Rotate the text to write

I use Acrobat X Pro.

I added a text box using the typewriter tool.

How can I rotate this text box 90 deg?

Yes, your suggestion works. Thank you. I'm a little frustrated that Adobe can not simply to provide a practical tool of rotation. Thanks for your help.

  • Type of area tool AND able to rotate the text... is this possible?

    Hi people,

    Could someone please tell me if its possible, and if so, how can I add text to a triangle where the text is rotated 90 degrees to the right?

    I know that adding text via the area type tool it fits to the triangle, however when I then try and rotate the triangle (thinking that this would turn the text with it) the text remains in its original position and wraps simply to accommodate the movement of the triangle encompassing.

    If I use normal type tool, I can then turn the rectangle type area to have the text in the right direction, I need... the problem is it is a rectangle and does not match the shape of triangle.

    I feel so close and I'm sure its something simple, but I just can't cope. TIA

  • Rotate the text in the same position

    I created a map map of city with lots of street names and area text labels. I now need a version which turns the entire map 180 degrees... Once the card is turned, I have turn all the labels again 180 degrees so that they are readable... Ideally, I'd like to do a 180 degree turn using "transform each"... It is, do not turn the text to the center point of the body of text, he turned the anchor... that moves the position of the text too much make it a feasible process... I thought that maybe there will be a preference to turn of the (absolute) center point, rather than the anchor (such as older versions of Illustrator), but I don't see this option... I can do it manually, but thought I'd check to see if anyone knows what I'm on...  Thank you.

    Text rotates as the objects according to the anchor point selected in the transformation of each dialog box - it looks like an icon of the grid on the right side of the dialog box. Make sure that the center point is highlighted.

  • rotate the text field

    Hi all!
    I need to take value of query and place it in the text rotated on a 90' field
    I understand that I can not turn text element, can be rotated only text or graphic boilerplate collection.
    But how can I dynamically set value to boilerplate text?
    Thanx

    Hello

    You can reference a column in a boilerplate: use &

    For example, if your using the "famous" table EMP, you can display the name of the employee in a master key using:

    & ENAME

    Of course, the text often used must be in a frame of repeat.

  • Writing data in the text file or excel spreadsheet

    Hello

    I have a silly question to ask questions about the writing of data in a text file or a spreadsheet. I have an example that simulates a sine-swept DAQmx. The output it provides is the (amplitude and phase) frequency response function that is plotted on a graph (see VI) attached. I like to use these data for further analysis by transmitting the data to a text file or a spreadsheet. I've tried a few things, but the thread is broken. I guess I use the sink badly - so I was wondering, can you please advise me on what sink should I use?

    Your help would be very appreciated,

    Thank you very much

    REDA

    The wire is broken, because you cannot connect this type of data to one of these two functions. The data source type is a table 1 d of the clusters, where each cluster contains two tables. The text file write accepts strings, not clusters. Writing on a file action accepts dynamic data, and while you can convert dynamic data tables, there is no built-in mechanism to convert a table 1 d of the clusters of two matrices.

    What you need to do is to convert the data in a format which can be accepted by these functions. Since you want to have a "spreadsheet" file then you should use writing to the spreadsheet file that creates a delimited text file. Since the frequency data would be the same for the plot of the magnitude and phase diagrams, you can have 3 columns: frequency, amplitude, and phase. You can take off the items using Unbundle by name, and then create a table 2D of each element of the cluster. The real question is to know if you want to save the data at each iteration and if you simply add on the file. The attached figure shows write an initial header and then adding just streaming the data.

  • Rotate the fonts

    Hi, guys.

    Does anyone know is it possible to rotate the fonts?

    Police class has a method derived from

    public Font derive(int style, int height, int units, int antialiasMode,
    int effects, int[] transform)

    I suspect that the transform parameter should be responsible for turning.

    But in the javadoc is no information with regard to transformation of the values in table to rotate the font.

    Where can I find this information?

    Thank you.

    This is a very serious example of how to rotate the text.

  • Is it possible to rotate the full screen?

    It works great on the Storm 2, but I want to turn on the "BOLD" (because the width of the screen is 480, height is 360) so that the user needs to hold the camera on the side (screen on the left keyboard, to the right).

    To illustrate what I want here, it's a little graphic:

    Yes, that was what I tried to avoid, because I need to rotate the text as well and "cords" can not be rotated (easily); I was hoping to get a response like "Yes just use this method, and you're done" - but as it was already such a hassle to program for blackberry (before the announcement) it does not wonder that it is not as simple as that.

