  • Source for developer oracle 9i certification forms

    Hello

    Someone told me that oracle 10g and 11 g are mainly for those who are interested in the administration of the database. But, as I am interested in developers certification I want to go to developer oracle 9i certification forms (I want to have knowledge about the forms, reports, etc.)

    We can learn it without any conditions?

    If Yes, can you please specify the names of Web sites or book?

    Thanks and greetings

    Evil.

    I could write an essay, but some of my views are:

    I don't know the Oracle considers the later versions of the database Oracle which are generally upward to 9i, but also with new and better databases Oracle 10 g features and Oracle 11 g.

    Because there are directors (ish) significant differences in these versions of database there is emphasis of these certifications of database administration.

    On the Yes size of PL/SQL Developer is also improved, but the requirement of a more recent review of Classe (at the level of the OCP) was perhaps not quite so urgent:
    This seems to be directed to the version of the pl/sql exam, 1z0 - 144 (in beta), but history even after 1z0-144 is entirely released most forums vistors will go for 1z0-147 rather than 1z0 - 144 (see 1z0 - 007 against 1z0-051 messages).

    Also note that newer versions of the tools may not be tightly coupled to more recent versions of database.

    But, as I am interested in developers certification I want to go to developer oracle 9i certification forms (I want to have knowledge about the forms, reports, etc.)

    I suspect a developers point of view oracle 9i forms developer similar to forms of oracle developer 10g is not much need/demand for oracle 10g Forms Developer certification. (I think more emphasis to be placed on production in an express classe of application)

    We can learn it without any conditions?

    Not impossible but difficult.

    Recommended course Oracle would be: [http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getlppage?page_id=212&path=FMDT]

    If Yes, can you please specify the names of Web sites or book?

    - And courses:

    -Oracle have some self-training CDROMs: [http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getSearchResults?p_output_style=T&p_search_category_id=1278&p_search_format=2]

    -There may be some fair/good course arround. In India, according to me, the butt les fesses not sure, sql_star are an authorized partner and give forms of training. Beware of unauthorized training.

    -In terms of books

    There are probably more forms of bad books that good, and most will exhausted (consider second hand). Some sites like amazon have criticism.

    -Websites:

    -If you see or are given all Web sites to a subject check the URL through [http://www.certguard.com]
    -The site I know is [http://www.iselfschooling.com]. Its not got a RED at certguard and it's not got a green suit either. Theres a few lessons, you can get free. For learning is certainly not a problem. If then go straight for certification may be bad. But I believe that his training-oriented than oriented dump and I think using their original materials (if anyone knows different please let me know and certguard know and I for this post to be edited or deleted).

  • review of the Oracle of the landfills?

    One of my friends has made expert review of the database of sql oracle 2 or 3 years. He said oracle he sent landfill and all the questions were exactly the same thing in reviewing wait 5-6 issues.

    I know using landfills for preparation, it's cheating. But I would like to ask who has examples of questions oracle by post or landfills on the registration of examinations earlier? As if now, my friend is the exam in a month and he told me that no e-mail was sent from oracle with examples of questions.

    But I would like to ask who has examples of questions oracle by post or landfills on the registration of examinations earlier?

    I took something on the order of 24 certification exams from Oracle since the inception of the program in 1998 (and the review of the Expert SQL is one of those).  Oracle NEVER sent examples of questions for me.  There are 10 examples of questions for exam 1Z0-047 available from the on-site Oracle certification exam page.  However, Oracle would emailing not those to anyone and they are not the same as those on the review of the production.

    Your ' friend #1' received the discharge of brain he used to cheat at examination of someone else. "

  • Bangla font in the form developer Oracle 10 g support

    I use database developer and 10g oracle 11g. But police uni-code Bangla support not shaped.

    In general, the fonts supported by forms are not controlled by forms.  They are a factor of the JRE, the fonts installed on the client, and in some cases, the NLS_LANG parameter in default.env.  That said, if you are not already using 10.1.2.3, I encourage you to do so.  In addition, I encourage you to consider a plan to upgrade to the latest version which is 11.1.2.2.  Using the latest version, you will be able to use the latest JRE (e.g. 7U55 or 8U05) supporting probably more fonts and languages.  Forms 10 is not certified with Java 7 or 8 and is no longer supported.

  • MySQL-> table using SQL Developer Oracle

    Greetings,

    Currently, I am a (student) temporary employee who is responsible for the migration of the MySQL database of a company to their new (gr 11, 2) Oracle database.

