Reverse symbols?

When I type the symbol @ the "symbol appears... the contrary happens when I type the" symbol. Can anyone help please?

You have found a difference between a "British English" and a "US English" keyboard.  Look at these two keyboards on the site and see if your differences are explained by one or the other keyboard:
     <>http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Keyboard_layout >
At this point, you should go to your--> regional settings control panel and examine which shows of keyboard as your default keyboard layout.  A keyboard US English ANSI will be the '@' symbol as a Shift-2, while a UK-English ISO keyboard will have the symbol "as a Shift-2.

    Hi, James.

    You can save the State using a variable and whenever you click on check the status of the variable.  This article I wrote last year, explains how the simple state management (just search for the two words "State management" in this post):

  • Reversed name appears in the index under 'Symbol' rather than 'A', 'B', 'C '...

    Hello

    I wrote a simple script that quickly adds a reference section and page (first level) to an index. It seemed to work OK, then I am ambitious and tried to write another script, this time one that reverses the order of a first name and family name where there is a space between them. But now, even if the name is duly reversed, it appears in the Index panel under 'symbol' rather than the first letter of the family name.

    I would be very grateful for any help.

    Thank you, Jeremy

    myDocument var = app.activeDocument;

    myIndex = myDocument.indexes.item var (0);

    var myMarker = app.selection [0];

    var myText = myMarker.contents;

    myDialog = app.dialogs.add var ({name: "Add entry index with the range at the end of the Document", canCancel:true});})

    {with (MyDialog)}

    {with (dialogColumns.add ())}

    var myTextEditField = textEditboxes.add ({minWidth, editContents:myText:200});})

    }

    }

    Ditto var = myDialog.show ();

    if(myResult == true) {}

    var myIndexTerm = myTextEditField.editContents;

    myDialog.destroy ();

    var myBreak = myIndexTerm.indexOf(' ');

    var mySurName = myIndexTerm.slice (myBreak);

    myFirstName var = myIndexTerm.slice (0, myBreak);

    var myReversedName = mySurName + ', ' + myFirstName;

    var myTopic = myIndex.topics.add (myReversedName);

    myTopic.pageReferences.add (myMarker, PageReferenceType.TO_END_OF_DOCUMENT);

    myTopic.name = myReversedName;

    }

    Jeremy,

    The contents of your myReversedName variable begins with a space: the problem is in this line:

    > var mySurName = myIndexTerm.slice (myBreak);

    He grabs the space between the first and last name. So, because your topic name starts with a space, it is placed in the section of symbol. Apparently, ID has a mechanism to correct this and removes the space when you click on the element. Instead, use this:

    > var mySurName = myIndexTerm.slice(myBreak+1);

    In addition, you can use GREP JavaScript to change the name and first name:

    > myReversedName = myIndexTerm.replace (/ ([^] +) (. +) /, "$2, $1");

  • Why I get a symbol "prohibited" by trying to use a brush to paint on a reverse mask?

    I use CS6 and I packed a layer mask to paint with a brush of point clouds, but for some strange reason, I get a forbidden symbol whenever I have pass the brush on the canvas, making it so I can't paint! How would I fix this? None of my layer are locked either and I have already tried to reset the Brush tool, as well.

  • How can I play an animation in reverse only if the symbol that contains the animation is visible? If the symbol is not visible have the trigger is no longer target this symbol?

    Hello

    I have a button made two functions at the same time. He plays animation a symbol upside down (to hide) and she slides an element. the animation of symbols is triggered by another button (which is irrelevant). So my problem is that if the animation has been triggered, first that when the button is pressed the animation plays in the sense opposite, the symbol is hidden and everything is fine, but if a helping hand as the button before the animation starts to blink in the opposite direction. SO, how can I learn to play the opposite during the animation of the symbol has run. I know that it is an if / else statement but I have no idea how to do it.

