  I tried to install Ripple emulator for Blackberry 10 Extension on chrome, but for some reason any activate and disable buttons are not clickable. I followed the instrunctions given for the installation of the extension of the chrome ripple for BB 10 emulator. I can see the icon of the extension in my chrome browser, but when I click it, it has the enable and disable buttons that don't work not by clicking on.

  I was not able to understand the reason. I'm using Windows 7 OS.

  Also, I would like to know, I have an application that is developed for BB Playbook, so it'll work on BB 10 also?

  What other changes will I have to do to run the application in BB 10.

  I'm stuck with my first experiences in development for BlackBerry because I can't get the emulator ripple to Chrome extension to work. I installed the emulator and SDK Webworks and created a very simple application of HTML 5 - I've downloaded to a remote Web server. So I used the http: address instead of a file: address. I also tried to use the Kitchen Sink demo application and it fails too - it should not be my app or my config.xml file.

  The error messages in the console (from the kitchen sink demo and not my own app) are:

  Most people have the same mistake, when they have Skype plugin for Chrome installed.

• Ripple Chrome extension executable vs RIM

  I noticed that the chrome plugin (0.9.1) has fixed a TON of bugs that I have experienced with the executable provided by RIM (0.9.0). Does anyone know how RIM planned synchronize their versions with those of the TinyHippos Chrome extension. I know that it's only a minor version change, but a few major bugs have been fixed and it would be nice to see the RIM to keep their version in line with the current offerrings.

  The chrome extension pulls down the same user interface, but is based on Chrome itself. The reason why development tools work differently so rendering is different is because that's how chrome makes.

  The downloadable ripple is based on QT and QTWebkit.

  I finally managed to get the emulator to ripple, running with the Web Services of ripple. The app is a PhoneGap / application of Córdoba which will require a small handful of plugins to access the native functionality of BB.

  It seems that something happens where I can't run actually plug-ins against the emulator to ripple.

  Is there something I can do to make this work?

  I have followed this tutorialand have lost this process up to the moment where I try to package my app.

  When I try to package, I get the error: Oh, Snap! Build impossible request with the message: error
  This could be due to build and deploy services does not or is not installed

  However, when I click the start service button, nothing happens, I am unable to start waving Services.

  It is my first time design and app and am extremely grateful for any help.

  No, unfortunately I could not get it to work on my laptop.

  However, following the same steps accurate, I have services and the emulator running at full capacity, so the problem must have been with my computer, not the program.

  My apologies if this question has already been answered, but I just took the time to install the last ripple emulator after much frustration with earlier versions... and now, after following these instructions to the 't', I still can't use the emulator again because it will not allow the domain ajax calls...

  OK, so maybe my modified shortcut icon not been fired currently, so I manually chrome.exe launched from the command line with the following parameters:

  -enable-extensions-disable-web-security

  and it works.

  I can't get the ripple emulator starting when I open my file "index.html" in Chrome. If I start a normal site like yahoo.com, the emulator will shoot upward.

  Is there something special you need to do? Must my "index.html" be on a server somewhere so that it can work?
