Result of vulnerability analysis shows Sun Java JDK / JRE / SDK Multiple Vulnerabilities

Analysis of vulnerabilities by Kaspersky Anti Virus showed Sun Java JDK / JRE / SDK Multiple vulnerabilities in my laptop Vista Home Basic 32-bit computer. Looking for solutions for

In Kaspersky, if you click on the little details, it will bring up a full description of the possibility. It may look technically daunting, but generally if you scroll down there is a statement of how to fix the vulnerability. In most cases, it simply means updated the web browser plugin or program. In your case, it may simply mean Java update by visiting www.java.com and get the free update.

Note that a vulnerability detected is not to say that your PC is infected with malware. It simply means that a security breach has been detected that could potentially be exploited by a person in certain circumstances.

  • Copy to the Windows Clipboard - Plugin Sun Java

Recently updated our database of 10.2.0.4 at 11.2.0.4.0 and in this framework improved our Jinitiator to Sun Java Plugin 1.4 application server. Forms are 10g.

We have some forms with blocks, which are blocks of result, and they are read-only. Jinitiator users could highlight data, hold the left click and use CTRL + C to copy the data to the Clipboard. After the upgrade to Sun Java Plugin, users can always highlight the text but copy it to the Clipboard does not work.

I have 1.6.0_33 installed JRE and you have tested on _20, _24 & _45 and all in the same sense.

I tried the solution listed here https://blogs.oracle.com/kyle/entry/copy_and_paste_in_java but in vain.

Someone knows something similar and if so is there a resolution?

    Thank you

    Hi Michael

Thanks for your advice in this. After some research, our forms had ONCE - level triggers NEW - ITEM - INSTANCE block, moving the focus to another field.

JInitator has allowed us to run CTRL + C while holding down the left button of the mouse. YPI Sun does not allow the CTRL + C to run by holding down the left mouse button.

    Thank you

  • How upgrade to Java JDK 1.7 on Ubuntu Unix Server 12?

Well, I just installed Ubuntu Server 12, and, I'm trying to get Java JDK 1.7 to run in the unix box, so I took the easy way, and it seems like there is a Variant named "ice tea" which is based on the 1.6. During the research (research) in the file system a file named java exists in/usr/bin, and it is the embedded version of java, which is not the last. Is Ubuntu Server still unsupported by Oracle?

Then I only typed sudo apt - get install, jdk and sudo apt - get install java however, no package is located. Does this mean I have to install the JDK by downloading it via the browser, or can Oracle make available to users of apt - get?

Unfortunately, Oracle Virtual Box does not seem to be a way to copy and paste the contents of the screen, and it would be impossible to download a snapshot set when I just need to show a subset of what I typed in my friends here in the forum.

Oracle didn't need to support anything, other than to provide a version of Linux from OpenJDK. How the plethora of different flavors of Linux manages the installation of the software essentially belongs to the people who manage the distribution.

And less than 10 seconds looking at the first page of the icedtea indicates that the most recent versions are based on OpenJDK 7. Installation instructions are also there. A quick google for "icedtea ubuntu server" gave me this:

  • Stop Java JDK pop up

My understanding is that I don't need Java on my iMac. I think I've eliminated it with zero problems. However I get a very annoying pop up asking me to install Java JDK (Java Development Kit). Even if somehow I need (or need to) Java, I certainly useless the JDK. (I have no intention of ever using any development kit).

When I look for a solution to this (as I did market for 50-100 hours, using many different phrases of the number), 95% of the suggestions explain how to correctly install the JDK, while the rest are basically irrelevant. It must be me, because people thank the people for their solutions "," which involves installing something that I don't want or need (and possibly presents a security risk).

At this point, I don't expect a solution. Still, I thought I would give it one last shot.

    Thank you
    TomBomb1

The only way that I got rid of this annoying message is to remove the Java preferences window.

  • Steps to encrypt the attribute in Sun Java (TM) System Directory Server/5.2?

    Hi all

I installed Sun Java (TM) System Directory Server/5.2, which uses LDAP to the 6.0 (TAM) of Tivoli Access Manager.

LDAP has been installed on a separate server as well as the TAM (NPS server, server authorization) components.

I would like to encrypt an attribute (lets say UID) in LDAP as the attribute of password that is encrypted during installation of the software. So, what are all the steps I must follow to the encryption of the attribute. Help, please.

    Hello

In addition to you that DS5.2 is an OLD memory, OBSOLETE, not supported, version... and I strongly suggest you move on to a current version (ODSEE 11.1.1.7.2)...

However, the steps are explained in the official documentation available:

Sun Java System Directory Server 5.2 Product Documentation for the library

    and specifically to guide Administration:

I need to convert Office Documents using Java JDK running in the Linux VM to PDF without human interaction, is this possible? How?

It could be a service web or other solutions, but it should work on Linux and must be callable from java.

You shot yourself in the foot because with accuracy of conversion of Office documents requires Office. Which requires Mac or Windows (preferably Windows). Solution server of Adobe's LiveCycle PDF generator. Has a Java interface, but you will need Windows server for it.

  • Sun Java System Identity Synchronization for Windows and Console Server

I came in an environment with ODSEE 11 g installed using Identity Synchronization for Windows 6.0.

The problem is that the person who has installed and the admin is not available any more. Thus, when you try to use the Sun Java System Server Console, instead of an icon next to synchronize identity for Windows, all I have is an empty square box. When I connected to the server, the program will download some files jar, isw2010.116.1139_en.jar and isw2010.116.1139.jar.

I don't know how to get the icon next Identity Synchronization for Windows so I can actually view the settings.

Any help would be appreciated and generous.

You'll at least need a few additional ones that depend on these and the following. Make sure the directory it's in are in the path.

    libnspr4.dll
    libplc4.dll
