Now, previously, we used two different phones, she was using a Nokia 3500C (GSM), while I was using a Motorola KRZR K1M CDMA (). I tried port both of our lists of contacts from phone above.

  Then I simply imported contacts into our PC with Nokia Software and then saved your contacts file to *. CSV format. I also did the same thing on my Motorola, with the Motorola software and also recorded one *. CSV file. When I tried to read the two contacts in the Blackberry Desktop Manager, he returned with an error:

  I think it has something to do with some of the fields that exist in a phone but not the other. I would have thought that their Intellisync software would know how to take care of this?   N.. completely different. For your mobile network, with a strong network carrier (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  You should have a SOUND profile icon. Click that and then scroll down to SET ring TONE ALERTS. A click on that and the settings. Be sure to SAVE before you back out.

• Multiple e-mail addresses for a Contact blackBerry Smartphones

  Does anyone know how to store, and most importantly USE more than one address of a contact on a Pearl running 4.3.0.127 software?  BB is a great email management tool, but it has a major drawback because I can store only one of the e-mail addresses of the person, unless I'm willing to have several contact entries in the address book for a person.  I can't store a person working address, home address and phone, let alone address addresses for both phones.   No offense... it's very easy to do. Go to your address book -> hoghlight a contact and click the Menu button-> change -> click on the Menu button and select Add an email address. You did!

  You can add up to 3 email addresses.

  To switch between profiles, simply click on the profile icon and then scroll down and click on the desired profile (sounds like you want, then click on that).

  To change a profile, follow these steps:

  Now you should see the options in the case and the case you are looking for.  I think you were accidentally go into the profiles of Exception, which is more than you want to.

  First make a backup of your address book.
