Restore from Recycle Bin
Oracle Database Enterprise 11.1.0.7 and 11.2.0.1If I drop a table, it deletes the Index and the associated triggers...
the table appears in the trash...
If I restore the table (keeping the original name)
the index or trigger returns with it, but they won't go back to their original name...
they become BIN$ * (random text)
and I have to drop and recreate them to retrieve their names...
How to make their return with their original names too... (outside the use of flashback or restore from dump)
I was wondering if I improperly use the trash...

You can drag-and - drop the TRASH, as well as for the trash. It will probably be easier if you change the 'view' of the folder to 'List' Recycle bin and then use the Windows standard click-shift-click to select a batch of files to drag to your destination folder specified.

Cannot restore files recycle bin
I accidentally sent items to the Recycle Bin and have not been able to recover. I am told that access is denied. I'm the only user, so I am the administrator, but it seems not to matter. I followed the instructions for:- Right-click on the file or folder and then click Properties.
Click the Security tab.
Click a user name or group under group or user names
The only problem is that when I right click on the file, I do not have a Properties tab. I know that there must be another way to restore these files, but I don't know what it is. Help?

Restoring files from Recycle Bin
I was storing my important files and remove repeated versions. I can still see those I intend to keep, but is there a link between the original file and deleted the one of the same name in the trash. Just check before you empty the trash bin and find that I've lost everything! My reason for this is I want to compress the files that I have left, but my c: / drive is currently too full.

See other responses you got and let me add the following:
1. I highly recommend against compression. It can slow you down and increase the risk of problems.
2. If you have very little free hard disk space, there are various thingsyou can do to save space, but they are essentially temporary. In no time, you find yourself in the same situation. Permanent solutions are to replace your drive with a bigger, or add a second drive.
