  I try to get the columnIndex on right-clicking on a datagrid control, so that I can use when I select an item in my custom contextMenu.

  Is there a way to give focus to the DG on a consecutive right click before re - display the contextMenu?

  I noticed that I don't need to set up an event listener to catch the right click for contextMenu of datagrid. Is there something I can change if I can do something first before the contextMenu pops up?

  You are in a catch22. The context menu is highest level last chance to Flash for a user to configure the plugin. It's like trying to disable the start menu in Windows. It is designed to have priority. There is no programmatic way in AS3 to hide the context menu, only to change the content. Otherwise people will abuse it.

  I've seen a few attempts at JavaScript/ExternalInterface workaround who work only, but because you're plugins of various natures (ActiveX/Plugin) and the differences between browsers, they can be difficult to make it work properly.

  The only option I have ever had to work was to have JavaScript intercept the click-right, stop the spread (so Flash never received), use ExternalInterface to send an order from JavaScript to Flash with the click information, then have Flash handle.

• When I'm on my Web site home page, if I right click on the icon of firefox on the dock (iMac) it shows "Mozilla Firefox" instead of the name of my site.

  So, if I'm on another site, for example newsnow.co.uk, if I right click on the Firefox icon in the dock, it shows "newsnow.co.uk" as one of the pages opened in Firefox.

  I'm sure that you can easily add a < title > for that and your other pages, and it will improve the way they appear in the results of search engines as well. In the absence of a title, for example, Google will just improvise something on the structure and the prevalence of the words on the page, which is not always what you want visitors to see on the results page.

  No, there is no difference. Both methods will install the same printer available driver and the two will work the printer even.

  I have persistent, repeated with problems trying to right click on the desktop without the aid of a Mouse / touchpad.

  He has a key to right click (context menu) on my keyboard between the AltGr and the right CTRL key.

  This always works for everything except a right-click on the desktop, when it only works about half the time.

  Often, if I try to right click on the desktop with this key (mouselessly), me seems to end up right click on an icon on the desktop instead.

  I usually then try to 'tab' (mouslessly) by using the TAB key to the desktop, but it onlygi annoys me to the start menu, and then in the box quick launch, and then to the bar of tasks, and to the area of Notification, then back to an icon on the desktop again... jump the desk itself... then back to the start menu... round and round in circles never the bureau itself becomes the "Active window" - such that I could right-click by using this key.

  Is it possible that I can TAB on the desktop, so that it becomes the "Active window"?

  I find this only happpens problem after I have been using applications for a while. In general, I can use the key to right-click on the desktop, or use CTRL + N to open a Windows Explorer window bit time after startup, but 3 hours later, it's a different scenario.

  I use Vista, SP2, Standard Windows Aero disabled (because the active windows or icons are stronger highlghted in blue in the standard).

  (Why not use a mouse like everyone else? I do, but 3 months ago I lost my pointing device (touchpad mouse) in some type of a software problem. I had to reinstall Windows to get it back.   If the keyboard focus is on a desktop icon rather than the bureau itself, then you should be able to press Ctrl-space to toggle the current icon between the selected and deselected (which should deselect the first press), and then Rightclick (or Shift + F10) key should open menu contextual of own Office.

  (This paragraph is in the interest of someone else coming in your question).  If you are not sure whether the desktop icons are chosen or not, simply move the highlight with the arrow keys box must select the highlighted icon and deselect all other icons.

  Edit: How I force the Office to have the circumflex accent is to use Ctrl-Esc instead of the Windows Logo key to bring up the Start Menu (the difference is subtle but there), then Esc to close the Start Menu (but keep the circumflex on the Start Menu button), then SHIFT + Tab to go back into the tab on the office order.

  Have you tried a new keyboard?  Connect an external keyboard if it works that indicate your laptop keyboard is broken and requires replacement.  Also just FYI - this is a support forum for Windows 7; not that it is important in this case, but if you have a question related to Windows, find and use the correct forum might be essential to get the advice you need for your operating system.

  Using Vista, there is an option to "Remove" a USB key in the drop-down list it with a right-click in the 'Computer' window that lists all of your drives. He was usually right under "Eject" if I remember correctly. Why is it is gone?

  When you right click on the Acrobat tab on the task bar, you've been given some options like the Pin this program to the taskbar, close this window, etc...

  Anyone know how to clear all recent items when you right-click on the Acrobat tab on the taskbar (see photo below)?

  "Remove from this list" option deletes only a single document at a time. Does anyone know how to remove it at once? Recent Articles that appears when you right-click on the taskbar is probably called jump list.

  BTW, just a note, defining the "Documents in recently used list:" zero is a not clear recent list as you can see in the screenshot below (via Edition == > == Preferences > Documents under categories)
