Restart the server from connection - disconnects all Clients of PCoIP

We are beginning (fortunately) in a deployment of view 4.5 and have still running production desktop computers.  We have recently improved from 4.1 to 4.5, and during the upgrade we restarted our connection to the primary server view.  When we did that, PCoIP 10 clients or if we had connected all disconnected - which caused us a lot of trouble, as we plan to deploy several hundred.

What I've read, PCoIP are supposed to be direct connections and clients and not need the broker after the connection is established.  I looked for the "direct connection" setting, but don't see anything like that, given Admin.

Is it normal that all customers would be disconnected on the loss of the broker?  Is it possible to prevent this?

Thank you
Sean

It is an expected behavior, if we had feature requests to change. For a bit of background to the explanation, there is two session types at play here that I call the broker session (session authenticated directly to the broker) and the desktop session (user session track on remote desktop).

When you connect to a session of office through the broker, he has associated with the session broker so that the expiration of the broker session (via explicit logout or the value of the overall delay defined in the admin INTERFACE) it can disconnect by force the desktop session. Essentially, when you turn off the broker properly it will cancel all broker ILA sessions, each looking for sessions connected user, then issue a disconnection request to the agent as with a normal expiration. In the case of an accident equipment/failure of the broker direct connect sessions will not be affected.

  • Install of new problem-unable to connect to the server from a remote client DB.

    Hi experts,

I am new to set up a server oracle so pls bear with me...

I have install a db Server (11g on top of Oracle Linux 64 bit) home (192.168.1.90 static). I checked that db, listener are running. However, I tried to connect to the server from a different client machine (192.168.1.108) within my home network, but the server is not reachable. I got a ping from client and the server using IP addresses and host names. I followed the following steps to troubleshoot but could not go beyond the step 3, the server on port 1521 telnet-ing. Can someone help me what I need to do to make the port # (1521) is accessible by the customer?

    1. check with the 'ping' using the IP ('ping 198.11.34.43'
    2. check with 'ping' using the DNS (for example "tnsping uranus")
    3. try telnet to the IP address on port 1521 (telnet 1.2.3.4 1521)
    4. check with "tnsping" using the TNS service name
5 call SQL * more of the line command «sqlplus fred@flintstone» operating system If this does not work, make sure your receiver is the defined service of flintstone.
6 sign - on to SQL * more and connect with the name TNS ('connect fred/flintstome@service_name'
    7 in SQL *, try a select table@remote_db_link

Thank you very much in advance.

    (1) problem can be because of the firewall. Please check if the firewall turned on for your environment
    (2) check sqlnet.ora, you can allow requests only from specific systems

  • HEX 0x8BBB0011 as the connection to the server has been disconnected

    Hello

I use a shared variable of the network to control a loop in FPGA in cRIO 9073. 1 for a month, the program was runing without any problem, but suddenly, the VI is thrwoing an error

"HEX 0x8BBB0011 connection to the server has been disconnected.

The error or warning occureed while writing the following shared variable

    \\NW-cRio\NW Library\NW_Force_cal

    \\169.254.106.130\NW Library\NW_Force_cal ".

A screenshot of VI is fixed, the NW_Force_cal is highlighted.

After the VI has been shut down and restart the VI took over running without problems. This kind of unpredictable behavior is very difficult to manage, I lost data in real time during 12 hours of recording because of this problem.

Please suggest a solution for this problem.

    Thank you

    Guilhem

The error has explained the issue.  The network had problems that led to the server being offline.  How to solve this problem is to understand what is meant by "real time".  It's just another way to describe a deterministic calculation.  In other words, the program ensures that everything will happen within a predetermined period.  Order things to be deterministic, they must be controllable.  The most obvious way to break the determinism is to prompt the user for entry.  As we cannot guarantee clearly not the user will respond within a given period, can no longer call the deterministic program.  In this case, we have a more subtle break of determinism.  Relying only on a network will break determinism.  It is not simply a way to ensure that the network is not getting hit harder than usual.  In this case, the network was down for a period of time long enough to raise an error.

Here's where we get to fix things.  Once the error has been generated, the code to do with it?  The wire of the error is not used for anything else.  I expect to raise an error and stop the program.  Clearly this isn't the desired behavior.  So, why we do not use the wire for an error handling?  In case of error, you can connect the data locally.  When you cover the network, you can clear the log to the host PC that you usually use to collect your data.  This command removes the dependency of your network for the code works.  With the help of a more robust code solves the problem with the relatively easy error management.  Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing anyone here can do to ensure your network never loses connectivity.

  • Open a local copy or move on the server, and then disconnect while the task is running until the end

    RNOS6 running on RNDU600 +.

Looking to start a local copy or move of the large collection of files on the server, and then disconnect the PC while the task is running until the end. For example, to move a branch of several hundreds of GB of small files from one share to another, or copy them to a share.

Seems to make my PC (in wireless) is inefficient as each file seems to have sent to the PC first, then return to the NAS.

Is there a way of ordering on the NAS, so that it can continue the operation even if the PC is disconnected?

I just got a new Windows 7 computer, and it has many applications in this shift makes the apps that I really need. How can I completely restart the computer world and lose all files, applications, etc., that came with the computer first

If these are apps you added and want more, you can use the functionality of your computer factory restore. Unfortunately, this erases the disk and leave you with a double précis of his State when you turned on for the first time.  Then, you would have to do all the updates of Windows and then install all the programs you want.

Otherwise, use programs uninstaller (from Control Panel) for each application that you do NOT want to uninstall.

  • How do you know hyperthreading enabled or disabled on the Windows 2003 EE server without restarting the server to the BIOS setting

    a small question:

I have a server with AMD64 (8 CPUs), ~2.3GHz, I want to know if Hyperthrreading is enabled or not, how can I check the setting without restarting the server?
I am about if HT enabled will allow the server to get better performance?

    Thank you
