Hello
Restoration of the system and make backups are two different things.
System Restore is to put your computer settings to an earlier date: yesterday, or last week, etc. (data are not altered during this process.)
Backing up is backup of data or make a System Image.
If you have problems with the system restore, this can help you:
1. If you are using Norton, you should disable Norton inviolable Protection before using the system restore.
http://Service1.Symantec.com/support/sharedtech.nsf/pfdocs/2005113009323013
2. try to use Safe Mode system restore.

3 Malware will stop at the system restore.
Download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware, if necessary in Mode safe mode with networking:

And here's how to go in Safe Mode options; Select safe mode with networking from the list of options:

Hello
I would like to know if there is a microsoft tool or a suggested list of Microsoft that could help me restore the system and the system configuration files in the appropriate State. is not the restoration of the system. I don't know of retoring my computer to an earlier time, nor on the restoration of computer purchase.
I thought that my computer has been compromised in some way, and the intruder was accessing my unit via some sort of connection distance.
I received the support of the malicious software company, and I think that my computer is fine now.
And so the question with which I opened this post: I would like to know if there is a Microsoft tool or a suggested list of Microsoft that would help me to restore the system and the system configuration files in the appropriate State. I'm not taling about system restore. I speak not of retoring my computer to an earlier time.
Whenever I start to notice the strange behaviour of my computer, I would like to launch this program and follow this procedure to reset all the settings and files to a suitable State. The reason why run alone to detect malware problems, and that if there is remote access to my computer inadvertently, the intruder can do a lot of editing of files which is not identified by the malware. and I believe that if I was able to run a program like this, all the changes took place, which expose my device, but the rules of behavior systems can be reversed for a proper state.
I read an article on how to repair my operating system, but it forced me to get a copy of it; However, given that the supplied operating system with preinstalled on this computer, I could not follow the instructions. Article I read to all system and configuration files that meet the standards of the manufacturer, without losing files and installed programs.
Thank you
Hello
Already, you mention that you can do; either a repair installation.
"How to do a repair installation to repair Windows 7"
http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.htmlAnd make sure that read you all the information under 'warning'.
It also tells you what drives you can and cannot use to do.

You can use this to fix the corrupted system files.
"Command SFC/scannow - System File Checker.

But if SFC detect serious errors in the file system, you may need to do a repair installation as in the instructions in the first part of this answer.

Have you tried to add your account to the list of permissions for the directory of system restore, etc. If this does not work, then try to disable user account control and see if that is the question.
To disable UACClick Startand then click Control Panel. In Control Panel, click user accounts.
In the user accounts window, click user accounts.
In the user accounts tasks window, click turn on UAC enabled or disabled.
If UAC is currently configured in Admin Approval Mode, the user account control message appears. Click continue.
Clear the check box use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer , and then click OK.
Click restart now to apply the changes immediately, or click restart later and close the user accounts tasks window.
If disable UAC does not help with the creation of a system restore point, try the following:

Follow the article below for instructions on the msconfig configuration (clean boot).

I had to spend my PC this morning. Moving it, I decided to implement a new network card. When I reconnected it all the cables, I plugged my USB mouse on another USB port where it had been plugged in before. The computer is more than 7 years old and I've never had a problem with the front Windows Validation. I have a valid license for Windows XP key code, so why the system tells me it is not currently active or real? When Windows checks to see if you have moved your copy of Windows to "another computer", among other things, that his focus on the identification of several strands of material in the computer to see if they are different than when Windows was first installed. I do not remember the list for now, but I remember that the network card is one of the pieces - and IIRC it is 'valuable' higher than others to reach the conclusion.
You probably other elements has changed over the past seven years and now Windows has decided to have a "new" computer Assuming that you haven't changed the motherboard - if you had, you would have had this issue at the time wherever you did--your installation is still legal. Reactivate using your original license key. It should work online, but you will need to call the number that appears in the error message from re - validate.

From my computer, my password is not correct no doubts, but the system said that it is not, ran maleware advast and no problem. Would it be a glich in the updates? Is this a battery problem? When it is plugged in, it works after the 5 or greater.
Him begins the article with some basic steps you can take and then work upwards through more complicated methods where the easiest do not solve the problem. Please read the intro, but this looks like a corrupted user profile that needs fixing or replacement.
Follow the precautionary measures later in the thread as well.
You could be up & running again within an hour, probably less.