    What I have now is:

    -J' wrote a method, which replaces the Image.createImage (imgString) to rotate my images if a flag (displayIsRotated) is set

    -For both Versions, I have different paint methods who swap the X and the values of Y (could have done this with a flag or an additional method, but painting two methods are OK for me)

    -Channels: it was the most boring. g.drawString () is not able to draw strings turned, I implemented a BitmapFont class (in http://devlinslab.blogspot.com/2007/11/using-custom-fonts-or-bitmap-fonts-part_07.html) where I corrected a bug and he changed a bit in order to draw turned bitmap images and created a few BitmapFonts with the MicroFontMaker tool (http://j2me-mwt.sourceforge.net/microfontmaker.html).

    It's a VERY bad idea to try to translate a PDF directly in Acrobat. I recommend that you're looking for another way to do it, preferably in a Microsoft Word, if that's the format of the original file used to create the PDF file.

    And don't expect Acrobat to provide you with the same features as Word don't. The two are very different and have different objectives. Acrobat isn't a word processing application (although it has a few tools that can perform tasks).

    If you have to do in Acrobat and only want to rotate the text in 90 degree intervals, you can use form fields, by the way...

  • Can I rotate button text?

    I want to create some allong 'jump the tabs' the right of a form of several page so that it looks and behaves like the tabs in a binder.

    I managed to do that work perfectly with the buttons on the lower edge of the pages...

    QUESTION: How to ROTATE the text in the buttons so that they read VERTICALLY, as the text on the tabs?

    I'm sure I could create a rotated UNDER a transparent button & unlabled text box that showed through, but it's a lot of work to create and then distribute through many pages.

    Is it possible to do this easily?

    Just set the direction of the key by 90 or 270 degrees under the general tab of the field properties dialog box.

  • Table header row gets cut off from view when the text block is resized

    I'm designing a table that has a header row, 6 body rows and 5 columns. I want the header skewed to 20º and rotation type of needles from the same angle. Knows someone who worked with tables, it is not possible to rotate the text to this value via the parameters of the cell, but the job is to split the table into two blocks of text. The lower sash will be the body lines, but the Executive must have the header where it gets skewed to the specified angle. The text must be created in separate and then cut and paste frames in each column header and then it can be rotated.

    The problem I have is when I try to drag the bottom of the text block to the top while the header remains visible, the header gets cropped view. The only way to prevent it from is Cup is I leave the first line in the frame, but then it gets skewed is not what I want. It seems that the block of text ignores the header still exists. The screenshot below has two tables. The top version is the one that I want to apply the effect to. The bottom has the effect, but his top line is a line of body (not a header).

    I don't think that it is possible to have a heading row without at least a body line in the framework...

  • Problems with export/save the text file in Indesign

    Hi scripters,.

    I have a problem that I don't know how to solve.

    InDesign CS3, Mac and PC - seen as the problem on some Macs, not all, but some still have / get this error.

    I made a script that collects the text of some managers of related texts:

    for (var i = 0; i < myMainList.length; i ++) {}

    var curTF = myMainList [i];

    while (curTF! = null) {}

    myExportString += curTF.contents;

    curTF = curTF.nextTextFrame;

    }

    myExportString += "\n\n###\n\n";

    }

    alert (myExportString);

    It collects the text and also it will display ok in the dialog box.

    However on some computers (Mac) the following will only produce a byte zero of the file (when there are several textframe in the above loop, a zero-byte file is still produced - but again, it is only on some Mac) If a single textFrame with only a small portion of the text is saved/exported it works:

    var Folder.myDocuments.path = myFolder + "/ Desktop/export";

    //alert ("Myfolder:"+ MyFolder ");

    {if(!myFolder.exists)}

    Folder (myFolder) .create ();

    }

    var myFileName = myFolder + "/" + win. FilePnl.FileGrp.FileName.text + ".txt";

    var myFile = new file (myFileName);

    myFile.encoding = 'text ';

    myFile.open ('w');

    myFile.write (myExportText.replace("/\u2011/g",'-')); Replace (/ [^ a-zA-Z 0-9] + / g, "));

    myFile.close ();

    It has to do with using .silence?

    I hope someone can help me with this summer working on this problem for means of time now.

    Thomas

    Somehow myExportString became myExportText.

    In addition, what happens if you replace the text before write you it

    to deposit?

    Another thing you could try is to cast it to a string as follows:

    String (myExportText)

    Also, maybe try to change the encoding "UTF-8".
