  • My account user change for themselves while I use one.

I have two on my Windows XP computer administrators - Mozilla Firefox 4. Before Version 4, it happened. While typing in a user account, the screen would automatically to the other user account, by itself. If I went to Answers.comand asked a question, the answer would be go back to my other user account. I had this problem two years ago, and Comodo Geek Buddy fixed, but does not tell me how to do it. I don't have the re: funds. I asked Rogers to technical support, and they claim that "it is impossible to happen. So, I have no help there. They tried the remote control works on my computer and still could not fix. I even told them what to do to see what I mean by switching of accounts by itself, and they would not, as they have repeatedly said me, "it is impossible to happen. Computer administrators are both two user accounts involved. Could be the problem? On second thought, I don't think, as the Geek boyfriend managed to solve this problem, with the two administrators of the computer.

  • Odd occurrences - views of file change by themselves, additional letters appear on some strikes, other eccentric behaviors. Signs of a collapse of the nascent technology?

My computer has made odd changes - 1) views of file change every time that a file is opened (as for example film strip thumbnails); (2) folderSearch option replaced Open the first action, so I have to right-click to open all folders. Explore is sometimes the fat option for folders. (3) the letter 'f' or 'k' is displayed instead of the actual key letter; or the letter 'f' appears in front of the letter key. (4) the search screen opens whenever the computer is turned on or restarted. (5) a page saved in Word saves only partially. Am I headed for a computer crash?

  • Colors of the active & inactive title bar changing by themselves?

    Hi all

At my work we use Windows 7 Professional but work from servers. I think our facility's Workspace Manager.

In any case, we have no right to customize anything so we all have the same exact configuration. It's all together by the IT Department.

Recently, I got a new machine, and since then, my active and inactive title bars went weird. Don't really care about the color they are however so dark that you can't read the text.

The problem is that is not evident in all areas of windows. Only in 2 programs that I use and it is not the title bars that are the problem, it is the selected lines and not selected. Our IT Department is unable to understand it. It is not the programs because they do not have the ability to customize.

So, every morning I have to go to Customize > window color > Advanced appearance settings and change the colors of the Active & inactive title bar that fixes it.  (HE allowed me to access it!) But when I log in the next day she goes back to the stupid colors. It's driving me crazy.

It's not even the default color of windows. Also if I connect to another computer it is not affected.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Please, I beg you!

  • How change SMS ringtone blackBerry Smartphones?

    Maybe silly,.

    but please do help me

as I'm so alienated by my new BB.

    Thank you

    Vito

Go to profiles (your ringtones, silent, loud, etc...), do scroll down to advanced settings, in the menu, select the profile you want the SMS ringtone changed, then scroll the various tones and select a desired, then press on save, then save again, until what you press save when you exit the profiles.  Fact.  If you bounce from one profile to another, then you must do so for every profile that you are using.

I say this from memory because I don't no my phone is close, but I'm pretty positive that I am wrong on this issue.  Note, the Pearl and smaller skin of the BB screen the advance at the bottom of the pop-up window and scroll down to see.

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones image resolution / size changes by itself

I found very frustrating problem with my Bold 9700. I took the picture with a great resolution and Superfine quality. Strangely, after a few viewing (+ zoom in/out) of all pictures taken, I found little had changed the resolution of the images! I tried taking another picture, consultation, ensuring that the resolution is great, then multimedia applications, closing and reopening and viewing of the image again. It happened again after the second observation if I did a few zoom / out.

I'm very angry that some pictures are now small resolutions, and I can't trust viewing through media Apps again before copying the files to my computer first.

Is this a bug or is there something that I did wrong while looking at the pictures? It's really annoying to have your photos changing by themselves without any warning whatsoever...

    linklunk wrote:
Uploaded photos are very good. Also it looks like if I just leave the BB not used for a while (or just reset it), the images are at their original size. It's so clearly a problem with sort properties showing the different image size after zooming. (While the properties are sizes wrong; the thumbnails become too small, which makes me think of the media App reduce the size of the images.)

in the multimedia application, the thumbnails and the file properties are stored in a cache file. It is likely that this cache was corrupted. Simply destroy this cache, and then the media application wil recreate immediately.

the cache consists of a single file named BBThumbs.dat in each folder on the media card that contains a media file (mp3, ringtone, picture, voice, video note).

