Root A7600 A10-70

Hello.

Is there anyone out there who were lucky to rooting for the A7600 Lenovo Tablet? (IdeaPad A10-70)

I tried with KingoApp and FramaRoot, but no luck.

It seems that there is someone on the Russian Lenovo forums, which have root access, but the instructions are quite difficult to follow, because they are in Russian...

Thank you. !

Kingo worked for me tonight, using the 4.4 Android image.

I also got Clockwork Mod Recovery running on it with the help of a thread in Russian on a forum, a thread in French on another forum and some notes on the driver USB of Preloader MT65xx.

See how much of a hassle, it was for me... I can imagine that other anglophones have the same problem. I wrote my steps on a blog. Feel free to try this:

Only a stylus for capacitive touch screens work. Those who usually have a black rubber tip. If the tip is too narrow, then it be properly detected, so you shouldn't get the smallest.

    Hello!

As far as I know that you must add the Group everyone in the folder options. Right-click on the folder-online security-online advanced-online (effective) permissions
There, you must add the user to the other laptop or for example all users. Then it should work.
I had this problem for 1 or 2 years and it worked for me.

A friend of mine told me that he was able to copy the data to a Linux system. You can start form a Linux boot CD/DVD, and then copy the data on the other PC.

  • Tab Lenovo A10-70 2, 10 "Tablet without WIRE GRAVE!

    I bought the

    Tab Lenovo A10-70 2, 10 "Tablet

It has updated to android 5.1.

I'm sitting with the Tablet approximately 500mm away from my wireless router and the Tablet tells me that I have an excellent connection?

My tablets wireless keeps dropping out all the time and becomes unusable!

Y at - it a fix for this please?

If this isn't the case, I plan to return this POS to the retailer tomorrow for a full refund.

Please look at the other threads in this forum for more information on how to DOWNGRADE this tablet to firmware android stock 4.4, which is the only solution that I know and believe me, I looked.

I bought two of these (A10 - 70L) and I loved the tablet. I, like you, made the mistake of "redevelopment" this 5 Android and it became a useless piece of rubbish crap. WiFi drop out every few minutes is just totally unacceptable and there are also other problems.

I've learned how to stock firmware downgrade. After first make the mistake of doing it with a 10 - 70F firmware (version non - 4 G) I finally got the firmware 10-70L stock on it, so I've updated all of the updates from 4.4 and am root (kingroot) and just be deleted the Lenovo update tool ensuring that he'll never 'upgrade', once again and now it works perfectly.

My advice: take the time to learn how it down because it is (in my opinion) a great device with 4.4.

What I find quite unaccelable, is this problem of WIFI-drops-all-the-time-after-upgrade was reported here and in other forums on the right after the 'upgrade' have become available and there is STILL no solution for it. It's not as if Lenovo does not know about it. It is also quite rude to their customer 'support' to say ' well, it's not our problem you installed our upgrade and ruined your tablet. Maybe they're not legally responsible in China or somewhere like that, but here in the EU that they are clear.

  • Tab 2 A10 70L - should I upgrade?

Hi guys, I have a question to ask. Will I pass my tab 2-10-70 L lollipop 5.0? I got the update. I'm worried because everyone has problems with it. Any thoughts?

Mod edit: System model added to the front of the subject line to improve visibility / clarity.

It is no problem to operate, it has literally worked out of the box for me (my tablet was preinstalled Lollipop).

Just to be clear: Haho asks on the A10 - 70L (LTE) 2. I do not have this tablet, but I have almost identical 2 tab A10 - 70F, the WiFi-only 'model sister.

Of course, there are some things in Lollipop which are not large, as the percentage of battery missing display in the upper right corner (the percentage is still displayed in the quick settings pane). But things like this can often be changed with root + Xposed + GravityBox, I would use anyway, no matter if the Android 4 or 5.

Google Earth will never block on my phone with 4.4.2 either, but it certainly plant on this tablet with 4.4.4. I've seen other people mention here in this forum, but it was drowned out by complaints of Lollipop.

Could be a problem with Google Earth, or possibly a problem with 3D Kitkat pilots that could affect other applications such as 3D games...

    • As I said, the lollipop is faster, at least in the benchmarks (everything is not perfect, however, the scores of Java memory read/write took a dive).
    • Lollipop has less unfixed security vulnerabilities.
    • Also note how the Kitkat screenshot at the top, the two buttons below "resources:" are invisible (black on black) - a side effect of Lenovo messing around with the theming Android to Kitkat (change the decorations by default black to white, etc..). This happens with several applications; not often, but it is a problem. Lenovo did not try to personalize Lollipop that way, which is a plus.
    • Similarly, the component that many apps Android webview uses to display content (content and local content real web) Gets Play Store updated with Lollipop. Not the same with Kitkat. Given that the code of the web browser is known to have security flaws, it's also a plus for the pacifier.
    • Brings us also by the way some applications aren't available for lollipop and upwards, for Kitkat. Rare so far, but it is worth noting.
    • These tablets (A10 - 70F and the A10 - 70 L) are running a background called AALservice. It screws with the brightness of the backlight, which I find unacceptable. In Lollipop, LDA also has a significant performance impact. It's a negative fact, of course, but at least it is very easy to not disable, no root required, just some know-how. Making a positive. In Kitkat however, AAL does not appear to be (good) performance issues, but the boring auto brightness changes exist as well, and you can't disable them (very bad). If you have root or a custom, recovery you pouvez disable AAL on Kitkat too, but only because I created a patch for it.

  • Find root password

Upgrade to Mac OS Sierra and all my accounts now have Standard permissions, i.e. without administrator permissions.

How I either upgrade my administrator account or find the password for Root?

There is no root password. This is a disabled account. For good reasons.

