Resize the text in a static text box size.

I have the following image. It's for the schools as a product of product/promo of fundraising.

I have green is the text box. I want to adjust the height of the text and width itself based on the amount of text is in the box while keeping a universal text box size. Is it possible to do? Unable to find anything in my research.

The simplistic way to do is to put the text object in an envelope of distortion. Then the text automatically dimensionnera to the size of the envelope. If you want to limit the resizing of the text vertically or horizontally, put the right way (no outline or background) inside the envelope, as well as the text. The path will require the distortion, depending on its length and wheather it is vertical or horizontal. The text can be assigned as a variable.

  • Dialog box options Type does not allow me to resize the text box, please help!

Hello - I use the latest version of Adobe Illustrator CC on Windows 7. I need to make a text box with columns to 32.875 w x 20 h. I use the text tool, draw the box at that size and then open the "type area options" dialog box to specify the column number, gutter width etc. and it automatically resizes the text to 13.888 box w x 13,889 h without fault. I try to type the right width and height in the appropriate space and I hear the windows "error". When I click on 'Preview' show me the box of text resized to 13.888x13.999 so I don't see what I'm doing. It's infuriating, please, someone else had this problem?

I checked the window of 'transformation' - and the 'blocking' to constrain the proportion of width and height is "unlocked."

I has a limit to the width of the columns that you have found. For the size that you want, you will need to do it manually.

  • How resize the text box (box) without stretch text

Hello! I'm editing a brochure in Illustrator CS4. There are blocks of text. I want to make the same width. But when I enter the width, I want... it extends (or fun upward) the text. When I manually stretch the text box, it works fine. But I can't get exactly do this way. Is it possible to enter the width and do NOT have the text distorted when resizing the box? Thank you.

  • Avoid resizing the text box.

    Hi all

I have a field / column as a text box, but I want to be read-only, and to avoid the area of text to be resized.

I managed to set read-only, but the functionality of resizing in the corner at the bottom right is still active.

Even if I put the resizable as not in the column Settings. It still does not work.

    I use APEX version 4.2.5.

Could someone please help to solve the problem?

It is likely to be a feature of the browser you are using (this is why it is so important that you always provide all the details of your environment when you ask a question, in the order that bugs, features, and oddities of the components can be identified quickly and unambiguously).

The effect of setting the Resizable property should delete out of a style="resize: both;" attribute on the textarea element, resulting in the rendered control browser using its default settings. However, the defaults may vary for different browsers (currently), and in some cases, the default value of the browser is to allow resizing.

A simple way to ensure that the control is not resizable is adding explicitly a style="resize: none;" attribute on the textarea element by using the property of the HTML Form element attributes .

  • photo book - move the text box

I'm building my first photo book project - I was able to choose a theme, add images, open 'options', type in the text box, edit the fonts and size and move the text up and down the text box - BUT I couldn't resize the text box or move it to the lowest point in the page.

    - BUT I was unable to resize the text box or move it to the lowest point in the page-

Which is not supported. You should choose a layout that is the text box where you want it.

Click on the Options button in the toolbar, and then select a layout that has a text more large field or to another post.

  • When I Change the size of a Widget/Menu of the text box, the other objects move according to it. How can I stop?

Example: There is an area of text and objects below it. I add more text and the text box size becomes larger.

Then the objects below move downwards.

How can I stop from happening?

    Hi LP700CR7,

This is a default behavior, I'm afraid, it is not possible to stop this behavior at this point in the Muse.

  • I have problems with the resizing of text box. I can only display width or height not both

I'm new to Flash, I was able to create the text box and adjust the width and height, but now can only set the width. The box height is unusable. Did turn something off? I use the horizontal mode.

    Steve

If you have the textfield value "Static Text", then the text space extends vertically so that it contains the text that you type in. You can adjust the width and height will change to accommodate the text content.

