  I am new to Lightroom and using a forum so I hope I'm doing this right.

  Problem: 09/05/15 I tried to find a missing file. Doing so I went to where my backups are stored and clicked on the different back ups - and revived one of them. I'm assuming THAT I would be able to return to the catalog I was working while my system crashed or anything. Of course the second I opened a backup I thought so - OO, I bet that I should have done a backup of all - but too late. I went into the recently opened catalog and I can open only those of my backup location that I had opened. Is it possible to display a longer list of recent catalogs? If I could go down a catalogue over on the list, it should be that I worked in the 05/09/15. My last backup was 02/09/15 (which I did) - but there no changes that I made to the photos on the 05/09/15. Please tell me that all is not lost. I have a working days which does not bother me again - but the biggest problem is that I don't have a way to know what records, I made arrangements in so I wasn't on a list, it was random.

  I'm on a PC - if I did a restore of the system to 09/05/15 - which would give me my catalog of 09/05/15?

  I hope I explained this in a way that makes sense. I'm really stressed, what is lost is a customer. Help, please.

  Your catalog of 09/05/15 work is still on one of your hard drives, everywhere where it was when the problem occurred. Lightroom does not delete it or destroy. Use your operating system to find all files whose name ends in. LRCAT and then open each one (double-click on it) until find you the one you want (it will likely be the date 05/09/15).

  Your work is saved automatically in Lightroom. Once you find and open this catalog file, your job will be there, and if you wish you can export it as needed.

  Backups should not be stored on the same drive as your catalogue of work. This isn't a good idea. Backups must go on a different physical disk than the catalog of work.

• Does not illuminate VAPP deployed to the public catalog

  I created a Public catalogue and exported a file to ovf Nexus 1000v in this catalogue. Since it's Public catalogue it has the rights to publish this catalogue to all organizations.

  I have an organization named "developers". This organization is able to refer to the public catalog and deploy a new TIME of it. I see on vCenter new VAPP appearing under the pool of developer resources. But this TIME lighting fails with the error message below

  Problem is with your catalog here.

  Nexus is suppose to work with vcloud Director in parallel integration. do not deploy inside like a paralytic. And NExus have its own requirement that interact with the dvswitch. I will propose you can deploy some other TIME like windows/linux and see if it works.

  I followed, you say, delete the virtual machine / vApp and create a new. Which means you repeat and will essentially have two copies of the model while the linked clones exist off the coast of the original.

  I have a VAPP catalog called "Kit Apache v1.0".  He is a master VAPP gold with a consolidated record (1 chain linked clone).

  Now, I need to update this TIME because there was an update that came through for Apache or mySQL.

  I copy this paralytic to "My Cloud" and call it "Kit Apache v1.0 - ongoing update.  This new VAPP has a string length of 2, assuming that fast Provisioning is enabled.  If this isn't the case, then the length of the string is always 1.

  I apply my updates to this paralytic and then copy it to the catalogue as "Apache Kit v1.5" which has a string length of 3 If quick Provisioning is enabled.

  Now my catalog has 2 vApps in it, "Kit v1.5 Apache" and «Apache Kit v1.0»

  At this point I can remove "Kit Apache v1.0" and not evil "Apache Kit v1.5" or "Kit Apache v1.0 - ongoing update.

  Having a devil of a time with this portable darn. So I bought the recovery dvd. tried to boot from the disk and comes with no OS bootable. Thinking it could be a problem with the optical drive, I created a bootable usb key.

  So I goto Toshiba Recovery Wizard
  Press Yes to say it will wipe the drive.
  Retrieves the software factory default
  In the end, I get an error message

  Error: 003
  Recovery error

  Press ok to start the computer

  The only thing I can think is that maybe when I created the USB startup key should I copy then disk2 on the stick as well using xcopy.

  I don t think that there might be a problem with the optical disc drive.
  From my point of view, it could be a bad BIOS setting.

  The Satellite Pro L870-172 has been pre-installed with the system Win 8.
  Please check start secure as well as the UEFI boot mode option in the BIOS.

  Generally, in order to be able to boot from different devices to boot, secure boot must be disabled.
