your version of sun java Scheduler is not compatible with this version of windows

Whenever I turn on my computer this message comes up (your version of sun java Scheduler is not compatible with this version of windows). I went to the java website and they say that I have the latest version of java, and my computer is slow when you try to access some games that I play and require that I have java. I don't know if this is the problem or not but I would like to get this java thing fixed so it isn't pop up whenever I connect.

Uninstall all versions of Java from your Control Panel programs and features.

Turn it back on.

Download and install the latest version here:
http://Java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
(I suggest the Windows 7, XP (32 bit) offline file size: 16.0 MB - save and run as administrator to install.)