    So far, I use SQL Developer, because I learned a few minor techniques with this application.

    I have tried different methods for the migration, including those of the Oracle (Migration of MySQL) page

    I however got no positive results with most of the methods.

    -J' have established a connection to the MySQL database Oracle database aswell, within SQL Developer

    Now, so far, I've copied manually (right click on the table, copy to Oracle) 90% of the tables from the MySQL to Oracle database successfully.

    However, these tables contain only about 5% of the data. The problem is in the 2 tables that actually have a decent amount of records.

    FOR INFO:

    File 1: 75MB file .csv, ~150.000 records (individual records contain all select queries, where the size)

    File 02:50 MB of files .csv, ~2.200.000 records

    My previous attempts to use the same copy for Oracle option to right click on one of the two largest tables resulted in the following error:

    The table of queries down. Message: java.io.IOException: IO error: socket read timed out

    My first action to prevent this error has been to add a second file data to the current storage space, giving it 200M maxsize.

    Okay it's coming, my real questions!

    This could be a possible solution to avoid the error mentioned earlier to return?

    What other issues are possible in case of failure?

    Uses an external table to a faster and more effective method?

    (The reason for which I have not yet tried external tables is because I had no SYS (TEM) privileges, so anything that requires privileges, I first have to discuss with my superior).

    Any help is appreciated! Although my next answer is maybe not earlier that come Monday 17.

    Welcome, Brent

    Hello

    I just discovered there is a csv Import Wizard in sqldeveloper also - don't know if you tried?

    tables in the destination database (oracle) - right-click and choose Import data - this will bring you in a Wizard of csv.

    However, I think that due to the volumes of data it may have similar problems.

    sqlldr is probably your best choice - it's pretty simple once you find a decent example - it seems to cover the basics of ok - Oracle SQL Stuff (for example): SQL-Loader: the tutorial step by step - example 1 (CSV file)

    See you soon,.

  • Developer Oracle 10.1.2.02 in Windows 7

    I'm afraid, I have a few questions, I am trying to solve after having upgraded from XP to Windows 7 64 bit

    Note: I set the compatibility to Windows XP SP3 and run as administrator on Forms builder and the OC4J instance

    1. When I try to run Forms Builder Developer he tries to load in Firefox, even if my PC's default browser is IE
      • This forces to complain about needing a plug-in
      • I bypassed the jiinitiator load by adding? config = YPI to the formsweb.cfg file
      • Note: the server call to centrally stored works correct forms with java 1.6 installed 32-bit jre
    2. The beginning of OC4J instance has the errors below, so don't know if this is important.
      • I suspect that the lack of line ListenerServlet init() is important

    I got to work in Microsoft Virtual PC - Windows XP mode - so I'm desperate not just prefer do run in Windows 7, but advice would be appreciated.

    Hi Elangford,

    Oracle Forms and reports 10g (10.1.2.0.2) do not work on windows 7 64 bit. Better to use virtual PC or VMware workstation to run it on the XP operating system.

    Fustration even met before.

    @skud,
    I know me.  I have Oracle Forms/Reports 10 g R2 (10.1.2.0.2) installed and works great on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.  Of course, Oracle does not support this configuration, it can and does work.

    @Elaine,
    First of all, I have a few questions for you.

    1. you are on a corporate network or home network?
    2. what version of Java you have installed?  Please indicate the full version number.
    3. do you have a JRE 32 bit and the 64-bit JRE installed?
    Since Forms 10g is a 32-bit application to installed the 32-bit JRE.  You have JRE 32 and 64-bit is installed.
    4. with regard to the forms using Firefox instead of the default browser, you sometimes have to say explicitly forms what browser to use - as Windows 7 64-bit has a version 32 and 64 bit Internet Explorer available.
    To do this, go to the Edit Menu of Forms Builder and select Preferences.  Then select only the Runtime tab and click her Browse... button next to the location of the Web browser field.  Now, just go to the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer and select the iexplore.exe file.
    5. When you have changed the "formsweb.cfg" which did you have listed for the "jpi_mimetype =" variable?
    If you use Firefox, you need to remove the '; '. YPI-version = 1.6.0_? "part.  For example:

    #For IE:
    jpi_mimetype=application/x-java-applet;jpi-version=1.6.0_31
    #For Non-IE:
    jpi_mimetype=application/x-java-applet

    Unfortunately, you cannot have a variable declaration, so you can list both.

    I hope this helps.

