Running the Checker found 1 new failures of persistent data

I read Doc-ID 472231.1 et Doc-ID 199933.1 as suggested on Block of fracture found during the backup of the data file and Oracle 11 g: block Corruption SYSAUX file

Do not be applied to my case.

While I was able to retrieve the blocks with RMAN; My concern is now the long term effects and what is the cause? Also, trying to find a more permanent solution and not to block recovery every 2 weeks.

Advisor? What should I look for?

Thank you

If it is Windows 2008 chances are that you have probably not ASM. Good luck to pick up a few Oracle then

I would certainly come from SAs for some assistance, they should be able to spot something at a lower level / side storage, have an audit of the PDF file & run the dbv and validate.

Marking bad sectors on a hard disk takes time so be patient. Delimiting does not repair a defective sector. He places pointers to the reader by saying the system not to read or write to these areas that have been damaged.

If the number of defective sectors continued to increase after using the procedure above several times, then you should replace the disk. If an important system file is written to a bad sector, you can corrupt the registry hives and lose the entire contents of the disc.

However if have run chkdsk you not see more new bad sectors, then the reader can work for you for years.

  • "The device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block" on Dell Vista SP2

I am repeatedly getting the error "the device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block." in the event viewer. Recently, I fixed a security problem that prevented me to install windows updates. For this, I ran CHKDSK (see results below), System File Checker, and a complete analysis of the system of McAfee, spybot and Malwarebytes, both in security and the good start. How can I check for errors on my HARD disk?

    My problem earlier wire: http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/is/genuinevista/thread/60c76236-abd2-4fea-8980-007f424a8eb0

Although most things seem to work very well, "the device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block." error still occurs in the event viewer despite the installation of updates/CHKDSK and SFC. Check the results of said disc 'the volume is clean' and the System File Checker showed no errors. Windows resource protection did not find any breach of integrity. Any ideas, what is happening?

In addition, I don't know if this is related, but a problem with the wireless network connection keeps recurring. "Windows wireless service" is not automatically start during the boot. It must manually be diagnosed and started. He gave the following error message:

  • 10.11.2 OS Mail index has been damaged

After the upgrade to OS 10.11.2 yesterday, when I opened the Mail (I use two accounts for Gmail and iCloud) I got a warning that my index of mail had been damaged, I should leave Mail and reopen it, and that I will not lose my messages or the mailboxes. When I opened her Mail, a window titled 'Message Import' opened with a progress bar indicating to all first it would take 4 hours. Now 8 hours later, it's still in the import process. (When I access my accounts via a web browser, everything works correctly - the accounts themselves seem not damaged.)

It's about a 2012 end iMac. When I opened the Mail on my end 2011 MacBook Air (also just upgraded to 10.11.2), I received the same warning that my mail index has been damaged; I'm not reopening Air Mail until I see how the situation is resolved (if this is the case) the iMac.

Someone saw something similar after the upgrade to 10.11.2? I thought that this update was supposed to fix e-mail issues... More important still, what can I do to restore the e-mail if the import process does not resolve the problem, or does not complete? And is there something I can do (maybe remove something from the library?) that will allow me to reopen the Mail on my other computer without wait 8 hours and count so he can reopen?

I've seen other reports of the present, but in these cases the repair took less than half an hour. But if you have a very large mailbox, indeed it hours before the process ends.

  • my account has been temporarily blocked during an investigation of unauthorized access and now I can't connect to or re: access my account

I created this account so that I can post this question on my real account associated with xbox live gamertag "kookamango" that is blocked.

So far, I've dealt with xbox live support, which all have confirmed that this problem is not solvable on their end. My last support Xbox Live call reference number is 1160762648
My account has unauthorized access and fraudulent charges have been made. The situation has been studied, and my money was refunded to me. The number of service request for the investigation of fraud was 1160762648. My account has been blocked in the investigation and is still blocked even if the investigation is completed and I was sent my email account recovery. Despite the reset my password several times and multiple recovery emails, I couldn't again access to my account, because he always goes to a window saying: "your account has been temporarily blocked."

    Speed stop?

Unexpected/unpredictable and quick stops are generally caused by overheating or bad RAM modules.  This happens too fast to create an entry in the newspapers.  Try downloading / running the freeware 'CoreTemp'.  It will show you how hot your CPU is getting and how close to maximum temperature, it is.  If this is your problem, open your folder and check your fans to make sure they turn all.  Use a can of compressed air to remove dust, because it can act like a blanket and heat your components.

To solve your problem of bad block, run "Chkdsk" with the 'repair' or ' / R ' option.  This should clean up your bad block problem.

Can you help me?

    Nope... I'm not confused.

MP4 is a film format and has nothing to do with
    Adobe Reader.

You need an application that can read a MP4 video file.

The free VLC Media Player may be worth a try:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    VLC Media Player
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_vlc/
    (works on XP/Vista/7)
(the name of the file to download is: vlc - 2.0.1 - win32.exe)

When you have installed... VLC right click of your MP4
file and choose the menu... Play with VLC
    Media Player.

Information on creating a file association...

Right-click a file... in this case a MP4... and the
menu... Choose... Properties / change button... Choose
the program that you want to use (VLC Media Player) and
Click on... OK / apply / OK.

What does that make VLC Media Player default
    program for MP4 files.

The next time you click left a MP4 file... VLC expected
    start and play the file.

    Let's recap...

Since the MP4s are downloaded on the net...
they are not attachments and my previous instructions
on... File / save attachments... do not apply.

  • Harddisk0 has a bad block

Recently, I got the error "device harddisk0 has a bad block" in Event Viewer and this has happened two times at the same time. I looked at and most people say that I do not understand is that I had this error before on another computer and the hard drive still works fine, but it is the failure of hard drive and it was many years ago that there are errors of disk on that computer. Is it possible that this means not always that hard drive is a failure?   Thank you

Blocks will bad for various reasons from head crashes to interruptions of current momentary when writing.  A few blocks will wrong here there is no major cause for concern, but if you start to get multiple occurrences then you should start thinking about replacing drive... and certainly to keep your current backups.  The only thing you should do when you start getting bad blocks must be running a full disk check (chkdsk with the option/r or f).  It detects bad blocks and formally to mark these blocks as being 'wrong' for the operating system do not.  It should also avoid getting several warnings for the same bad block bad block.

    · What is the number and the model of the computer?

    · Do you remember any changes made on the computer before the show?

    · You have security software installed?

    · You have a Windows XP Setup disk?

Try the methods and check the results below:

Method 1: Manually run the Chkdsk disk scanner. To do this, follow these steps:

    a. Click Start, click Run, type chkdsk /f /r and then click OK.

    b. at the command prompt, type Y to let the disc run when you restart the computer.