    1. Device connected to your computer after you enable the USB Mass Storage.
    2. Open Windows Explorer to view the contents of the media card (do not use the Desktop Manager or Media Manager orMedia Sync).
    3. View the & system files
    4. do a search for the BBThumbs.dat files and erase all (don't worry, recreate them will take only a few seconds).
    5. Unplug the computer
    6. Launch the media application. In the bottom of the screen you will briefly see a bar goes blue white. It's the indexing process which will recreate the cache.
  • Change ringing at night

Hello. I wonder if there is a way to make your ringtone change after some time has passed, as midnight. Because of my work, I sometimes end calls, anywhere from midnight to early in the morning. My problem: I'm a heavy sleeper. I wonder if there is a way to change all default ringtones or custom ones for contacts, to another, more jarring as my alarm for example. I tried researching this, but all I ever find is do not disturb, which is the exact opposite of what I want. Any ideas?

Yes Mr President you can do. You can not set based on the ring time. but you can adjust the resulting specific contacts.all ringtone, you have to do is go in option on the contact you want to set the tone for change and scroll down you will see a ringer option in which you can set the ringtone of your choice.   hope this helps you. Thank you.

  • iOS10 and change ringotones

How can I change ringtones to different contacts in iOS10? Of advice, because the normal way does not work.

I use different ringtones in iOS 10 with no problems at all. Go to contacts, click on "Edit" in the upper right of each contact you want to assign a custom ringtone, change the default ringtone for the new and press 'done '.

  • Power settings began to change on their own

I have a Pavilion Elite HPE Desktop under Windows 7 Home Premium.

I served in a "Balanced" power setting where the display turns off after 10 minutes and the pc goes to sleep after 20 minutes. Recently, setting the power began to come back after a while (I think) and certainly at every start up to a "Balanced" framework in which case the display turns off after 15 minutes and the pc "Never" goes to sleep.

I tried all kinds of manual-reset and back up without being able to avoid cela the unwanted action. I searched the web long and settings of power changing by themselves seems to be quite a common problem that no one offers a solution. I hope through this forum to find an answer.

I'm starting to wonder if some piece of third party software interferes with the settings.

    Hello

You're welcome and good to hear that you found the culprit.

    All the best,

  • My Windows theme changed for about 5 seconds, without me touching anything

This is the second time that this happens in the last 6 years or so...  I got my Chrome browser open and was looking at email and all of a sudden the color of my borders changed by themselves.

The two times it happened, it was only for about 5 seconds and then it takes up the theme that I had chosen without me or that you clicked on anything whatsoever. It was as if he changed the Windows theme Classic Blue and blue on the taskbar to the top border of the browser.

He freaked me out both times it happened because the thought crosses my mind that someone was hacking my computer or access to remote or something, but I have remote access is turned off and I have no virus or malware that I know (I frequent scans with Avast and Malwarebytes, which both have a real-time protection) (, and I'm a surfer safe).

Does anyone know why it happened or what causes it? It's so strange.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I appreciate your efforts taken to solve the problem. However, I would be grateful if you could answer a few questions to refine the question in order to provide you with better assistance.

    1. You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?
    2. Using a laptop or a desktop computer?

If you use a laptop, there are times that your laptop battery is low and the screen goes to the basic theme. For further diagnosis and troubleshooting on the issue, I would suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

Run this utility to display quality. It checks to see if your color grading, video effects, and above all, your display settings are correct.

Open the troubleshooter of display quality

If the problem persists, try the following method.

Method 2: I suggest you try the steps suggested by Azeez N responded on July 13, 2010 in the following thread and check if it helps.