If you change the "Input" or "Dynamic" textfield, then you will be able to resize the textfield that you want.

It does show me not LIVE what is happening inside the text box while I'm re-sizing of the text box and the same goes for the area of the image, I hope I could clarify my question.

When resizing of a text box, click and hold for a moment before starting to resize. This will allow to see live redesign.

    Hello

I guess that you speak of text captions, text entry areas.

Have you tried clicking on the Project menu and see if you have a checkmark next to "Autosize Captions? If so, clear the checkbox.

  • How can I make the text in all the boxes down following objects when the text box is changed from 1 to 2 lines?

    Hi people Muse.

I'm faced with a problem of text box:

At the bottom of my page, I have the title "ACTING ERMUTIGEN ZUM". Without any manual adjustment, I was happy to see that the text box pushes down the following objects as soon as the title Exchange of 1 to 2 lines. Point out clearly: I didn t add any point to stop or change any additional settings to achieve this, it just happened automatically and that's exactly what I want to happen.

To my confusion, I can´t find a way to apply this behavior for the second title 'COURAGE OBSERVES UND LOSEN. It s on the same page. When I drag the breakpoint controller in the design-time view from the left to the breakpoint 900 pxor do it in the browser after export of the site, the title changes from 1 to 2 lines, as assumed, , but then the next Don t objects react and stay in the same place they stay when the title takes only 1 line.

You will find the site on businesscatalyst:

I´d appreciates your support very well. I m sure it s not a big problem, but after an hour of re - try and control and do not receive a millimeter in advance, I thought, he could be one of these 'Don t worry - here comes the solution'- Muse hero there, read this. What you...? ;-)

    Thank you in advance.

If you set the text block "ZUM ACTING... "sensitive width via the resizing control, rather than"Stretch to the width of the browser", which will provide the behavior you're looking for.

We will study the design compared to the difference of the browser view. It seems that how items are grouped in resizing behavior is different in the case of elements with parameters width Resize mixed, in the mode of creation of the Muse and the browser.

  • Can't reposition the text boxes or picture!

Hi, I'm having a problem moving around the text box and photo. Before everyone starts screaming 'check your bounding box', that's the first thing I checked, I also checked my edges and they are both correct. I can see the bounding box and I can resize the image, I can't just move it by dragging. Thank you

    Danielle,

Not a suggestion, but troubleshooting: you can move with the arrow keys?

It may turn out to be a sort of corruption, where you can try the list.

The following is a general list of things you can try when the question is not in a specific file and when it is not caused by problems with opening a file from external media, see below. You tried/made some of them already; 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

If possible / there is, you must record a current work first, of course.

    (1) close Illy and open again.

    (2) restart the computer (you can make up at least 5 times);

    (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

    4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you can find the file here:

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Illustrator/KB/preference-file-location-Illustrator.html

    5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

    Even worse, you can:

    (6) (check the box to delete the preferences), run the cleanup tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC) to uninstall and reinstall.

  • Understand the text box

I'm trying to understand and master the elements of text boxes in Muse.

Why some text boxes seem to have a minimum size (sometimes) and cannot be resized to fit the text content?

What does the line in dotted lines in the text box?  It seems to be linked to the entire text box, but I don't see how or why.

It does not appear in certain text boxes?

Why some text boxes have no effect on the BG Image.  for example when... Add text in an INFOCYCLER widget, text size box Exchange (even if there seems to be plenty of room for more text) and the bg image is contained in the size of the changes.

There are many things that will come into force when we add the blocks of text that contains text, such as font, size, spacing between the characters, space after/before, space of text frame, text etc. frame border.

The dotted line indicates a height for the text frame, if you drag the shorter than the text frame, the dotted line will appear. Muse inserts a style property called min-height in the code that tells the browser which frame should be less high and can develop in height, if the content he dictates.

Text pixellisent if we use system so fonts on the browser, the text will be rendered as an image.

    Please go through details here:
