 40};

    paddings of int [] = {20,20,20};

    Screen.Add (new TableListField (tableContent, widths, paddings));

    pushScreen (screen);

    outside the main routine...

    private final static Bitmap TopLeft = Bitmap.getBitmapResource ("topleft.jpg");

    ...

    private final static Bitmap BotRight = Bitmap.getBitmapResource ("botright.jpg");

    class TableListField extends ListField

    public TableListField ([] [], int [] columnWidths field content,
    int [] horizontalPaddings)
    {
    numRows = contents.length int;

    Create a line for each line.
    _rows = new TableRowManager [numRows];
    for (int curRow = 0;  curRow< numrows; ="" currow++)="">
    _rows [curRow] = new TableRowManager (happy [curRow]);
    }

    _columnWidths = columnWidths;
    _horizontalPaddings = horizontalPaddings;
    setSize (numRows);
    setCallback (RENDERER);
    }

    I imagine that your RENDERING engine takes three images for each line and displays those all the row using a drawBitmap (...) for each?

    In any case, the height of the row in the ListField is controlled by the ListField.setRowHeight () method.  You probably want to replace this:

    Screen.Add (new TableListField (tableContent, widths, paddings));

    with

    TabList TableListField = new TableListField (tableContent, widths, paddings);

    tabList.setRowHeight (TopLeft.getHeight () + 1);

    Screen.Add (tabList);

    I hope this helps.

    I would like to have a button in a movie that, once activated, resizes the height and width of the .swf movie, but I don't want anything else on the screen to be adjusted to reflect the change in the size of the movie.

    You want to keep the relationship between the width and height to be the same?

    Click the constraint between width and height to keep the ratio intact.
