Resolution of the projected image

During the projection of an image of a picture of PP CS6 via a projector screen, the resolution of the image on the screen is very low. The public cannot read the data on the projected image.  The laptop is already on the maximum resolution. I use the operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium on a Toshiba 64 k. Y at - it a Windows setting to the resolution of the image traditionally planned? Thanks for the help.

What is your film resolution and frame rate, interlaced or progressive? First will create and export or make almost any video format if you have the codecs.

Let's say that your film is full HD uncompressed, 1920x1080P. This is unlikely since hard drives and CPUs can choke on codecs uncomrpessed. If your movie has probably been transcoded to friendlier codec. I don't know about Windows Media, but on a Macintosh, we would probably use H.264. If it is still in full size HD, your video card installed is simply not able to read it in full resolution. The film is to be scaled down, pixels are shriveled up and away, thrown to fit on maximum screen size of your card. As your movie 1080, reduced about 30% to 740 at 760, comes in your upscaler is be blown back to 1080. But the information has been lost. All your upscaler can possible do make the blobby parts more large; It cannot replace the pixels that have been lost.

Build your movie in a format 720. Make sure that all your graphics are visible on your editing screen by observing it remotely simulating the environment of the screen. Or, better, to connect the projector to your editor to get an overview of the results.

Or use a device that is able to play 1080 full HD.

  • Captivate 8 widget printing does not print in landscape. impressions full resolution of the project and not only the certificate?

I'm new to Captivate and am responsible to learn how to use Captivate 8.  I must add a certificate of completion at the end of my project and have a lot of questions for which I can't find answers! Please, if anyone can answer these:

    (1) I don't want the certificate to print up to that score the quiz reaches a specific minimum - for example, you need a score of 80% or more to print a certificate.  How do I do this with the print widget?

    (2) the certificate to print without the slide background and resolution of the project - in other words, I want only the image of certificate (with text added for name box) to print in LANDSCAPE, without the user having to do all the settings on their end (choose the landscape to portrait with their printer).  How is this accomplised?

    (3) I want a date on the certificate - how can I add this specific item?

Without a widget of certificate and the use of Flash with this version, I'm confused as to how exactly Captivate offers the ability to print certificates?  I don't know of HTML5 and am uneven with Javascript.  Why a feature such as certificates and the ability to print them would be something illegal?  No tutorials, no clear advice exactly get this popular feature of development of training material.  Me think there should be MUCH easier to achieve, but I am confused at this point.

The solution I found is this:

Do not use the printing of 8 Captivate widget. It simply does not work the way it should be able to work.  Unless you are able to scripts in Actionscript 2.0 and have access to an old version of Captivate, there is no way to work around this bug.

The problem I found is 8 Captivate will allow you only to use Actionscript 3.0 in Flash; You can open the widget in Flash, but you MUST open through Captivate first if you intend to use in Captivate.  So, once you open the widget for adjustments through Captivate, it automatically selects AS 3.0 as scripting language to use, no choice is available.  IF you have Captivate 7 or less, however, it allows you to script in AS 2.0.  I didn't, so I can't help you in the widget script.

What I ended up doing was, I made my own certifcate in Photoshop, saved as a. PNG and added to the last page. Using the internal encoding of Captivate I said the program just go to slide if the quiz was successful.

Print: Go to the fenΩtre > Skin Editor.  On the left are boxes to check the playback bar options - check out 'Show the Playback Control' and then choose your theme. In the drop-down list, choose 'print '.  If you don't want to do anything else on the playback bar, then select the items; Choose where you want the PlayBar to show (I chose the bottom and down to the Center). See below:

You can see the icons on the bottom, in the Center.  The icon on the left is the button print.  It works well, it can be to make choices print in your local print dialog box.  I have to tell him of the landscape print, for example, otherwise, it prints portrait and too small.  But this does not work, and it solves the problem of non-working widgets impression.

  • Change the resolution of the project

After a lot of blood, sweat and tears, I managed to produce a project with a resolution of 925 x 694 pixels. However, the publication resulting from the project is too big for screen resolutions not HD. I therefore either need to lower the resolution of the project without redoing the whole thing again or what SCORM publication, write a piece of code somewhere to tell him to get out at a lower resolution.

Someone had to do it before? If so, can you help me?

    Thank you very much.

    John

Hi, John.  Yes, you can make your smaller resolutiion. You don't mention what version of Captivate you use, but the process is similar to the 3 and 4.

From the Project menu, select scale in project resize or 4 to 3.  If you have version 2, I don't remember that far back.

This process cannot be undone, so save a copy before you try it.

If you reduce the size of your project, you then have two choices: either resize the project or crops.  Do not forget that the scaling will result in poor quality screen images.  If you decide to crop, you can then select which part of the screen to keep - and can even select a different portion on each slide.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to check the resolution of the related images?

    Hi all

Could someone guide me to write a script of the Illustrator who will check the resolution of the image file file linked in PPP?

    Thanks in advance,

With the help of Sonic, I was able to make it work for me. I have only tested with .psd, .tif and .jpeg

  • Artifacts and low resolution in the poster image

Hi, I have real problems with poor quality poster image / final, still the video coverage.

