  I have a SWF file (AS3) I'm embedding in Captivate 7.

  I have the commands in the file SWF Captivate a pause until the SWF is done playing, then he will resume the Captivate slide at the end of the embedded SWF file.

  I would like to be able to trigger the 'Next' button on the blade so that it appears when the SWF file is finished.  I've included a variable 'videoDone' on the blade and the SWF successfully assigns to the variable '1' when it is complete.

  #2 placed lower in the timeline panel and looks after the SWF file finishes.

  StageWebView is an air 2.5, or the best class.  StageWebView not available for exe or swf embedded in html.

  The problem is probably in the Actionscript in the SWF part.  HTML and javascript are not part of this picture.  I would say that you have a problem in the way you created the button.

  Just so that you know, Flash elements are best used only non critics, mainly cosmetic.

  There was a third file generated when you publish. It is named, "AC_RunActiveContent.js". You should also download this file to your server.

  I try to add an automatic start looping video of my folio with HTML code, because the DPS video options still don't allow video loop.

  My training department uses articulate them Storyline 2.4 to create .swf.

  If the story is called by the \\servername\share\story.html (or .swf) the embedded video will not play. The animation within the .swf works fine.

  If the story is called by the X:\story.html (or .swf) the embedded video plays very well.

  I understand the work around is to map the letter drive, but for security reasons, I am unable to do this.

  Does anyone have an idea about it or an official statement of Adobe that said UNC are not supported?

  If the problem is that a SWF file that you use as source footage has been changed, it is because you have the preference enabled to write XMP metadata to imported files. Which turns off. (It is disabled by default in the current versions of After Effects.) This preference is in the Media & Disk Cache preferences category.

• How to see the size of my SWF in Flash CC?

  In previous versions of Flash, I used to hit command + B to open the bandwidth Profiler and see the details of my SWF, as many executives, the duration (in seconds) and more importantly still-file size.

  I see that the bandwidth Profiler is now obsolete, so how can I access this info now? Especially how to display my SWF size without going to view the file in the finder and press "Get Info"?

  You can get the info from the size of the historical section of the SWF in the properties panel when you test your movie (Ctrl/cmd + enter)

  Make sure that nothing is selected on the stage, and the selection tool is selected in the tools Panel.

• Embedded the swf using the external video (FLVPlayback) error #2035 / #2044

  I struggled with this a lot recently, and I don't even know if it's at all possible.

  I am currently working on a project where I am incorporating a .swf inside another .swf.

  The built-in .swf file however also uses the external videos FLVPlayback to load component, this is where the problem starts.

  When you publish the .fla project I get the 2035 # IOErrorEvent when tracing the problem I get the #2044, it is to be expected however.
  

  The embedded swf is always looking for external videos, but since the new ROOT is the swf file, in which it is integrated, it will not find these videos.

  I need to know if there is a way I can specify or link these external videos required by the embedded swf file FLVPlayback component.

  I really can't be bothered again all the video content and their incorporation in the timeline.

  The code inside the SWF will trigger these errors will occur if you don't have the source for sovereign wealth funds to stop it.

  When you load a SWF, that SWF data, including all embedded resources that it contains, is presented in SWF files. You can unload the SWF using Loader.unload () and it will claim the memory for embedded resources, but as much as I know there is no way to unload class definitions (although these should not be significant in terms of memory use). If you unload the SWF, however, you can't use any of its embedded resources.

  There is no redundancy in Flash Player when you load a SWF file - it does not multiple copies of the raw bytes of image data embedded for example. However, it retains a separate image copy decoded - it never destroyed the original data (unless dereference you the image and it gets garbage collector), so that he is able to do optimization of the elimination of the decompressed image, if it is running out of memory and you are not to use it and recreate later when you need to use it again (see the discussion here for some more details) (: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5342232). The only difference, as far as image assets are concerned, between their load directly with a charger and their incorporation in a SWF file, is that the former will appear under 'Images' in Scout and the second under "SWF files".   is the flv almost 2.5 MB? If so, your only option to significantly reduce swf size is to load the FLV dynamically (which is not usually allowed with banner ads).