  • Oracle SQL Developer/Oracle 11 g/Windows 7 - cannot connect 'sys as sysdba'

    Hello

    I downloaded and installed SQL Developer 3.2.20.09, the latest version, separately from Oracle 11 g, because the version provided with Oracle 11 g did not work properly.

    Now, I'm trying to connect SQL Developer 3.2 to my instance of 11g Oracle installed on Windows 7.

    I can log in with the user name SYS AS SYSDBA using SQLPLUS, text bundled with Oracle 11g, with a password to null and without any problem.

    However, when I try to connect to the same instance using the graphical tool based on Java, Oracle SQL Developer 3.2 I get this error:

    Status: Failure-Test failed: ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

    I already checked the computer management and I am already a member of administrators and 'ORA_DBA' groups.
    I already checked tnsnames.ora, etc. and everything is indicated as it should.
    I also checked my SID and it corresponds to what was named during the installation of Oracle 11 g.

    Is someone can you please tell me why I can't connect using SYS AS SYSDBA?

  • run or print output to the web form developer Oracle runtime

    Hi guys,.

    I have installed oracle forms10g in windows 7. I'm using firefox v.2. When I run the form, the web Oracle developer runtime form does not open. the output is exposed in the mozilla firefox itself.

    But how to run or display output to web runtime Oracle developer forms?

    Thank you in advance

    What is the problem? What do you mean with the form, the web Oracle developer runtime form does not open and the exit is exposed in the firefox of mozilla itself?

    Is the form open or not? If you see that you are, where ever, then the 'runtime' is underway!

    It's poster in the window of the browser? But you expect it in an own window?
    If this is the case, you must set separateFrame = TRUE in fomsweb.cfg.

    oracle@alborz:~$ . oraenv
    ORACLE_SID = [database01] ?
    The Oracle base for ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/11.1.0/db_1 is /u01/app/oracle
    oracle@alborz:~$ sqlplus '/as sysdba'
    ...
    SQL> STARTUP NOMOUNT
    ORACLE instance started.
    ...
    SQL> ALTER DATABASE MOUNT;
    ...
    SQL> ALTER DATABASE OPEN;

    Database altered.
    Then I can work without any problems with my database and everything works pretty well. Today, I decided to install Oracle SQL Developer IDE as it makes it easier to modify the SQL code. My problem is that after reading the tutorial Oracle online, that I am still able to connect to my database. Firstly according to the method that I wrote, I have set up the Oracle instance. But then when I run Oracle SQL Developer I don't know what to choose for the user name and password? because since SQL * Plus shell as you can see I always write: "sqlplus 'virtue sysdba' and it does not prompt me for any password, I can access the database directly." Any idea? What password? What user name? for Oracle SQL Developer?

    Thanks in advance.

    When you connect "/ as sysdba", you actually connect as the user named SYS from the privileges of your operating system. SYS is the owner of the database and a privileged user. You really want to use this username for the day to day operations, but only for what can do only SYS. If you need a different user name. Several Oracle databases have a user named SCOTT who has a number of tables for use tutorial. By default, the password for SCOTT's "Tiger." You may also have other demo users, such as "HR". I admit that I forgot what is the password of the HR, but it doesn't really matter because SYS can change with this command:

    ALTER USER hr IDENTIFIED BY whateveryouwant;

    This command:

    SELECT USERNAME FROM ALL_USERS;

    lists all the users in your database. Understand that many of these users are there as owners of objects such as stored procedures and tables for Application Express, or TYPEs for Oracle Locator, not for general use. When you are ready to create your own objects, ask SYS create a username for them with

    CREATE USER myusername IDENTIFIED BY mypassword;

    and grant that user the privileges as necessary. You'll want to read before you get too far - I think that the developer of the Application Guide is a good starting point.

  • New review of Developer - Visual Studio 2010 professional

    I am very new to develop and would appreciate your help. I have developed using Visual Studio 2008 under an educational license and is now looking to develop a commercial application.

    I am looking to buy Visual Studio 2010 professional, but want to clarify some important points:
    (1) is a license automatically included to purchase produce a commercial application that can be sold worldwide (small scale)
    (2) Visual studio 2010 Professional allows a request to be released in a stand-alone executable file? because my educational version required for each computer to have a version of visual studio to run
    (3) Visual Studio 2010 professional does allowing databases to be created, held online and accessed/updated form to update several points at the same time? It is the function of SQL server?
    I would be very grateful for any help, cheers,.