  • Satellite L750D-14F - slash button reverse does not

    Two weeks ago I just bought a Toshiba laptop model Satellite L750D-14F running Windows 7 and I cannot get backslash on the keyboard button to work.

    It produces no character at all.
    All other keys work fine and the symbol above it works fine using the SHIFT key.

    Any suggestions?
    Thank you very much.

    Hello

    In my case, the backslash is placed to the right of the 0 key.
    I have to press ALT GR and reverse this button to get the slash.

    However, I assume that your question is not related to the language of the keyboard wrong or bad use of key combination button is malfunctioning.

    As far as I know you can't replace one button. Only the key caps are perhaps you need a new removable keyboard.
    But since the laptop seems to be covered by the warranty, you must fix this problem for free.

  • Will not reverse - help!

    I'm trying to add a filling of solid color, for then reverse, then painting on the skin of the subjects. It's a step, I followed another photographer, however my photoshop isn't allowing me to do the same thing.

    I add a solid color fill, selecting multiply and at 30% opacity, then trying to invert-, but it is not allowing me to reverse! I'm getting shortcut command - I also tried to manually no reverse, no chance.

    Is there something I could have disabled in my settings to allow the color fill is not to reverse? I'm certainly of the selected layer mask. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you

    I think that the photographer had this in mind.

    1. open an image

    2. Add a layer of white

    3 Edition > fill with color, the photographer suggested (I guess a color similar to the one I used)

    4. change the blending Mode to multiply and the opacity to 30%

    -Now comes the part that you have misunderstood:

    5 hold down the Option (Alt) key and click on the symbol of the mask in the layers panel. He will place a black mask - rather than the usual white mask - in the layer above the image. (The Option key 'inverse' mask color)

    6. with the selected mask, use the soft brush-lined to paint on the face in white in the image. White appears in the mask.

    As I said at the beginning, I think that's what was in the mind of the photographer.

  • playReverse the symbol that has nested symbols in order

    Dropbox - AE - TEST 3

    Hello

    Having a problem with the playReverse method. Basically, I would like to know if you can playReverse a symbol animation that nested symbol/animations?

    Above dropbox link is the project file.

    In the attached draft 3 Test, I have symbol called "animation-4-master. In this context there is 2 symbols, 'animation-4-start' and "animation-4" which play in sequential order."

    In the project, I have two theses keys 'BEFORE' and 'Backward'.

    What should happen is when you press the next button, the symbol/animation parent plays forward, play animations nested in the order, that is fine.

    When I do the opposite which is playReverse, the parent timeline goes to the end where it should, but then only plays the 2nd animation (animation-4) and he plays forward, not even back. The first nested animation (animation-4-start) do not even get played.

    I have inserted console.log markers to indicate points of 3 position both forward and reverse, so here goes, how do you know what makes the timeline.

    I can easily play each animation nested by itself since the reverse button, but I want to play the animation parent, in order to play the two animations embedded in the reverse order.

    There is no trigger that move to the position of the playhead, they produce just console.logs to try to solve this problem.

    Any help would be great.

    Mick

    I've posted all of the timelines. You have four maturities.

  • Click on the animation to play, click on the animation even play reverses.

    Hello community,

    I scoured the internet to find answers, but after a long search I finally with no conclusion.

    I have a simple animation. By clicking or tapping in the animation becomes a sign more in a sign less .

    Another click is supposed to reverse the animation, turning negative again in a more. I plan on implementing this animation in Muse CC for a menu drop-down.

    I tried different triggers and action, but my efforts were futile and fruitless.

    Would someone be kind enough and point me in the right direction?

    Thank you very much for your time!

    Kind regards

  • Key index reverse understanding

    Hi all:

    yesterday, I had a quick look on the key index return to understand what they do and how they work. I created a table called "Loudy: example

    CREATE TABLE Buchung (
     Buchungs_ID     NUMBER,
     Betrag          NUMBER(12,2),
     Buchungsdatum   DATE,
     Konto_id        NUMBER,
     Transaktions_id NUMBER);

    I filled the table with more than 400,000 records.