You can enable the root account, but that increases your risk of being hacked much, because the root is a known account that has unlimited privileges. Enabling root makes your Mac a rich target environment.

But if that's how you want to live your life, Google "enable OS X root" and you will find several approaches.

  • User root cannot be turned on/off

Hello, I am an inexperienced user of OS X, and I started looking on the privileges of the user for a while, just in case, for safety. And when I learned that all root user, I started tinkering on my MacBook, unusual activities as not to wake from sleep, sometimes running the fans at full speed at idle, useless speed even download when no activity going on in front of my computer, may be subject to a person who has had access to my mac back earlier that activated the user root and back to my mac remotely from the back then.
So I tried to disable the root user, but I couldn't turn it off the screen or the directory utility with the command terminal dsenableroot - d. It just says: failed to disable the root user. `

I need help on this problem. Thank you

.. .but I couldn't turn it off the screen of the utility directory

What were the exact steps that you did and what stopped you from neutralizing him?

If you couldn't turn it off, because the menu item to disable showing 'enable', then the root user is not enabled.

  • After you turn off the root of the directory utility user, I went back to the main screen and all other user accounts showed is no longer at the start, as they were before you enable the root user.  Help.  Please, I beg you.

I have activated the user 'root '.  It was an attempt (for the sake of granddaughter age) to check its history since I am the administrator.  Realizing that this method was much more complicated than what I am capable of managing, I returned the utility program directory and disabled the user 'root '.  I thought that everything was ok, as I did not made anything while connected as user 'root '.  Instead, restart the computer, all users, including myself were no longer at the start.  The only point was a blank user name and password.  No picture.  No guest.  No user.  How to return those and I did something to cause this?

Else you being logged in as root?

Activation and deactivation, then root should not have caused that.

Also, having allowed root is one of the ways you get a login screen showing only the name and the password.

You should be able to type in your user name and password to connect.

One time connected, check users & groups system prefs, Connection Options and make sure he's on the list of users. You will have to click on the padlock at the bottom to make changes.

  • Glitch/Question of the root user

All other encountered an error of password for the root user that uses a user admin instead account?

Recently, I had to reinstall 10.11 on an iMac and went to create a startup disk. When I run sudo it asked for the root password (which is enabled) and kept saying "sorry, try again." I was sure I knew the password, but didn't so I reset the password of the root user. After the Reset Terminal still does not accept. I decided to user, my admin password and it worked.

This is how it is supposed to behave or am I missing something? (Err is human but to REALLY screw up, run sudo)

My Root user and the admin have the same password.

  • How to install certificates root DOD under linux?

I need to access this site: https://www.netfocus.netc.navy.mil/nrotc/candidate_app/Login.aspx to apply for the NROTC scholarship. I had been able to access this site last year, however, I've updated firefox and all I get is a "Secure connection failed" error now. Well, when I try to install the AC on this site DOD root certificates: http://dodpki.c3pki.chamb.disa.mil/rootca.html , I get an alert without end that say "this certificate cannot be verified and is not imported. What should I do to install this? I really need access the first site.

The site seems to use TLS 1.0
It works if I add the domain to the whitelist.

The site may attempt to return to a lower version of TLS in a way that is no longer allowed in current versions or maybe use a deprecated suite of encryption.

You can open the topic: config page through the address bar and use the search bar to locate this pref:

    • Security.TLS.insecure_fallback_hosts

You can double-click the line to edit the prefs and add the FQDN (www.netfocus.netc.navy.mil) to the value of this preference.
If there are already websites (domains) in this list, then add a comma and the new domain (without space).
There should be only areas separated by a comma in the column value (example.com,www.example.com).

If this help you can contact this Web site and ask them to look into this and update their security.

  • Security problem? Getting root is ridiculously easy.

Well, then I noticed the other day that an app (can't remember which) that usually of guests for my password to get root privileges didn't do - it just keeps going do need privileges for.

I remembered that shortly before, I used sudo in iTerm to run a command with root privileges, and I know that OS X is not asking your password the first time you run sudo unless a certain number of minutes has elapsed. I had assumed that this behavior would be local to the thread which you initially provided the password, what would have been the zsh session in iTerm. However, it seemed that he was local, at the session of zsh, zsh, or the iTerm. A completely different application had apparently grafted on my sudo 'session' and acquired the rights root without my permission.

I tested this by issuing a sudo command in zsh in iTerm, and then, after giving my password, I opened Terminal with bash and issued a command sudo there. No guest password, root privileges instant.

On this basis, it is clear that any application that is running as a user who can run sudo to obtain root privileges (which is any normal OS X user) can wait for the user to run sudo and immediately obtain root access on the system. Know when the current user runs sudo is easy, such an event is written to the syslog.

Proof of concept. Quick-n-dirty. Save as a script and run in a terminal window. Then run sudo in another Terminal window. The script will intercept the sudo event and write the empty file "kilroy was here", as root: wheel, at the root of the drive.

    #! / bin/bash

    tail-f n 0 /var/log/system.log | grep m 1 EI ' sudo\ [[0-9] +------]: \s+'$USER

    echo «go play with root privs...» »

    sudo touch/kilroy-was-here

    This seems... Bad... Thoughts?

    Daniel

Can you show a gain (Standard) of the 'Normal' user root after the administrator has used sudo?

  • Give root certificates and the 'green list' which sites they are allowed to check?

More a feature than anything request: I think it would be a good idea to have a whitelist optional for which sites a certificate root is allowed to check. A common situation would be a company cert root - if the browser can be configured to doesn't have to be a CA for the sites within this company users (employees in this case) could be sure that the company was not spying on their browsing to other sites, while allowing them to create and revoke certificates for their own at will. (But I remember at least a story recently where that would have allowed the general public when a CA started allowing the fake sites.)