I have a mp4 H.264 that I created in After Effects and inserted using the media panel in the DPS.

As you see below, he plays on loading the page, and I chose the cover over to be the image of the poster when she ends of in the Panel inlays of Folio. I put the video to stop on the last page.

When the video stops, you can see all the artifacts around the text that I expect to be as sharp as the original PSD file, I downloaded as the poster image.

I am doing wrong or is there something that can further improve the quality of the final? Is the same poster displayed image or is it the last frame of the video? (I guess that's the case)

    I hope you can help.

    Thank you

    I've sorted it!

Abandoned altogether the poster image and re-created the elements of the film that I would like in InDesign on the page and the film plays to the end and finally reveals the page under. I was overloading the things.

  • Change the resolution of a project in iMovie 10.1

    Hello

I'm doing a movie with iMovie 10.1 and for some reason any iMovie set my project at 4 K resolution, but I only need 720 p. Is it possible that I can change the resolution of the project? In the project settings, it shows the 4K, but I don't see an option where I change.

    Thanks for your answers...

A draft resolution is defined by the first clip that you put in the timeline.  Create a new project, then put a 720 p clip in the timeline panel.  After that copy and paste all the old project into the new.  You can now delete the first clip if you wish.

  • Resolution of the image when you place the InDesign file in InDesign

I feel like this is a silly question but I do not know the answer!

If I place an InDesign file that contains a picture in a another InDesign, the resolution of the original image file is kept? For example, if I have an InDesign A5 file, that contains a chart where the ppi effective (because it's been reduced) is 600 dpi, and then I place the entire InDesign file it in another file and EXPAND, what happens to my graph?

    Thank you!

I have a document with an InDesign file linked, an area of text that is used in many documents, so interested in this issue.

I did a quick test and it seems to work as it should. I made a smaller file with an image linked and bound the Indesign file in a larger document, and since it is a linked InDesign file it recognizes and displays the image in the links Panel.

  • How to change the resolution of the image without actually modifying its size?

So I'm changing the resolution of the 100 images at 300, but they are all different sizes, so I tried to use the function of the size of the Image to change the resolution, but it also changes size of the images. So, how can I without changing the size of the image?

    1. you must resample.

    2. you can automate the process.

    1.

    Open one of the images.

Go to Image > Image size

Set the units of percent (100)

Change the resolution to 300 dpi (not cm!)

    Do Resample is checked

    2 Automation

Test the steps above to make sure it works.

Save the steps as an action.

Make a droplet of the action.

Drag the folder with the images of gout.

  • Images imported into the project lose color / white turn.

So, I'm working on a project of typography. The majority of the video is in black and white with the exception of a few items in all. It was quite well until a few hours ago, when I started working on it yet. The color has been lost in the pictures, and instead they were whiter. I don't know if I clicked on what, or what happened. This goal is one of the objects. As you can see it's red. When I imported what it looked like to other image and I can't seem to restore. It records still red when I roll the mouse over it and if I double click on it the iwndow jumps to the top of the object and it is red. Any suggestions? Any help is very appreciated. Thank you.Screen Shot 2015-08-26 at 12.43.56 AM.pngsnoopysnippe.png

You can see the alpha chanel. Check the little icon just to the left of the settings of resolution at the bottom of the Composition Panel.

    You should look at RGB.

  • Lightning to a resolution of the camera the incompatible SD card reader image

I use the lightning to drive camera SD card with my iPhone 6 more (iOS 9.3.5) and MacBook Pro running Photos:

    Version 1.5 (370.42.0)

    Digital camera RAW 6.20 (856)

Digital Camera Support RAW 6200 (233)

Import RAW files from my Olympus EM10 on my iPhone, and then when I discovered the images in the Photos on my Mac I see incompatible resolution information.

These are two consecutive images taken with identical settings...

Drag the two images of Photos on my desktop (export in JPEG) then they have the correct resolution information...

Also interesting. If I import these pictures directly on my Mac via the built in card reader, I do not see this problem.

OK - when you import on an IOS device (the exact details are better ask in the forum iPad since it does not involve the Mac or Photos for the Mac somehow - it's strictly an IOS feature) in certain circumstances the maximum resolution is 2400 x 3200

Your best solution is to import directly to your Mac

  • How can I increase the resolution of a scanned image. It's about 200 dpi and I want about 600.

I have a Hp Officejet J4680 all-in-one printer/scanner. When I scan in an image and save it as a jpeg, the resulting image is about 200 dpi. I need a higher resolution. The data sheet says 1200 dpi is available, but I do not see how to choose the size of resolution. Thank you!

    Let's try this

    Open HP Solution Center.

Click "scan picture". A new window will open.

In the left part of the window, under shortcuts scan select "scan picture".

On the right, select image under the type of analysis.

Below this "Advanced picture settings' tab is present. Click on it. A new window will open.

The resolution is given here. Click on drop down menu, then select your desired resolution. After you only click 'OK '. Click on scan.

    I hope it works!

If the resolution is already less than 300, may not increase to make it higher. You can only do low.

Yes, you can increase the DPI value.