    After that, I created a key index reversed on the column "buchungs_id."

    CREATE UNIQUE INDEX idx_buchung
    ON buchung(Buchungs_ID)
    REVERSE;

    I used dba_indexes and dba_ind_columns to verify that the index has been created correctly.

    SELECT index_name, INDEX_TYPE, UNIQUENESS, BLEVEL
    FROM   dba_index
    WHERE index_name LIKE 'IDX_BUCHUNG'

    Result:

    INDEX_NAMEINDEX_TYPEUNIQUENES BLEVEL

    ------------------------------ --------------------------- --------- ----------

    IDX_BUCHUNGNORMAL/REVUNIQUE

    2

    SELECT index_name, column_name
    FROM   dba_ind_columns
    WHERE index_name LIKE 'IDX_BUCHUNG'

    Result:

    INDEX_NAME COLUMN_NAME

    ----------------------  -------------------------------

    IDX_BUCHUNG BUCHUNGS_ID

    dba_ind_columns shows only a single column "buchungs_id."

    I dumped the idx_buchung header_block and dump showed me this:

    block_row_dump:

    tab 0, line 0, @0x1cf1

    TL: 27 fb: - H - FL - lb: cc 0 x 0: 5

    Col 0: c1 [2] 08

    colours n ° 1: 0e 3d [5] 40 29 66

    Col 2: [7] 78 71 03 02 01 01 01

    Col 3: [3] c2 0d 4 d

    COL 4: c1 [2] 08

    Why is there all the five columns in the Index? Dba_ind_columns told me that there is only a single column.

    I used DBMS_STATS. CONVERT_RAW_VALUE to decode the Hex values to readable value. The image above shows a Loudy table row:

    7 payment-Buchungsdatum 8737,6 Buchungs_ID: 02.03.13 Transaktions_id 1276 7 Konto_id

    I thought that it needed only the buchungs_id column, but not the other four.

    Anyone know why there are all five columns in this index of key revese?

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks to all who read this.

    Best regards

    Florian W.

  • How can I active names change for images exchanged in duplicate symbols?

    I have what seems to be a bug in cc2014 driven on-Board under the following circumstances:

    1 duplicate a symbol

    2. drag the symbol duplicated on stage.4

    3 Rename the symbol

    4. Click to edit the symbol

    5. Select an image inside the symbol

    6. in the properties panel, change to reverse the image to use for this instance of the duplicate symbol (I need to reuse this symbol several times and not being is not able to change active names is a real problem!).

    7 names for the asset in the chronology and elements was automatically generated at the time of the duplication when trying to change the names they go back to the auto-generated name.

    How can I overcome this problem, which is clearly a bug or an evil thought thanks to some highly competent programming by another adobe edge animate tesm

    I thank in advance

    David.

    You can assign IDS and classes of symbols with attr ('id', 'newIDName') and addClass().

    So let's say I have a symbol that contains other symbols - I had to first give an id to the outermost symbol, then drill down to other internal symbols. So since I can remedy directly, then I can do what I want with them.

    When I want to create several symbols, then I run a loop so that they have the same name with an index.  Here, I'm not add an id to the internals, but you could use the same principle. You can also assign names of classes.

    example:

    create buttons in a div. navigation bar

    for (m = 0; m<>

    var buttons = sym.createChildSymbol ("button", "navBar");

    Buttons.Element.attr ("ID", "Button" + m);

    SYM. $("#button" + m) .css ({'position': 'absolute', 'top': 5, 'left': (distance += 50)});   Make sure you have the # in front of the name of the new

    sym.getSymbol("#button"+m).$('bg').css ({'background-color':'white'});})

    sym.getSymbol("#button"+m).$('number').html (m + 1);

    };
